Description
を有する化合物は、重合中における二官能性開始剤として使用される。共重合の1つの工程は、NVF単独重合体の調製からなる。その他の工程は、アクリル酸、アクリルアミド又はその水溶性誘導体の単独重合体ブロックの形成である。

Claims (13)
- i. N−ビニルホルムアミド(NVF)、及び
ii. アクリル酸、アクリルアミド又はその水溶性誘導体
の異なる重合モノマーからなる2つの異なる単独重合体ブロックを含み、
2つの異なる単独重合体ブロックが、上記単独重合体ブロックの重合のために用いられる二官能性開始剤に由来する分子スペーサーと共に結合し、NVFブロックのホルムアミド基がアミノ基に少なくとも部分的に加水分解されており、かつ、アクリル酸及びアクリルアミドの水溶性誘導体が、メタクリルアミド、N−メチロールアクリルアミド、N−メチロールメタクリルアミド、メタクリル酸、アクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸エチル、アクリル酸ブチル、アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル、アクリル酸ラウリル、アクリル酸ステアリル、アクリル酸2−ヒドロキシエチル、アクリル酸2−ヒドロキシプロピル、メタクリル酸メチル、メタクリル酸エチル、メタクリル酸ブチル、メタクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル、メタクリル酸ラウリル、メタクリル酸ステアリル、メタクリル酸2−ヒドロキシエチル、メタクリル酸2−ヒドロキシプロピル、メタクリル酸グリシジル、2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸、アクリル酸ジメチルアミノエチル、アクリル酸ジエチルアミノエチル、メタクリル酸ジメチルアミノエチル、メタクリル酸ジエチルアミノエチル、N,N−ジメチルアミノプロピルアクリルアミド、N,N−ジメチルアミノプロピルメタクリルアミド、メタクリル酸2−N−モルホリノエチル、メタクリル酸2−ジイソプロピルアミノエチル、1−(2−メタクリロイルオキシエチル)イミダゾール、メタクリル酸2−(tert−ブチルアミノ)エチル、N,N−ジメチルアミノエチルアクリルアミド、N−[2−(ジメチルアミノ)−1,1−ジメチルエチル]アクリルアミド、及びそれらの第四級メチルクロリド若しくはメチルスルフェート又はそれらの混合物;又はメタクリルアミドプロピルトリメチルアンモニウムクロリド(MAPTAC)、ジメチルアミノエチルアクリレートメチルクロリド(Q9)、ジアリルジメチルアンモニウムクロリド(DADMAC)からなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする構造化ブロック共重合体。 - 2つの異なる単独重合体ブロックのためのモノマーが、
i. N−ビニルホルムアミド(NVF)、及び
ii. アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、アクリルアミド、メタクリルアミド、ジメチルアミノエチルアクリレートメチルクロリド、又はメタクリルアミドプロピルトリメチルアンモニウムクロリド
であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の構造化ブロック共重合体。 - 重合に用いられる二官能性開始剤が、式(I)
(式中、Rは、H又はC1−5アルキルであり、nは、1〜10である。)
を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜2の何れかに記載の構造化ブロック共重合体。 - 式(I)
(式中、Rは、H又はC1−5アルキルであり、nは、1〜10である。)
を有する化合物が、重合中に二官能性開始剤として使用され、共重合の2工程のうち、1つの工程が、N−ビニルホルムアミド(NVF)の単独重合体ブロックを形成するための工程であり、他の工程が、アクリル酸、アクリルアミド又はその水溶性誘導体の単独重合体ブロックを形成するための工程であることを特徴とする2工程の共重合を介して、2つの異なるモノマーを重合させる構造化ブロック共重合体の調製方法であって、形成した構造化ブロック共重合体のビニルホルムアミド基をビニルアミン基に少なくとも部分的に加水分解する工程をさらに含み、かつ、アクリル酸及びアクリルアミドの水溶性誘導体が、メタクリルアミド、N−メチロールアクリルアミド、N−メチロールメタクリルアミド、メタクリル酸、アクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸エチル、アクリル酸ブチル、アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル、アクリル酸ラウリル、アクリル酸ステアリル、アクリル酸2−ヒドロキシエチル、アクリル酸2−ヒドロキシプロピル、メタクリル酸メチル、メタクリル酸エチル、メタクリル酸ブチル、メタクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル、メタクリル酸ラウリル、メタクリル酸ステアリル、メタクリル酸2−ヒドロキシエチル、メタクリル酸2−ヒドロキシプロピル、メタクリル酸グリシジル、2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸、アクリル酸ジメチルアミノエチル、アクリル酸ジエチルアミノエチル、メタクリル酸ジメチルアミノエチル、メタクリル酸ジエチルアミノエチル、N,N−ジメチルアミノプロピルアクリルアミド、N,N−ジメチルアミノプロピルメタクリルアミド、メタクリル酸2−N−モルホリノエチル、メタクリル酸2−ジイソプロピルアミノエチル、1−(2−メタクリロイルオキシエチル)イミダゾール、メタクリル酸2−(tert−ブチルアミノ)エチル、N,N−ジメチルアミノエチルアクリルアミド、N−[2−(ジメチルアミノ)−1,1−ジメチルエチル]アクリルアミド、及びそれらの第四級メチルクロリド若しくはメチルスルフェート又はそれらの混合物;又はメタクリルアミドプロピルトリメチルアンモニウムクロリド(MAPTAC)、ジメチルアミノエチルアクリレートメチルクロリド(Q9)、ジアリルジメチルアンモニウムクロリド(DADMAC)からなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする調製方法。 - 加水分解が、0.5〜6の間のpHを有する強酸を用いることにより行われることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 加水分解が、1〜2.5の間のpHを有する強酸を用いることにより行われることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 強酸がHClであり、それを亜ジチオン酸ナトリウムと共に或いは緩衝液として使用してもよいことを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の方法。
- 加水分解が、8〜14の間のpHを有する強塩基を用いることにより行われることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 加水分解が、10〜12の間のpHを有する強塩基を用いることにより行われることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 強塩基がNaOHであることを特徴とする請求項8または9に記載の方法。
- 式(I)
(式中、Rは、H又はC1−5アルキルであり、n=1〜10である。)
を有する二官能性開始剤を用いることにより重合したN−ビニルホルムアミド(NVF)単独重合体ブロックを含むことを特徴とする中間体生成物。 - 製紙プロセスにおける請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の構造化ブロック共重合体の使用。
- スラッジ脱水における請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の構造化ブロック共重合体の使用。
