- 手指が接触する表面を有する操作部と、内部に位置する凹状接触面および凸状球面の一方とを有し、互いに直交する2軸に独立して自在に回転可能な可動ユニット、

- 前記制御演算処理部は、前記第1、第2の回転角度信号に基づき前記操作部の可動範囲領域に相当する2次元座標系における前記操作部の現位置座標を生成し、目標位置座標と前記現位置座標の差分を用いた位置フィードバック制御に基づく前記第1、第2の目標回転角度信号を生成する請求項2に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記駆動部は、前記可動ユニットを、前記球心を通り、前記X軸および前記Y軸と直交するZ軸を中心に回転させる第3の駆動部をさらに有し、
前記検出回路部は、前記可動ユニットの前記Z軸回りの第3の回転角度に対応する第3の回転角度信号を生成し、
前記制御演算処理部は、所定の駆動波形パターンを有する駆動信号を生成し、
前記駆動回路部は、前記駆動信号を受け取り、前記第3の駆動部を駆動する信号を生成し、
前記第3の駆動部により前記可動ユニットは前記Z軸回りの方向へ振動駆動する請求項3に記載の入出力操作装置。 - 前記所定の駆動波形パターンは、可聴領域の周波数成分を有する振動波形を含む請求項5に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記可動ユニットは前記凹状接触面を有し、前記固定ユニットは前記凸状球面を有する請求項2に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記可動ユニットは前記凸状球面を有し、前記固定ユニットは前記凹状接触面を有する請求項2に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記凹状接触面は円錐面である請求項7または8に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記固定ユニットは、ベースと、前記凹状接触面および凸状球面の他方を前記ベースに対して固定する連結棒とをさらに有し、
前記可動ユニットは、前記連結棒が挿入される開口部を有し、前記開口部と前記連結棒とが接触することにより、前記可動ユニットの回転角度が制限される請求項5に記載の入出力操作装置。 - 前記固定ユニットに設けられ、前記可動ユニットが前記固定ユニットから脱落しないように前記可動ユニットの移動を制限する規制面を有する脱落防止部材をさらに備え、
前記規制面は、前記球心と一致した中心を有する凹状部分球面を有する請求項2に記載の入出力操作装置。 - 前記第1の駆動部は、前記可動ユニットにおいて、前記Z軸に対して対称に配置された1対の第1の駆動磁石と、前記1対の第1の駆動磁石に対向するよう前記固定ユニットのベースにそれぞれ配置された1対の第1の磁気ヨークと、前記1対の第1の磁気ヨークにそれぞれ巻回された1対の第1の駆動コイルとを含み、
前記第2の駆動部は、前記可動ユニットにおいて、前記Z軸に対して対称に配置された1対の第2の駆動磁石と、前記1対の第2の駆動磁石に対向するよう前記固定ユニットのベースにそれぞれ配置された1対の第2の磁気ヨークと、前記1対の第2の磁気ヨークにそれぞれ巻回された1対の第2の駆動コイルとを含み、
前記1対の第1の駆動磁石および前記1対の第1の駆動コイルは、前記凸状球面の球心を通る直線上に設けられ、
前記1対の第2の駆動磁石および前記1対の第2の駆動コイルは、前記凸状球面の球心を通り、前記直線と直交する他の直線上に設けられ、
各第1の駆動磁石、第1の駆動コイル、第2の駆動磁石および第2の駆動コイルの前記Z軸方向における中心の位置は、前記凸状球面の前記球心の位置とほぼ一致している請求項5に記載の入出力操作装置。 - 前記第3の駆動部は、前記1対の第1の磁気ヨークおよび前記1対の第2の磁気ヨークにそれぞれ巻回された第3の駆動コイルを含み、前記1対の第1の駆動磁石および前記1対の第2の駆動磁石を第3の駆動磁石として用いる請求項10に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記駆動部は、前記可動ユニットの前記球心側に設けられ、前記1対の第1の駆動磁石の一方と前記一対の第2の駆動磁石の一方とを連結し、前記1対の第1の駆動磁石の他方と前記一対の第2の駆動磁石他方とを連結する一対の磁気バックヨークをさらに有する請求項13に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記可動ユニットが中立の位置にある状態において、前記1対の第1の駆動磁石および前記1対の第2の駆動磁石は、前記Z軸に垂直である前記球心を通る水平面に対して下向きに、45度以下の回転角度Aをなすように配置されており、前記1対の第1の駆動磁石および前記1対の第2の駆動磁石に対向するように前記1対の第1の駆動コイルと前記1対の第1の磁気ヨークおよび前記1対の第2の駆動コイルとに1対の第2の磁気ヨークを前記固定ユニットに回転して配置されている請求項5に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記回転角度Aが15度以上25度以下である請求項15に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記1対の第1の駆動磁石、前記1対の第2の駆動磁石は、それぞれ、前記可動ユニットの内側に位置しており、前記可動ユニットの外形面において露出していない請求項12に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記1対の第1の駆動コイル、前記1対の第2の駆動コイルおよび前記第3の駆動コイルは、それぞれ、前記固定ユニットの内側に設けられ、前記固定ユニットの外形面において露出していない請求項13に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記可動ユニットの重心は前記球心と一致している請求項2に記載の入出力操作装置。
- 前記脱落防止部材の前記規制面と前記可動ユニットの外形面との間に空隙が設けられており、前記可動ユニットの前記前記凹状接触面および凸状球面の一方が前記固定ユニットの前記前記凹状接触面および凸状球面の他方から離間しても、前記磁気吸引力によって、点または線接触の状態に復帰するように前記空隙は決定されている請求項11に記載の入出力操作装置。
