DMSO−d6にEVOHを溶解させた後、得られた溶液を日本電子株式会社製核磁気共鳴装置「JNM−GX−500型」を用いて1H−NMR測定を行うことによりEVOHのエチレン含有量及びケン化度を求めた。
採取した樹脂0.5gに濃硝酸を5mL加えた後、株式会社アクタック製湿式分解装置「MWS−2」を用いて分解することにより、樹脂分解液を得た。当該樹脂分解液をICP発光分光分析装置(パーキンエルマー社製「OPTIMA4300DV」)を用いて測定することにより、樹脂中の金属量を求めた。
210℃、2160g荷重下で測定、JIS K 7210に基づき、樹脂のMFRを測定した。
JIS K 0070の中和滴定法に基づき接着性樹脂の酸価を求めた。溶剤はキシレンを使用した。
EVOH(A1)の製造
使用したエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体の種類、添加剤の使用量を変更したこと以外は、EVOH(A1)と同様にしてEVOH(A2〜A14)を製造した。また、使用した添加剤の種類(酢酸マグネシウムを酢酸亜鉛又は酢酸カルシウム)を変更したこと以外は、EVOH(A1)と同様にしてEVOH(A15、A16)を製造した。EVOH(A2〜A16)のエチレン含有量、ケン化度、MFR、金属(Mg、Zn、Ca、K、Na)含有量を表1に示す。
無水マレイン酸変性ポリオレフィン(B1)の製造
無水マレイン酸グラフト変性高密度ポリエチレン[密度0.945g/cm3、MFR(210℃、2160g荷重下で測定)1.8g/10分、酸価2.8mgKOH/g]100質量部及びハイドロタルサイト(協和化学工業株式会社製「DHT−4A」)0.0007重量部を押出機(設定温度:230℃)で溶融混錬することにより、無水マレイン酸変性ポリオレフィン(B1)を得た。(B1)の酸価、MFR及び金属(Mg、Al、Ti)含有量を表2に示す。
無水マレイン酸グラフト変性ポリエチレン及びハイドロタルサイトの種類、使用量を変更したこと以外は、(A1)と同様にして無水マレイン酸変性高密度ポリオレフィン(B2〜B17)のペレットを製造した。(B2)〜(B17)の酸価、MFR及び金属(Mg、Zn、Ca、Al、Ti)含有量を表3に示す。
高密度ポリエチレンとして表5に示す(C1)〜(C4)を用いた。(C1)〜(C4)の密度、MFR及び金属(Mg)含有量を表3に示す。
[樹脂組成物(D)のペレットの作製]
樹脂組成物(D)層を有しないこと以外は下記の容器と同じ容器を作製し、当該容器を用いて樹脂組成物(D)のペレットを作製した。以下、具体的に説明する。EVOH(A)としてA1、接着性樹脂(B)としてB1、高密度ポリエチレン(C)としてC1を用い、鈴木製工所製ブロー成形機「TB−ST−6P」にて210℃で(内側)C/B/A/B/C(外側)3種5層パリソンを押し出し、15℃の金型内でブローし、20秒冷却して全層厚み3300μm[(内側)C/B/A/B/C(外側)=1500/100/100/100/1500μm]の500ml容器(底面直径は100mm、高さは64mm)を成形した。得られた容器を粉砕した後、溶融押出して樹脂組成物(D)のペレットを得た。得られた樹脂組成物(D)中の金属元素の含有量を上記方法により測定した。結果を表4に示す。
[容器の作製]
[燃料バリア性の評価]
得られた多層容器に水を充填し、高さ6mからコンクリート上に底面の角が衝突するようにn=10で落下させ、以下の基準で評価した。結果を表4に示す。
A:損傷なし
B:一部が白化した
C:ひびが発生した
D:破壊された
得られた燃料容器を粉砕した後、溶融押出してリサイクルペレットを得た。当該リサイクルペレットを押出ブロー成形して500ml単層容器(底面直径は100mm、高さは64mm、厚み5000μm)を成形した。得られた容器に水を充填し、高さ6mからコンクリート上に落下させ、以下の基準で評価した。結果を表4に示す。
A:損傷なし
B:一部が白化した
C:ひびが発生した
D:破壊された
前記リサイクルペレット75gをローラミキサ(株式会社東洋精機製作所製「R100」)に入れて240℃、100rpmで2時間撹拌した。撹拌を止めて樹脂組成物を取り出し、高密度ポリエチレン(日本ポリエチレン株式会社製「ミラソン16P」)をローラミキサ(株式会社東洋精機製作所製「R100」)に入れて240℃、100rpmで10分間撹拌した。撹拌を止めて樹脂を取り出した後、ミキサー内に付着した樹脂(異物)を採取して秤量した。結果を表4に示す。
EVOH(A)としてA1を用い、以下の条件で製膜し、上記燃料容器中のEVOH(A)層と同じ厚みの単層フィルムを得た。
装置:20mmφ単軸押出機(株式会社東洋精機製作所製「ラボプラストミル4M150」)
L/D:20
スクリュー:フルフライト
ダイ:300mmコートハンガーダイ
押出温度:C1=180℃、C2からC3=220℃、ダイ=220℃
スクリーン:50/100/50
冷却ロール温度:40℃
各層の厚みや使用した樹脂の種類を表4〜6に示す値に変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、容器の作製及び評価を行った。また、実施例1と同様にして、リサイクルペレット、耐衝撃性評価用の容器、EVOH単層フィルムの作製及びそれらの評価を行った。
Claims (8)
- エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)層、接着性樹脂(B)層、高密度ポリエチレン(C)層及び樹脂組成物(D)層を含む多層構造体からなる燃料容器であって;
エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)のエチレン含有量が15〜44モル%であり、
接着性樹脂(B)が、酸価が0.1〜10mgKOH/gである無水マレイン酸変性ポリオレフィンであって、マグネシウム元素、カルシウム元素、亜鉛元素又はそれらの組合せを1〜8.5μmol/g含有し、
接着性樹脂(B)中のアルミニウム元素の含有量が0.35〜11.5μmol/gであり、かつチタン元素の含有量が0.5μmol/g以下であり、
樹脂組成物(D)が、エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)、接着性樹脂(B)及び高密度ポリエチレン(C)を含み、かつ
下記式(1)〜(6)を満足することを特徴とする燃料容器。

上記式(1)及び(2)中、Ma、Mb、Mcはそれぞれ以下の通りである。
Ma:エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)のMFR(g/10分)(210℃、2160g荷重下で測定)
Mb:接着性樹脂(B)のMFR(g/10分)(210℃、2160g荷重下で測定)
Mc:高密度ポリエチレン(C)のMFR(g/10分)(210℃、2160g荷重下で測定)
0.003 ≦ Ta/Tt ≦ 0.12 (3)
0.0015 ≦ Tb/Tt ≦ 0.12 (4)
0.83 ≦ (Tc+Td)/Tt ≦ 0.99 (5)
0.02 ≦ Td/(Tc+Td) ≦ 0.90 (6)
上記式(3)〜(6)中、Taは(A)層の合計厚み、Tbは(B)層の合計厚み、Tcは(C)層の合計厚み、Tdは(D)層の合計厚みであり、Ttは全体厚み(Ta+Tb+Tc+Td)である。 - 樹脂組成物(D)が、エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)を1〜20質量%、接着性樹脂(B)を1〜20質量%、及び高密度ポリエチレン(C)を60〜98質量%含有する請求項1に記載の燃料容器。
- 下記式(7)を満足する請求項1又は2に記載の燃料容器。

上記式(7)中、VA、MT、Ta及びTbはそれぞれ以下の通りである。
VA:エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)のビニルアルコール含有量(モル%)
MT:接着性樹脂(B)中のマグネシウム元素、カルシウム元素及び亜鉛元素の合計量(μmol/g)
Ta:エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)層の合計厚み(μm)
Tb:接着性樹脂(B)層の合計厚み(μm) - 樹脂組成物(D)が、マグネシウム元素、カルシウム元素、亜鉛元素又はそれらの組合せを0.001〜1μmol/g含有する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- 樹脂組成物(D)が、アルカリ金属元素を0.001〜5μmol/g含有する請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)が、アルカリ金属元素を0.04〜13μmol/g含有する請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- 高密度ポリエチレン(C)中のマグネシウム元素、カルシウム元素及び亜鉛元素の合計量が0.5μmol/g以下である請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体(A)層と接着性樹脂(B)層とが接触している、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
