Description
図4に示すように、抗張体層111は、ベルト長さ方向に延び且つベルト幅方向に所定のピッチとなるように螺旋状に配置された心線112が埋め込まれた、エンドレスの平ベルト形状である。図4においては、抗張体層111が接着ゴム層115とカバーゴム層116とを有している例を示している。抗張体層111の断面は台形状となっていてもよい。
圧縮ゴム層121となる圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aの成形及び加硫の一例を以下に示す。まず、所定の組成で混練されたゴム組成物をペレット状又はリボン状にしてゴム用押出機に供給する。圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aの断面形状に応じた口金を用いて目的の形状の未加硫ゴム部材を連続的に押出成形する。次に、この未加硫ゴム部材を加硫する。これにより、オープンエンドの圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aが得られる。
抗張体層111と圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aとを接着することにより、抗張体層111と圧縮ゴム層121とを有する伝動ベルトが得られる。抗張体層111と圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aとの接着は以下のようにして行うことができる。
抗張体層111及び圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aの表面を活性化し、活性化した表面同士を圧着することにより、抗張体層111と圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aとを接着できる。表面の活性化には遊離基開始剤を用いることができる。
抗張体層111と圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aとは接着剤により接着することもできる。例えば、抗張体層111及び圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aの少なくとも一方に接着剤を塗布する。この後、抗張体層111及び圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aの表面同士を圧着することにより抗張体層111と圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aとを接着することができる。圧着の際に熱を加えてもよい。
接着用のゴム組成物により形成した接着ゴムシート122Aを用いて抗張体層111と圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aとを接着してもよい。例えば、図9(a)に示すように、抗張体層111と圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aとの間に、接着ゴムシート122Aを配置した状態で圧着し、室温〜180℃程度の所定の温度を加える。これにより、図9(b)に示すように抗張体層111と圧縮ゴム層121との間に加硫された接着ゴムシート122が介在する伝動ベルトが得られる。
加硫された圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aをオープンエンドの紐状に形成した場合には、圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材121Aの長さ方向の両端部を接着してエンドレス形状とする。
以下に本開示について実施例を掲げて詳しく説明するが、本開示はこれらの実施例のみに限定されるものではない。実施例としてVリブドベルトを示す。
表面が平滑な円筒状の成形ドラムの外周面にカバーゴム層となる第1の未加硫ゴムシートを巻き付け、次に接着ゴム層となる第2の未加硫ゴムシートを巻き付け、次に前処理した心線を螺旋状にスピニングし、さらに接着ゴム層となる第3の未加硫ゴムシートを巻き付け、円筒状の積層体を作製した。金型上の積層体にゴムスリーブをかぶせた後、加硫缶内で加熱(160℃)及び加圧(1.0MPa)し、未加硫ゴムシートを一体化させて、エンドレスの抗張体層を作製した。
表1の組成のゴム配合物をバンバリーミキサを用いて混練した後、混練したゴム配合物をペレット状にした。ペレット状のゴム配合物を、抗張体層の成形幅と同じ幅のリブ溝形状の口金を有する一軸ベント付き押出機に供給し、リブ溝形状の未加硫ゴム部材を押出成形した。次に、図7に示すロートプレスを用いて連続的に加硫した。具体的には、外周表面円周方向にリブ形状に合わせた溝を有する円筒状の金属ドラムに、未加硫ゴム部材をリブ部を合わせて連続して供給した。金属ドラムとスチールバンドにより未加硫ゴム部材を挟み込み、所定の温度と圧力で連続的にプレス加硫しリブ形状の圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材を得た。加硫温度は160℃程度、圧力は1.0MPa程度、時間は30分程度とした。
抗張体層と圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材との接着及び圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材の端部同士の接着は、接着ゴムシートを用いて行った。接着ゴムシートは、表3に示す組成とした。接着ゴムシートは、バンバリーミキサを用いて混練した後、カレンダにより厚さが0.3mmのシート状に形成した。

Claims (10)
- ベルト長さ方向に延びる心線が埋め込まれたエンドレスの抗張体層の成形及び加硫を行う工程と、
圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材の成形及び加硫を行う工程と、
加硫された前記抗張体層と、加硫された前記圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材とを接着する工程とを備えている伝動ベルトの製造方法。 - 前記接着する工程は、遊離基開始剤により活性化した表面同士を圧着する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の伝動ベルトの製造方法。
- 前記接着する工程は、接着剤を用いて接着する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の伝動ベルトの製造方法。
- 前記接着する工程は、前記抗張体層と前記圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材とを接着ゴムシートを介在させて接着する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の伝動ベルトの製造方法。
- 前記圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材は、押出成形により成形する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の伝動ベルトの製造方法。
- 前記接着する工程において、前記圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材の長さ方向の両端部を互いに接着する、請求項5に記載の伝動ベルトの製造方法。
- 前記接着する工程よりも前に、前記圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材の長さ方向の両端部を互いに接着する工程をさらに備えている、請求項5に記載の伝動ベルトの製造方法。
- 前記抗張体層と、前記圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材とは互いに異なる条件で加硫する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の伝動ベルトの製造方法。
- 前記圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材の成形及び加硫を行う工程は、第1の圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材の成形及び加硫を行う工程と、第2の圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材の成形及び加硫を行う工程とを含み、
前記接着する工程は、前記抗張体層の内周側に前記第1の圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材を接着し、前記抗張体層の外周面に前記第2の圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材を接着する工程である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の伝動ベルトの製造方法。 - 前記第1の圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材と、前記第2の圧縮ゴム層用ゴム部材とは互いに異なる条件で加硫する、請求項9に記載の伝動ベルトの製造方法。
