前記第1電極材層は、電極活物質として、下記化学式(1)で表される化合物及び下記化学式(2)で表される化合物から選択される1つ以上のリチウム金属酸化物を含み、かつ、下記化学式(3)で表されるリチウム金属リン酸化物を含まず、前記第2電極材層は、電極活物質として、下記化学式(3)で表されるリチウム金属リン酸化物を含み、かつ、下記化学式(1)及び下記化学式(2)で表されるリチウム金属酸化物を含まないことを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池用正極のための電極:
LixMyMn2−yO4−zAz (1)
上記式中、
0.9≦x≦1.2、0<y<2、0≦z<0.2であり、
Mは、Al、Mg、Ni、Co、Fe、Cr、V、Ti、Cu、B、Ca、Zn、Zr、Nb、Mo、Sr、Sb、W及びBiからなる群から選択される1つ以上の元素であり、
Aは、−1又は−2価の1つ以上のアニオンである。

上記式中、
M’は、MnaMbであり、
Mは、Ni、Ti、Co、Al、Cu、Fe、Mg、B、Cr、Zr、及びZnからなる群から選択される1つ以上であり、
Aは、PO4、BO3、CO3、F及びNO3のアニオンからなる群から選択される1つ以上であり、
0<x<1、0<y≦0.02、0<y’≦0.02、0.5≦a≦1.0、0≦b≦0.5、a+b=1である。

上記式中、
M”は、Al、Mg及びTiから選択された1種以上であり、
Xは、F、S及びNから選択された1種以上であり、
−0.5≦a≦+0.5、0≦x≦0.5、0≦b≦0.1である。 - 前記第1電極材層と前記第2電極材層との面積比は、3:7以上9:1以下の範囲内であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の電極を正極として含むことを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム二次電池は、負極活物質として、炭素系物質、及び/又はSiを含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 請求項3に記載のリチウム二次電池を含むことを特徴とする、電池パック。
- 請求項5に記載の電池パックをエネルギー源として使用することを特徴とする、デバイス。
