Claims (17)
- 液晶ディスプレーを含む液晶表示装置であって、
前記液晶ディスプレーが、
上コモン電極を設けた上基板と、
前記上基板に対向して設けられた下基板と、
前記上基板と前記下基板との間に設けた液晶層と、を含んでなり、
前記下基板には、
行方向に延在するように配線された走査線と、
列方向に延在するように配線されたデータ線と、
前記走査線と前記データ線との交点ごとに配置され、前記走査線および前記データ線に接続された薄膜トランジスタと、
前記薄膜トランジスタを介して前記データ線に接続された画素電極と、が設けられており、
さらに、前記下基板には、行方向に延在し、かつ、列方向に間隔をあけて互いに平行に設けられた下コモン電極が設けられており、
前記薄膜トランジスタのゲート電極が前記走査線に接続し、
前記薄膜トランジスタのドレイン電極が前記画素電極に接続し、
前記薄膜トランジスタのソース電極には接続線が設けられており、
前記接続線は、前記走査線を間にして前記画素電極とは反対の側において前記データ線に接続し、
さらに、前記走査線を間にして前記画素電極とは反対の側にある前記下コモン電極には延伸部が設けられ、
前記接続線と前記延伸部とは絶縁された状態で交差し、
暗点化作業を行なう場合、前記データ線と前記接続線を開放し、かつ、前記延伸部と前記接続線とを導通させる
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記延伸部が絶縁され、かつ間隔を置いて前記接続線の上方か下方に交差する
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記下基板に、前記走査線と前記データ線と前記画素電極と前記薄膜トランジスタとを互いに絶縁する絶縁層をさらに設ける
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記下基板がCOA技術か、Organic平坦化技術によって形成される
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記画素電極と前記絶縁層との間にカラーレジスト層か、平坦化層を設ける
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記画素電極と前記下コモン電極とによって蓄積コンデンサを形成する
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記画素電極と前記上コモン電極とによって液晶コンデンサを形成する
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 上コモン電極を設けた上基板と、
前記上基板に対向して設けられた下基板と、
前記上基板と前記下基板との間に設けた液晶層と、を含んでなり、
前記下基板には、
行方向に延在するように配線された走査線と、
列方向に延在するように配線されたデータ線と、
前記走査線と前記データ線との交点ごとに配置され、前記走査線および前記データ線に接続された薄膜トランジスタと、
前記薄膜トランジスタを介して前記データ線に接続された画素電極と、が設けられており、
さらに、前記下基板には、行方向に延在し、かつ、列方向に間隔をあけて互いに平行に設けられた下コモン電極が設けられており、
前記薄膜トランジスタのゲート電極が前記走査線に接続し、
前記薄膜トランジスタのドレイン電極が前記画素電極に接続し、
前記薄膜トランジスタのソース電極には接続線が設けられており、
前記接続線は、前記走査線を間にして前記画素電極とは反対の側において前記データ線に接続し、
さらに、前記走査線を間にして前記画素電極とは反対の側にある前記下コモン電極には延伸部が設けられ、
前記接続線と前記延伸部とは絶縁された状態で交差し、
暗点化作業を行なう場合、前記データ線と前記接続線を開放し、かつ、前記延伸部と前記接続線とを導通させる
ことを特徴とする液晶ディスプレー。 - 請求項8に記載の液晶ディスプレーにおいて、
前記延伸部が絶縁され、かつ間隔を置いて前記接続線の上方か下方に交差する
ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液晶ディスプレー。 - 請求項8に記載の液晶ディスプレーにおいて、
前記下基板に、前記走査線と前記データ線と前記画素電極と前記薄膜トランジスタとを互いに絶縁する絶縁層をさらに設ける
ことを特徴とする液晶ディスプレー。 - 請求項10に記載の液晶ディスプレーにおいて、
前記下基板がCOA技術か、Organic平坦化技術によって形成される
ことを特徴とする液晶ディスプレー。 - 請求項10に記載の液晶ディスプレーにおいて、
前記画素電極と前記絶縁層との間にカラーレジスト層か、平坦化層を設ける
ことを特徴とする液晶ディスプレー。 - 請求項8に記載の液晶ディスプレーにおいて、
前記画素電極と前記下コモン電極とによって蓄積コンデンサを形成する
ことを特徴とする液晶ディスプレー。 - 請求項8に記載の液晶ディスプレーにおいて、
前記画素電極と前記上コモン電極とによって液晶コンデンサを形成する
ことを特徴とする液晶ディスプレー。 - 液晶ディスプレーの製造方法であって、
前記液晶ディスプレーが、
上コモン電極を設けた上基板と、
前記上基板に対向して設けられた下基板と、
前記上基板と前記下基板との間に設けた液晶層と、を含んでなり、
前記下基板に、行方向に延在し、かつ、列方向に間隔をあけて互いに平行に設けられた下コモン電極を設け、
さらに、前記下基板に、
行方向に延在するように配線された走査線と、
列方向に延在するように配線されたデータ線と、
前記走査線と前記データ線との交点ごとに配置され、前記走査線および前記データ線に接続された薄膜トランジスタと、
前記薄膜トランジスタを介して前記データ線に接続された画素電極と、を設け、
このとき、前記薄膜トランジスタのゲート電極が前記走査線に接続し、
前記薄膜トランジスタのドレイン電極が前記画素電極に接続し、
前記薄膜トランジスタのソース電極には接続線を設け、
前記接続線は、前記走査線を間にして前記画素電極とは反対の側において前記データ線に接続し、
さらに、前記走査線を間にして前記画素電極とは反対の側にある前記下コモン電極には延伸部を設け、
前記接続線と前記延伸部とは絶縁された状態で交差させる
ことを特徴とする液晶ディスプレーの製造方法。 - 請求項15に記載の液晶ディスプレーの製造方法において、
前記走査線と前記データ線と前記画素電極と前記薄膜トランジスタとを互いに絶縁する絶縁層を前記下基板に設けるステップの後に、COA技術か、Organic平坦化技術によって前記画素電極と前記絶縁層との間にカラーレジスト層か平坦化層を形成するステップをさらに含む
ことを特徴とする液晶ディスプレーの製造方法。 - 請求項8から請求項14のいずれかに記載の液晶ディスプレーに対して行う暗点化作業であって、
前記液晶ディスプレーに対して行う暗点化作業が、
前記データ線と前記接続線を開放し、かつ、前記延伸部と前記接続線とを導通させるステップを含む
ことを特徴とする液晶ディスプレーの暗点化作業方法。
