Description
特許文献1,2に記載されるような架橋剤を含まない熱可塑性樹脂の多孔質印材は、レーザ加工ができないという問題がある。
特許文献3の技術は、熱可塑性樹脂を印材に用いてレーザ加工を可能にするが、多孔質印材にあらかじめ水等の液状物質を含ませる工程が必要であるため、生産能率が悪く、また、液状物質を含ませるための設備が必要なので、製造コストを増大させるという問題がある。
さらに、加硫ゴムや特許文献3の熱可塑性樹脂は架橋されるため、これらを印材として用いる印版は、プレス成形でしか製造できず、押出成形法による製造が不可能であるという問題がある。
a)少なくとも熱可塑性樹脂100重量部と、脱水開始温度が100−500℃である水酸化化合物50−250重量部と、平均粒径が10−60μmである水溶性形孔材とを含む材料を混合して混合材料を得る工程、
b)得られた混合材料を用いて、押出成形法により押出成形体を得る工程、
c)得られた押出成形体を水系溶媒で処理して水溶性形孔材を溶出させることにより、気孔径が10−60μmである連続孔を有する多孔質印材を得る工程、
d)得られた多孔質印材を用いて、レーザ加工法により、印版を製作する工程、
よりなることを特徴とする多孔質印版の製造方法である。
熱可塑性樹脂としてオレフィン系エラストマー2kgと、水酸化化合物として水酸化アルミニウム3.2kgと、気孔材7.5kgと、形孔助剤としてポリエチレングリコール1.7kgとを、10リッターニーダー設定150℃で15分混錬し、2軸押出機にてペレット状に成形した。成形したペレットを、押出成形機にて、押出速度50kg/時、シリンダー温度130℃以下の条件で押出成形し、シート状の押出成形体を得た。得られたシート状押出成形体を、40℃の温水を用い、水中の気孔材の濃度が検出不可になるまで攪拌しながら洗浄した。次いで、ローラーで脱水後、乾燥機で40℃の温風で乾燥し、オレフィン系エラストマーと水酸化アルミニウムとを主体とする多孔質体から成る多孔質印材を製作した。
実施例1に従って製作した本発明に係る多孔質印材について、水酸化アルミニウムの配合比率と、レーザ加工により形成した印面の輪郭の明確性との関係を調べた。
試験方法は、水酸化アルミニウムの配合量が異なる多孔質印版を複数製作し、各多孔質印版において、レーザ照射により、図1の図(A)(B)に示すように、幅1mm、高さ1mmを目標とする凸版のT字を形成する。そして、実際に製作された印面におけるT字の横線のt1断面における幅寸法T1(表面のフラット量)および縦線のt2断面における幅寸法T2(表面のフラット量)を計測した。
前記実施例は、オレフィン系エラストマーに対し、水酸化アルミニウムを配合して、レーザ照射による熱の影響を緩和するものであるが、熱可塑性樹脂の種類に応じて、他の水酸化化合物を使用することが可能である。たとえば、融点が高い各種のエンジニアリング・プラスチックなどの熱可塑性樹脂に対しては、水酸化マグネシウムなどの脱水開始温度が高い水酸化化合物を使用すればよい。
Claims (5)
- 熱可塑性樹脂と、熱可塑性樹脂100重量部に対し50−250重量部の水酸化化合物とを含み、気孔径が10−60μmである連続孔を有する多孔質体からなり、水酸化化合物の脱水開始温度が100−500℃であることを特徴とする多孔質印材。
- 前記水酸化化合物は、水酸化アルミニウムまたは水酸化マグネシウムである請求項1に記載の多孔質印材。
- 前記水酸化化合物は、平均粒径が5μm以下である請求項1または2に記載の多孔質印材。
- 請求項1−3のいずれか1項に記載の多孔質印材を用いて製作されたことを特徴とする多孔質印版。
- a)少なくとも熱可塑性樹脂100重量部と、脱水開始温度が100−500℃である水酸化化合物50−250重量部と、平均粒径が10−60μmである水溶性形孔材とを含む材料を混合して混合材料を得る工程、
b)得られた混合材料を用いて、押出成形法により押出成形体を得る工程、
c)得られた押出成形体を水系溶媒で処理して水溶性形孔材を溶出させることにより、気孔径が10−60μmである連続孔を有する多孔質印材を得る工程、
d)得られた多孔質印材を用いて、レーザ加工法により、印版を製作する工程、
よりなることを特徴とする多孔質印版の製造方法。
