Description
また回路部は、フィルタ部が制御部からの制御信号を通過させない場合、その内部回路において電源からの電流経路が遮断する構成とする。これにより、電源電圧を直接的にコイルへ出力している状態において、回路部での消費電力を低減することができる。
図4は、変形例1に係るリレー制御装置10の構成を示すブロック図である。なお図4においては、回路部13、降圧DC/DC変換部14及び電磁リレー5等の図示は省略してある。変形例1に係るリレー制御装置10の制御部11は、発振回路111及び制御回路112を有している。発振回路111は、制御回路112が指定した周波数のPFM信号を生成して出力する回路である。制御回路112は、IG信号などの入力に応じて各電磁リレー5の制御を行う回路であり、リレー制御信号を生成して出力する。制御回路112は、発振回路111の動作(PFM信号の出力開始、停止及びPFM信号の周波数)を制御する信号を出力する。
上述の実施の形態においてフィルタ部12はハイパスフィルタとしたが、変形例2に係るリレー制御装置10は、フィルタ部12をバンドパスフィルタとする。変形例2に係るフィルタ部12は、所定の下限周波数を超えないPFM信号をカットすると共に、所定の上限周波数を超えるPFM信号をカットすることにより、下限周波数及び上限周波数間の周波数のPFM信号を通過させる。フィルタ部12が上限周波数を超えるPFM信号をカットする構成とすることにより、変形例2に係るリレー制御装置10は、例えば発振回路111が故障又は誤動作等により異常発振し、制御部11が上限周波数を超える高周波の信号を出力した場合などに、この信号に基づいて降圧DC/DC変換部14の動作が行われることを防止することができる。

Claims (5)
- コイルへの通電により電磁リレーの導通又は遮断の切り替えを制御するリレー制御装置において、
電源からの供給電圧を降圧して前記コイルへ出力する降圧DC/DC変換部と、
該降圧DC/DC変換部の動作を制御するパルス周波数変調の制御信号を出力する制御部と、
該制御部が出力した前記制御信号のうち、所定の周波数の信号を通過させるフィルタ部と、
前記フィルタ部及び前記降圧DC/DC変換部の間に介在し、前記フィルタ部が出力する信号に応じて前記降圧DC/DC変換部の動作を制御する回路部と
を備え、
前記回路部は、前記フィルタ部が前記制御信号を通過させない場合、前記降圧DC/DC変換部が前記電源からの供給電圧を降圧せずに出力するよう制御を行うと共に、回路内部の前記電源から接地電位への電流経路を遮断するようにしてあること
を特徴とするリレー制御装置。 - 前記降圧DC/DC変換部は、第1スイッチング素子の導通又は遮断の切り替えにより降圧を行うチョッパ方式の変換回路であり、
前記回路部は、前記フィルタ部が前記制御信号を通過させない場合、前記第1スイッチング素子を導通状態で維持するようにしてあること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載のリレー制御装置。 - 前記フィルタ部は、前記制御信号を通過させない場合、所定電圧の信号を出力するようにしてあり、
前記回路部は、前記フィルタ部から入力された信号を増幅して出力する増幅回路であること
を特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のリレー制御装置。 - 前記コイルに直列接続され、導通又は遮断が前記制御部により制御される第2スイッチング素子を更に備え、
前記制御部は、前記降圧DC/DC変換部による降圧を停止した後に前記第2スイッチング素子を導通状態とし、該第2スイッチング素子を導通状態とした後に前記降圧DC/DC変換部による降圧を開始するようにしてあること
を特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1つに記載のリレー制御装置。 - 車両に搭載され、
前記車両のイグニッションスイッチがオフ状態の場合に、前記制御部から前記フィルタ部への前記制御信号を遮断する遮断部を更に備えること
を特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1つに記載のリレー制御装置。
