Claims (4)
- ガイドワイヤが挿通可能なガイドワイヤルーメンを備える内管シャフトと、
前記内管シャフトの外周に流体が流通可能な流体ルーメンを形成する外管シャフトと、
流体が流入可能な空間部を前記流体ルーメンに連通させて前記内管シャフトの先端部側の外周に区画する膜材と、
流体が流入可能な内腔が前記膜材の外周に形成された膨張および収縮可能なバルーンと、を有し、
前記膜材は、前記空間部への流体の流入に伴い前記空間部の内圧が増加して所定の圧力に達した際に、前記流体を前記空間部から前記バルーンの内腔へ流出させる流出部を有しており、
前記内管シャフトは、前記空間部の内圧の増加に応じて当該内管シャフトの少なくとも一部を径方向の内方へ縮径変形させる縮径変形部を有し、
前記外管シャフトの先端部側は、軸方向における所定の範囲で前記内管シャフトを覆うように配置されており、
前記膜材の基端部側は、前記外管シャフトの先端部側の外周に配置されており、
前記バルーンの基端部側は、前記膜材の基端部側の外周に配置されていることを特徴とするバルーンカテーテル。 - 前記膜材の基端部は、前記外管シャフトの先端部側の外周面に固定されており、
前記バルーンの基端部は、前記膜材の基端部よりも軸方向の基端部側の位置において前記外管シャフトの外周面に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。 - 前記流出部は、軸方向における所定の範囲にわたって前記膜材の一部を破断させることにより前記膜材に開口を形成する脆弱部を有することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- ガイドワイヤが挿通可能な内管シャフトと、前記内管シャフトの外周に流体が流通可能な流体ルーメンを区画する外管シャフトと、前記内管シャフトの先端部の外周に空間部を区画するとともに当該空間部の内圧の増加により、当該空間部から流体を流出させる流出部が形成された膜材と、前記膜材の外周に内腔が形成されるバルーンと、を有しており、前記空間部の内圧の増加により前記内管シャフトの少なくとも一部が径方向の内方へ縮径変形可能に構成されたバルーンカテーテルを製造する方法であって、
前記バルーンをなす第1のチューブ素材に前記膜材をなす第2のチューブ素材を挿入した状態で前記第1のチューブ素材の先端開口部および基端開口部のうちの一方の開口部を封止する工程と、
前記第1のチューブ素材と前記第2のチューブ素材との間に滞留するガスを、前記第1のチューブ素材の封止されなかった他方の開口部を介して排気する工程と、
前記第1のチューブ素材の他方の開口部を封止する工程と、
前記内管シャフトおよび前記外管シャフトを備えるシャフト組立体に、前記第1のチューブ素材および前記第2のチューブ素材を接合する工程と、を有するバルーンカテーテルの製造方法。
