Description
以下、車両用制御装置の第1実施形態を説明する。
図1に示すように、車両1は、該車両1の駆動源たる内燃機関2を備える。内燃機関2には、その動力を伝達可能にドライブシャフト3が連結されるとともに、該ドライブシャフト3を介して車両前方側の左右一対のフロントタイヤ4がそれぞれ連結される。
図2に示すように、駆動モータ11には、その動力を出力して減速機12に伝達する出力ギア20が機械的に連結される。また、減速機12は、歯数の異なる複数の減速ギア21を備える。減速ギア21は、出力ギア20に噛み合って機械的に連結されることにより該出力ギア20の動力をデフ13に伝達する。
図3に示すように、車両用制御装置30は、駆動モータ制御信号S_mを出力する制御回路としてのマイクロプロセッサ(以下、「MPU」という)31を備える。また、車両用制御装置30は、MPU31から出力される駆動モータ制御信号S_mに基づいて駆動モータ11に駆動電力を供給し、該駆動モータ11を駆動させる第1の駆動回路としての駆動回路32を備える。
MPU31は、車両1が正常に走行する通常の走行状態の場合、開閉器34をオン状態に動作させ、二次電池6から電力を供給可能に制御する。そして、MPU31は、通常の走行状態における車両1のアクセル操作量ACC及びブレーキ操作量BRKの変化に応じた駆動モータ11の回転動作を伴うように、駆動モータ制御信号S_mを出力して駆動回路32を通常に制御する。また、この場合にMPU31は、クラッチCLの状態を切り替えるべき条件の成立に応じたクラッチモータ29の回転動作を伴うように、クラッチモータ制御信号S_cを出力してクラッチ駆動回路36を通常に制御する。
上述した通常の走行状態中には、加速度センサ9Aが車両1への衝撃を検出することもある。この場合、車両1では、該車両1が衝突した又は衝突される、異常状態に陥っている可能性もあり、乗員の安全性確保のために平滑コンデンサ33に蓄えられている電荷を放電する必要がある。このため、MPU31は、通常の走行状態中、加速度センサ9Aからの検出結果に応じた処理を実行する。
図5(a)に示すように、車両1の衝突なしと判断されるとき、すなわち通常の走行状態中には、駆動回路32及びクラッチ駆動回路36に対して二次電池6が接続されており、該二次電池6から平滑コンデンサ33によって平滑化される直流電力が駆動回路32及びクラッチ駆動回路36に入力される。このときの平滑コンデンサ33には、二次電池6からの直流電力を平滑化する過程で電荷が蓄えられていく。
(1)車両1の異常状態を検出するとき、各駆動回路32,36に対して二次電池6を切り離して、クラッチモータ29を回転(断続機構40を駆動)させることにより、平滑コンデンサ33の電荷を放電することができる。したがって、平滑コンデンサ33を放電させるための専用の装置等が不要になり、装置の大型化を抑えることができる。
次に、図6に基づいて、車両用制御装置の第2実施形態を説明する。なお、本実施形態と上記第1実施形態との主たる相違点は、異常時処理にて、異常状態とする条件とクラッチ駆動回路36の制御内容のみである。このため、既に説明した実施形態と同一構成及び同一制御内容などは、同一の符号を付すなどして、その重複する説明を省略する。
車両1の急制動ありと判断されるとき、クラッチCLの結合状態が維持されるようにクラッチモータ29が回転する(断続機構40が駆動する)。すなわち、その後の車両1の衝突に備えて平滑コンデンサ33に蓄積された電荷を事前に放電しておくことができる。これにより、車両1の急制動ありと判断されるとき、その後に車両1の衝突が発生しても、その発生時点では平滑コンデンサ33の電荷の放電が既に開始されており、いくらかは電荷の放電を完了させることができる。
(5)急制動を経る結果、実際に車両1の衝突が発生しても、その衝突時点では平滑コンデンサ33の電荷の放電が既に開始されており、いくらかは電荷の放電を完了させることができ、上記衝突時点での乗員のさらなる安全性を確保することができる。
・異常時処理を通じてのクラッチモータ29の回転は、該クラッチモータ29の回転速度を検出しながら回転が止まるまで継続させてもよい。
・第1実施形態において、異常時処理を通じてのクラッチモータ29の回転は、クラッチCLが開放状態になることで停止させてもよい。
・第1実施形態において、異常時処理(ステップS100)では、加速度センサ9Aの代わりに圧力センサを用いることもできる。このようなセンサであれば、車両用制御装置30として組み込むこともできる。また、この処理では、車速SPの減衰量から車両1の衝突(異常)を判断してもよい。その他、回転角度センサ等の駆動モータ11の回転速度の変化から車両1の衝突(異常)を判断してもよい。
・第2実施形態では、急制動ありとなった後、車両1の衝突あり又は衝突なしを判断してもよい。この場合、例えば、車両1の衝突ありであれば、ステップS204,S205の処理を行う一方、車両1の衝突なしであれば、異常時処理を終了することが考えられる。こうすることで、車両1の急制動を経て車両1の衝突が発生しない場合、その後に車両1の加速を要する状況にも即座に対応できるようになる。
・クラッチCLの具体的な構成を変更してもよく、例えば、1枚のクラッチ板で構成したり、電磁クラッチを採用したりもできる。なお、電磁クラッチを採用する場合には、クラッチCLとクラッチ押部26の駆動源たるアクチュエータ等とで断続機構が構築される。
・開閉器34の切り替えには、別途、制御装置を設けるようにしてもよい。また、上記制御装置は、ブレーキセンサ7A、加速度センサ9A、及び車速センサ10Aから検出結果を入力したり、MPU31から指示されたりして開閉器34の切り替えを行う。
・車両用制御装置30は、各駆動回路としてコンバータ回路を採用したり、回転電機を発電機として機能させる車両用制御装置として用いたりすることもできる。
・駆動モータ11やクラッチモータ29は、その種類を変更してもよい。例えば、クラッチモータ29は、ブラシレス直流モータにしたり、交流モータを採用したりしてもよい。こういったモータの変更にあたっては、モータに応じて各駆動回路も変更する。
(イ)前記異常状態の指標は、車両の制動の変化を含み、前記制御回路は、前記異常状態を検出することにより前記平滑コンデンサに蓄積された電荷に基づく電力を前記断続機構に供給する場合、前記トルク伝達を維持するように前記断続機構の駆動を制御する。この構成によれば、車両の制動の変化に基づく異常状態を検出する場合、回転電機と負荷との間のトルク伝達が維持されるように断続機構が駆動する。すなわち、その後の車両の衝突等に備えて平滑コンデンサに蓄積された電荷を事前に放電しておくことができる。これにより、車両の変化に基づく異常状態を検出する場合、その後に車両の衝突等が発生しても、その発生時点では平滑コンデンサの電荷の放電が既に開始されており、いくらかは電荷の放電を完了させることができる。したがって、車両の衝突時等の異常状態の発生時の乗員の安全性を確保することができる。
Claims (3)
- 電源と、回転電機と、前記回転電機によって回転動作される負荷と、を備え、前記回転電機と前記負荷との間のトルク伝達とトルク伝達の遮断が可能な断続機構を含む車載装置を制御する車両用制御装置において、
前記電源から入力する電力を平滑化する平滑コンデンサと、
前記平滑コンデンサによって平滑化された電力によって前記回転電機を駆動させる第1の駆動回路と、
前記平滑コンデンサによって平滑化された電力によって前記断続機構を駆動させる第2の駆動回路と、
各駆動回路を制御する制御回路と、
前記各駆動回路に対して前記電源の接続と切り離しが可能であり、前記平滑コンデンサよりも前記電源側に設けられた開閉器と、を備え、
前記制御回路は、前記各駆動回路に対して前記電源を接続しているときに、前記車載装置が搭載される車両の異常状態を検出する場合、前記開閉器を切り替えて前記各駆動回路に対して前記電源を切り離すとともに、前記平滑コンデンサに蓄積された電荷に基づく電力を前記第2の駆動回路を介して前記断続機構に供給し、前記トルク伝達を遮断するように前記断続機構の駆動を制御することを特徴とする車両用制御装置。 - 前記異常状態の指標は、車両への衝撃の変化である請求項1に記載の車両用制御装置。
- 前記制御回路は、前記異常状態を検出することにより前記トルク伝達を遮断するように前記断続機構の駆動を制御する場合、該トルク伝達を遮断した後も前記断続機構の駆動を継続可能に構成された請求項1又は2に記載の車両用制御装置。
