Description
(1)実施例1
平均サイズが50μmであるガラスフレーク(Glass Flake)を脱イオン水(D.I Water)に投入して10重量%フレーク懸濁液を製造した。次に、5%塩酸希釈液を用いて20分間前処理を施した。
実施例1と同じ工程を行うが、ニッケル無電解めっき溶液に前記処理が施されたフレークを入れ、Ni濃度が5g/Lのニッケルめっき液に80℃で10分間ニッケルめっきを施した。また、乾燥機で100℃で完全に乾燥させて無電解ニッケルめっきが施されたパール顔料を取得した。Ni濃度を5g/Lに増量させるときに還元剤および錯化剤もともに増量させた。
実施例1と同じ工程を行うが、ニッケル無電解めっき溶液に前記処理が施されたフレークを入れ、Ni濃度が10g/Lのニッケルめっき液に80℃で10分間ニッケルめっきを施した。また、乾燥機で100℃で完全に乾燥させて無電解ニッケルめっきが施されたパール顔料を取得した。Ni濃度を10g/Lに増量させるときに還元剤および錯化剤もともに増量させた。
実施例1と同じ工程を行うが、ニッケル無電解めっき溶液に前記処理が施されたフレークを入れ、Ni濃度が20g/Lのニッケルめっき液に80℃で10分間ニッケルめっきを施した。また、乾燥機で100℃で完全に乾燥させて無電解ニッケルめっきが施されたパール顔料を取得した。Ni濃度を20g/Lに増量させるときに還元剤および錯化剤もともに増量させた。
実施例1と同じ工程を行うが、懸濁液は同一であり、活性化、無電解ニッケルめっきのステップ無しに、水熱合成法でTiO2コーティングを施した。
基質としてニッケルフレーク(Nickel Flake)を使用し、無電解ニッケルめっきを施すことなく、基質自体を実験した。
パール顔料無しにアクリル樹脂を5×10cmの鉄片試験片にコーティングした。
(1)色差計測定(MINOLTA cm−512m3で測定、75degreeで測定)
各測定は、PC4%(with NC Resin)で隠ぺい率試験紙にドローダウン(Drawdown)を行った後、黒面で測定を実施した。
実施例1〜4および比較例1〜2により製造されたパール顔料試験片の電気伝導性(比抵抗)を表2に示す。
実施例1〜4および比較例1〜3により製造されたパール顔料試験片の耐食性(赤錆発生時間)を表3に示す。
− 噴射環境温度35℃、塩水濃度5%NaCl、比重1.02〜1.04、pH6.5〜7.2
− 1000時間(hr)まで行う。
Claims (7)
- (a)フレークを水に撹拌および分散させて懸濁液を形成するステップと、
(b)フレークの表面に触媒層を形成するステップと、
(c)前記触媒層が形成されたフレークの表面にめっきを施して金属層を形成するステップと、を含み、
前記(b)ステップは、
(b1)前記懸濁液にスズ化合物を投入し撹拌して、フレークの表面にスズ(Sn)を被覆するステップと、
(b2)前記(b1)ステップの結果物に脱水および水洗処理を施すステップと、
(b3)前記脱水および水洗処理が施されたフレークをパラジウム化合物溶液に投入し、フレークの表面からスズを脱落させてパラジウムが被覆されるようにするステップと、
(b4)前記(b3)ステップの結果物に脱水および水洗処理を施すステップと、を含み、
前記(b2)ステップは、前記脱水および水洗処理を2〜4回施すことを特徴とする、顔料の製造方法。 - 前記フレークは、サイズが5〜100μmである板状フレークおよび金属酸化物がコーティングされた組成物であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の顔料の製造方法。
- 前記(a)ステップは、
前記懸濁液において前記フレークの含有量が1〜20重量%になるようにすることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の顔料の製造方法。 - 前記(b4)ステップは、
前記脱水および水洗処理を2〜4回施すことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の顔料の製造方法。 - 前記触媒層はパラジウムを含み、前記金属層はニッケルを含み、
前記めっきは、無電解めっき方式で施されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の顔料の製造方法。 - 前記(c)ステップは、
(c1)次亜リン酸ナトリウムが含まれた無電解ニッケルめっき液にパラジウムを含む触媒層が形成されたフレークを投入するステップと、
(c2)70℃以上の温度で、1分以上、前記触媒層上に無電解ニッケルめっきを施すステップと、
(c3)ニッケルめっきが施されたフレークを脱水および水洗した後、乾燥するステップと、を含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の顔料の製造方法。 - 前記(c2)ステップは、
前記無電解ニッケルめっきを80〜90℃で1〜30分間施すことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の顔料の製造方法。
