Description
本実施の形態のケーブル被覆材料は、塩化ビニル系樹脂100重量部に対し、可塑剤混合物を40重量部以上100重量部以下で含有する樹脂組成物である。そして、該可塑剤混合物は、脂肪族多価カルボン酸エステルおよび芳香族多価カルボン酸エステルを含み、該脂肪族多価カルボン酸エステルは、重量平均分子量が1000以上6000以下であり、かつ該可塑剤混合物の総重量に対する含有率が40重量%以上80重量%以下であり、該芳香族多価カルボン酸エステルは、該可塑剤混合物の総重量に対する含有率が20重量%以上60重量%以下であることを特徴とする。
<塩化ビニル系樹脂>
本実施の形態の塩化ビニル系樹脂には、従来公知のものを特に限定なく使用することができる。かかる塩化ビニル系樹脂には、塩化ビニルの単独重合体、塩化ビニルの共重合体が含まれる。塩化ビニルの共重合体としては、たとえば、塩化ビニルと、エチレン、プロピレンなどのオレフィン類、塩化ビニリデン、アクリロニトリル、酢酸ビニルなどとの共重合体の他、ABS樹脂、EVA樹脂、MBS樹脂、ブチルゴム、ニトリルゴム、アクリルゴム、塩素化ポリエチレンなどに塩化ビニル単量体をグラフトしたグラフト共重合体なども挙げることができる。
本実施の形態の可塑剤混合物は、脂肪族多価カルボン酸エステルおよび芳香族多価カルボン酸エステルを含む。そして、かかる可塑剤混合物は、塩化ビニル系樹脂100重量部に対して、40重量部以上100重量部以下で含有されていることを要する。このような範囲で可塑剤混合物を含有する本実施の形態のケーブル被覆材料は柔軟性が高いとともに、加工性に優れるためケーブル加工が容易である。ここで、塩化ビニル系樹脂100重量部に対し、可塑剤混合物が40重量部未満となると十分な可塑効果が得られない。また、可塑剤混合物が100重量部を超えると、塩化ビニル系樹脂への混合性が低下するため、ケーブル加工が困難となる場合がある。なお、本実施の形態の可塑剤混合物は、塩化ビニル系樹脂100重量部に対して、40重量部以上80重量部以下で含有されていることがより好ましい。なお、ここで、「ケーブル加工」とは、ケーブルを樹脂組成物などで被覆することを示している。
本実施の形態の脂肪族多価カルボン酸エステルとは、脂肪族多価カルボン酸とアルコールまたはポリオール(以下、アルコール成分とも記す)との縮合物であり、従来公知の縮合反応により得ることができる。また、本実施の形態の脂肪族多価カルボン酸エステルは、分子内にエステル結合を複数含むポリエステルであってもよい。この場合も、従来公知の重縮合反応により得ることができる。

本実施の形態の芳香族多価カルボン酸エステルは、芳香族多価カルボン酸とアルコール成分との縮合物であり、従来公知の縮合反応により得ることができる。また、本実施の形態の芳香族多価カルボン酸エステルは、分子内にエステル結合を複数含むポリエステルであってもよい。この場合も、従来公知の重縮合反応により得ることができる。
以下、図1を参照して、本発明の実施の形態2に係る被覆ケーブルについて説明するが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではない。
以下、図2を参照して、本発明の実施の形態3に係る電子機器について説明する。図2は、実施の形態3に係る電子機器の一例である近接センサの模式的斜視図である。図2に示す近接センサ100は、検出領域内に磁界を発生させて検出対象の接近や有無を検出する誘導形の近接センサである。近接センサ100により検出される検出対象は、導電性の物体である。近接センサ100により検出される検出対象は、代表的には、鉄などの磁性金属であるが、銅やアルミニウムなどの非磁性金属であってもよい。
<被覆ケーブルの製造>
表1に示す配合のケーブル被覆材料を、押出成形機で溶融混練し、該ケーブル被覆材料で撚り線導体を被覆することにより、実施例1〜9に係る被覆ケーブルを得た。なお、実施例1〜9において、アジピン酸エステルの重量平均分子量はいずれも3000であった。また、これらの被覆ケーブルの仕様は以下のとおりである。
導体(銅線):AWG26
導体径(単線径):0.16mm
導体本数:7本
撚りピッチ:25mm±5mm
ケーブル外径:φ4.0mm±0.1mm。
<硬度評価>
以上のようにして得た実施例1〜9の被覆ケーブルのケーブル硬度を、「プラスチックのデュロメータ硬さ試験方法(JIS K 7215)」に準拠した方法により測定した。そして、測定されたshore A硬度が85以下であるものを「A」とし、shore A硬度が85を超えるものを「B」とする二段階の評価を行なった。結果を、表1の「ケーブル硬度」の欄に示す。「ケーブル硬度」の欄が「A」であるものは、「B」であるものに比較して、柔軟性に優れている。
また、実施例1〜9の被覆ケーブルの耐油性を切削油への浸漬試験によって評価した。すなわち、各被覆ケーブルを、不水溶性切削油(JIS N種クーラント)または水溶性切削油(JIS A1種クーラント(水で30倍に希釈したもの))を収容した50℃の油浴に500時間浸漬し、浸漬後の絶縁抵抗値を測定した。
実施例1〜9の「被覆ケーブルの製造」において、ケーブル被覆材料の配合を表2に示す配合とする以外は(すなわち、芳香族多価カルボン酸エステルのうち、トリメリット酸エステルをピロメリット酸エステルに変更する以外は)、実施例1〜9と同様にして、実施例10〜18に係る被覆ケーブルを得た。そして、実施例1〜9の被覆ケーブルと同様にして、ケーブル硬度および耐油性を評価した。その結果を表2に示す。
実施例1〜9の「被覆ケーブルの製造」において、ケーブル被覆材料の配合を表3に示す配合とする以外は、実施例1〜9と同様にして、実施例19〜27に係る被覆ケーブルを得た。そして、実施例1〜9の被覆ケーブルと同様にして、ケーブル硬度および耐油性を評価した。その結果を表3に示す。
実施例1〜9の「被覆ケーブルの製造」において、ケーブル被覆材料の配合を表4に示す配合とする以外は、実施例1〜9と同様にして、実施例28〜36に係る被覆ケーブルを得た。そして、実施例1〜9の被覆ケーブルと同様にして、ケーブル硬度および耐油性を評価した。その結果を表4に示す。
実施例1〜9の「被覆ケーブルの製造」において、ケーブル被覆材料の配合を表5に示す配合とする以外は、実施例1〜9と同様にして、比較例1〜7に係る被覆ケーブルを得た。そして、実施例1〜9の被覆ケーブルと同様にして、ケーブル硬度および耐油性を評価した。その結果を表5に示す。
実施例1〜9の「被覆ケーブルの製造」において、ケーブル被覆材料の配合を表6に示す配合とし、表6に示す重量平均分子量を有するアジピン酸エステルを使用する以外は、実施例1〜9と同様にして、実施例37〜39ならびに比較例8および9に係る被覆ケーブルを得た。そして、実施例1〜9の被覆ケーブルと同様にして、ケーブル硬度および耐油性を評価した。その結果を表6に示す。
Claims (3)
- 塩化ビニル系樹脂100重量部に対し、可塑剤混合物を40重量部以上80重量部以下で含有し、
前記可塑剤混合物は、脂肪族多価カルボン酸エステルおよび芳香族多価カルボン酸エステルを含み、
前記脂肪族多価カルボン酸エステルは、重量平均分子量が1000以上4000以下であり、かつ前記可塑剤混合物の総重量に対する含有率が40重量%以上70重量%以下であり、
前記芳香族多価カルボン酸エステルは、前記可塑剤混合物の総重量に対する含有率が30重量%以上60重量%以下であり、
前記脂肪族多価カルボン酸エステルは、アジピン酸エステルであり、
前記芳香族多価カルボン酸エステルは、フタル酸エステルと、ピロメリット酸エステルとを含み、
前記フタル酸エステルは、前記可塑剤混合物の総重量に対する含有率が15重量%以上30重量%以下であり、
前記ピロメリット酸エステルは、前記可塑剤混合物の総重量に対する含有率が15重量%以上30重量%以下である、ケーブル被覆材料。 - 導体と絶縁体からなる導線を、請求項1に記載のケーブル被覆材料で被覆してなる、被覆ケーブル。
- 請求項2に記載の被覆ケーブルを有する電子機器。
