Description
加工油/助材:約0〜約75phr、例えば、約5〜約40phr、

1.レオメーター
レオメーターを使用して、配合ゴムの硬化特徴を決定する。ゴム試料の硬化を測定するために使用する手順は、ASTM D 2084に従う。試料サイズは、直径30mm及び厚さ12.5mm、又は体積8cm3と同等であった。使用した装置は、Monsanto Rheometer Model MDR2000であった。
弾性率、引張強度(最大歪みにおける応力)、及び破断点伸びを、概してASTM D 412(1998)方法Bに従って測定する。加硫ゴム試験標本を、D412 B Type1ダイを使用して環形状に切断する。上述の特性に関する測定は、試験標本の元の横断面積を基準とする。加えられた力を測定するための好適なダイナモメータ及び指示又は記録システムを有する、Instron引張試験機等の把持分離の均一な速度を生成するように装備される計器を、試験標本の伸張の測定と共に使用する。弾性率(100%(M100)及び300%(M300))、引張強度(TB)、及び伸び(EB)を、ASTM D412(1998)に記載される計算に従って計算する。
屈曲ループ表面オゾン亀裂形成は、材料の耐オゾン亀裂性を見積もるのに役立つ。2.54cm×2.54cm×1.91mm〜2.54mmのストリップを、試験する材料からグレインを用いて切断する。次に、このゴムストリップを、長さ7.62cmの2つの試料に切断する。試料を、ラベル付けし、4.44cmの標線で印を付けた後、動的オゾン試験のために、各試料を中央で折り畳み、端を大型のバインダークリップを用いて合わせて固定する。次に、試料を、試験順序中に立位にあるようにロッドに取着する。
色及び光沢を、製造者の規格に従って較正したMinolta CM2600D分光計の使用によって決定する。静的オゾン試験のために、試料を、静的に引張りながら、60℃±1℃の温度で7日間、空気1億当たり100部のオゾンに曝露させる。この目的のために、オゾンボックス、OREC model 0500/DM100及びオゾンモニタ、(登録商標)OREC model O3DM100を使用する。種々の時点で、分光計測定値を取る。これらの測定値、L、a、及びbは、3つの軸を説明し、固有の色を特定する。2つの色の間のベクトル差、dEは、次のように計算され得る:
dE=√((L1−L2)2+(a1−a2)2+(b1−b2)2)
これらの実施例では、PEGM(ポリ(オキシエチレンオキシブト−2−エネジオイル))ポリエステル樹脂を含有するゴム化合物を、かかるPEGMポリエステル樹脂を有しない化合物と比較する。
実施例Aは、PEGMポリエステル樹脂を有しないタイヤ側壁用のゴム組成物を代表する対照であった。実施例B、C、及びDは、5phrのPEGMを含む組成物であった。

色及び光沢データを、上述の試験手順に従って獲得した。動的オゾン試験の結果は、表3に含まれる。静的オゾン試験の結果は、表4に含まれる。
Claims (4)
- 天然又は合成ゴムポリマーと、
無水マレイン酸又はマレイン酸と直鎖又は分枝鎖ポリオールとのコポリマーを含むポリエステル樹脂と、
劣化防止剤と、を含み、
前記劣化防止剤が、2phr〜15phrの量で存在し、ゴムの表面にブルームする劣化防止剤である、タイヤ側壁ゴム組成物。 - 前記無水マレイン酸又はマレイン酸と直鎖又は分枝鎖ポリオールとのコポリマーが、無水マレイン酸とポリエチレングリコールとのコポリマーである、請求項1に記載のタイヤ側壁ゴム組成物。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂が、0.1phr〜10phrの量で存在する、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のタイヤ側壁ゴム組成物。
- 天然又は合成ゴムポリマーを、無水マレイン酸又はマレイン酸と直鎖又は分枝鎖ポリオールとのコポリマーを含むポリエステル樹脂、及び劣化防止剤と混合する工程を含み、前記劣化防止剤はゴムの表面にブルームする劣化防止剤であり、2phr〜15phrの量で混合される、タイヤ側壁ゴム組成物を調製するための方法。
