Description
本明細書において、車両用合わせガラスの、赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムの開口領域に相当する領域を、必要に応じて赤外線透過領域という。車両用合わせガラスの、赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムの配設領域における上記赤外線透過領域以外の領域を赤外線遮蔽領域という。なお、赤外線透過領域の具体的な態様については、後述の赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムの開口領域の態様に示すとおりである。
以下、フロントガラス10Aを構成する各要素について説明する。
本発明の実施形態のフロントガラス10Aに用いるガラス基板1A、1Bの材質としては、透明な無機ガラスや有機ガラス(樹脂)が挙げられる。無機ガラスとしては通常のソーダライムガラス(ソーダライムシリケートガラスともいう)、ホウ珪酸ガラス、無アルカリガラス、石英ガラス等が特に制限なく用いられる。これらのうちでもソーダライムガラスが特に好ましい。成形法についても特に限定されないが、例えば、フロート法等により成形されたフロート板ガラスが好ましい。
フロントガラス10Aにおける1対の中間接着層2A、2Bは、ガラス基板1A、1Bの主面と同形、同寸の主面を有し、厚みが後述のとおりの平膜状の層である。この1対の中間接着層2A、2Bは、赤外線吸収・反射フィルム3を挟持しつつ1対のガラス基板1A、1Bの間に挿入されこれらを接着してフロントガラス10Aとして一体化する機能を有する。
中間接着層2A、2Bの膜厚は、赤外線吸収・反射フィルム3を挟持したものをガラス基板1A、1Bに挿入して、通常の処理によりフロントガラス10Aとして一体化できる膜厚であれば特に限定されるものではない。
図1、2に示すフロントガラス10Aにおける赤外線吸収・反射フィルム3は、赤外線反射フィルム31の車内側、すなわちフロントガラス10Aにおける車内側のガラス基板1Aおよび中間接着層2Aの側の主面の全面に赤外線吸収膜32が形成された構成である。赤外線吸収・反射フィルム3の主面は、開口領域として上辺に沿って設けられた切欠き部33を有し、それ以外の部分については、ガラス基板1A、1Bの上下左右の4辺からそれぞれc1、c2、c3、c4ずつ内側に4辺が位置するように縮小された外周形状を有するものであって、赤外線吸収・反射フィルム3の主面とガラス基板1A、1Bの主面とは略同寸である。
また、これら微粒子の結晶系に関しては通常の立方晶に限られず、必要に応じて赤外線吸収能の比較的低い六方晶ITOも使用できる。
本発明の実施形態の車両用合わせガラスは、一般的に用いられる公知の技術により製造できる。フロントガラス10Aにおいては、例えば、上記の通り車内側の中間接着層2A上に赤外線吸収・反射フィルム3を有する積層体20を作製し、その赤外線吸収・反射フィルム3上に車外側の中間接着層2Bを重ね合わせ、これを1対のガラス基板1A、1Bの間に挿入して、車内側からガラス基板1A、中間接着層2A、赤外線吸収・反射フィルム3、中間接着層2B、ガラス基板1Bの順に積層された圧着前の車両用合わせガラスである車両用合わせガラス前駆体を準備する。
ここで、フロントガラス10Aのような構成の車両用合わせガラスにおいては、赤外線吸収・反射フィルム3の開口領域である切欠き部33の外縁近傍に歪が生じる場合がある。すなわち、切欠き部33には赤外線吸収・反射フィルムが存在しないため、中間接着層2Bまたは中間接着層2Aが撓む状態となり、該切欠き部33の外縁近傍が歪んで見える場合がある。このような歪を隠蔽する目的で、本発明の車両用合わせガラスは、上記1対のガラス基板の一方のいずれかの主面上に、赤外線吸収・反射フィルムの開口領域に相当する領域、すなわち、赤外線透過領域の中央部を残してその外縁近傍を隠蔽する黒色セラミックス層を備えることが好ましい。開口領域が赤外線吸収・反射フィルムの外周を切欠くように形成された切欠き部の場合、切欠き部の外縁とは、例えば、コの字型に切欠かれた切欠き部においては、底辺および側辺と切欠かれた辺を含む4辺で構成される矩形を外縁という。

- 互いに同形、同寸の主面を有する1対のガラス基板と、
前記ガラス基板の間に設けられた前記ガラス基板の主面と同形、同寸の主面を有する1対の中間接着層と、
前記中間接着層の間に設けられた、一方の主面上に赤外線吸収膜が形成されてなる赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムであって、前記ガラス基板の主面と略同寸の主面を有し、かつ開口領域を備える赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムと、
を有する車両用合わせガラスであって、
前記開口領域は、前記赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムの外周を切欠く形に設けられ、
前記赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムは、その外周における前記切欠かれて設けられた開口領域を有する辺の全体が前記ガラス基板の外周より内側に位置する
車両用合わせガラス。 - 前記開口領域が赤外線通信用に設けられた請求項1に記載の車両用合わせガラス。
- さらに、前記1対のガラス基板の一方のいずれかの主面上に、前記赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムの開口領域に相当する領域の中央部を残してその外縁近傍を隠蔽する黒色セラミックス層を備える請求項1または2記載の車両用合わせガラス。
- 前記赤外線吸収膜は赤外線吸収剤を含有し、前記赤外線吸収剤が、フタロシアニン系色素、錫ドープ酸化インジウム、アンチモンドープ酸化錫、および複合タングステン酸化物の少なくとも1種を含む請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用合わせガラス。
- 前記赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムの厚みが25〜200μmである請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の車両用合わせガラス。
- 前記黒色セラミックス層が前記赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムの赤外線反射フィルム側に設けられたガラス基板の前記中間接着層側の主面に形成された請求項3に記載の車両用合わせガラス。
- 前記赤外線吸収膜付き赤外線反射フィルムを構成する赤外線反射フィルムは、支持フィルムの一方の主面に赤外線反射膜が配設された赤外線反射フィルムであり、
