Claims (4)
- ノズルを所定の位置まで下降させてその先端部に形成された吐出口から吐出した粘性体を塗布対象物に塗布する粘性体塗布方法であって、
試し塗布位置まで前記ノズルを下降させて塗布ステージ上に設けられた試し塗布面に粘性体を試し塗布し、試し塗布を終えて前記試し塗布位置から上昇を開始した後の前記ノズルに付着する粘性体の量を検出する処理を複数回実行する粘性体付着量検出工程と、
前記複数回分の検出した前記ノズルに付着する粘性体の量の最大値と最小値との差異が予め定めた閾値を超えているかを判断する付着量差異判断工程と、
前記閾値を超えていないと判断した場合、前記ノズルを前記塗布対象物に対して前記所定の位置まで下降させた際の前記ノズルと前記塗布対象物の塗布面との間隔が、前記ノズルを前記試し塗布位置まで下降させた際の前記ノズルと前記試し塗布面との間隔と一致するよう前記塗布対象物に対する前記ノズルの下降位置を設定するノズル下降位置設定工程とを含むことを特徴とする粘性体塗布方法。 - 前記閾値を超えていると判断した場合、前記試し塗布位置より所定量だけ高い位置を新しい試し塗布位置として前記粘性体付着量検出工程及び付着量差異判断工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の粘性体塗布方法。
- ノズルを所定の位置まで下降させてその先端部に形成された吐出口から吐出した粘性体を塗布対象物に塗布する粘性体塗布装置であって、
粘性体を試し塗布するための塗布ステージと、
試し塗布位置まで前記ノズルを下降させて前記塗布ステージ上に設けられた試し塗布面に粘性体を試し塗布し、試し塗布を終えて前記試し塗布位置から上昇を開始した後の前記ノズルに付着する粘性体の量を検出する粘性体付着量検出手段と、
試し塗布を複数回実行することによって検出した前記ノズルに付着する粘性体の量の最大値と最小値との差異が予め定めた閾値を超えているかを判断する粘性体付着量差異判断手段と、
前記粘性体付着量差異判断手段において前記閾値を超えていないと判断した場合、前記ノズルを前記塗布対象物に対して前記所定の位置まで下降させた際の前記ノズルと前記塗布対象物の塗布面との間隔が、前記ノズルを前記試し塗布位置まで下降させた際の前記ノズルと前記試し塗布面との間隔と一致するよう前記塗布対象物に対する前記ノズルの下降位置を設定するノズル下降位置設定手段を備えたことを特徴とする粘性体塗布装置。 - 前記粘性体付着量差異判断手段において前記閾値を超えていると判断した場合、前記試し塗布位置より所定量だけ高い位置を新しい試し塗布位置として設定することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の粘性体塗布装置。
