Description
Claims (7)
- 移動手段に備えられるヘッドライト装置であって、
少なくとも1つの光源を含み、前記移動手段の前方に光を発生する光源部と、
前記光源部に含まれた光源に駆動電流を供給する光源駆動部と、
前記移動手段の走行環境に対する情報を受信し、前記受信された走行環境に対する情報を用いて前記光源部の駆動条件を決定する制御部と、を含み、
前記光源部は、複数個の光源を含み、
前記駆動条件は、
前記複数個の光源のうち、オン状態で動作する光源の数と、前記オン状態で動作する光源の明るさに対応する駆動電流値とを含み、
前記制御部は、
前記走行環境に応じて前記オン状態で動作する光源の数と、前記オン状態で動作する光源の明るさに対応する駆動電流値を決定し、
前記制御部は、
前記受信された走行環境に対する情報が変更されて前記光源の明るさを減少させる場合に、一定時間の間に前記変更される前の走行環境に応じた以前明るさに対応する駆動電流値を維持させ、前記一定時間が経過した後に前記変更された走行環境に対応する明るさで前記光源の明るさを減少させ、
前記制御部は、
前記受信された走行環境に対する情報が変更されて前記オン状態で動作する光源の数が減少する場合、前記オン状態で動作する光源のうち、オフ状態に変更される光源を決定し、
前記決定された光源をすぐにオフさせず、前記決定された光源の明るさを徐々に減少させて、最終的に前記決定された光源をオン状態からオフ状態に変更することを特徴とする、ヘッドライト装置。 - 前記移動手段の走行環境に対する情報は、
前記移動手段の走行速度に対応する速度情報及び前記移動手段の周辺照度に対応する照度情報のうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
前記駆動電流値は、
前記走行速度に比例したり、前記周辺照度に反比例して変化することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のヘッドライト装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記光源の以前明るさと現在明るさとの差値が既設定された基準値を超過する場合に、前記以前明るさに対応する第1駆動電流値と現在明るさに対応する第2駆動電流値との間に存在する少なくとも1つの第3駆動電流値を用いて前記光源の明るさを徐々に変化させることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のヘッドライト装置。 - 前記オン状態で動作する光源の数は、
前記走行速度に比例したり、前記周辺照度に反比例して増減することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のヘッドライト装置。 - 少なくとも複数個の光源を含むヘッドライト装置の制御方法であって、
前記移動手段の走行環境に対する情報を受信するステップと、
前記受信された走行環境に対する情報を用いて前記複数個の光源のうち、オン状態で動作する光源の数及び前記オン状態で動作する光源の明るさを含む光源の駆動条件を決定するステップと、
前記決まった駆動条件を用いて前記オン状態で動作する光源を動作させるステップと、
前記走行環境に対する情報が変更されると、前記変更された情報に応じて前記駆動条件を変更するステップと、を含み、
前記変更するステップは、
前記受信された走行環境に対する情報が変更されて前記光源の明るさを減少させる場合に、一定時間の間に前記変更される前の走行環境に応じた前記光源の以前明るさを維持させ、前記一定時間が経過した後に前記変更された走行環境に対応する明るさで前記光源の明るさを減少させるステップと、
前記受信された走行環境に対する情報が変更されて前記オン状態で動作する光源の数が減少する場合、前記オン状態で動作する光源のうち、オフ状態に変更される光源を決定し、前記決定された光源をすぐにオフさせず、前記決定された光源の明るさを徐々に減少させて、最終的に前記決定された光源をオン状態からオフ状態に変更するステップと、を含むことを特徴とする、ヘッドライト装置の制御方法。 - 前記受信するステップは、
前記移動手段の走行速度に対応する速度情報及び前記移動手段の周辺照度に対応する照度情報のうち、少なくとも1つを受信するステップを含み、
前記オン状態で動作する光源の数及び前記オン状態で動作する光源の明るさは、
前記走行速度に比例したり、前記周辺照度に反比例して変化することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のヘッドライト装置の制御方法。 - 前記光源を動作させるステップは、
前記決まった光源の現在明るさと前記光源の以前明るさとの差値が既設定された基準値を超過するか否かを判断するステップと、
前記基準値を超過すれば、前記決まった光源の現在明るさと以前明るさとの間に存在する明るさで前記光源を第1動作させるステップと、
前記決まった光源の現在明るさで前記光源を第2動作させて、前記光源の明るさを徐々に変化させるステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項5または6に記載のヘッドライト装置の制御方法。
