Description
ベルトの曲げ調整は、2つの22−溝プーリを2地点に配置し3600rpmで駆動させ、静荷重165ポンドの張力で168時間および336時間かけて行った。曲げ調整の後(即ち、「調整後」)の保持された引張強さを表2に報告している。後方曲げ試験では、ベルトを、ベルト上の同一箇所で、所定の直径のパイプ周りに後方に3回曲げた後、2つのプーリ間の範囲内で損傷箇所の張力を調べた。後方屈曲後の保持された引張力は、表2にも報告されている。静的心線接着試験(ベルトから長さの短い2本の心線を引き抜く)およびベルトの静的歯部せん断試験では、比較例と2と実施例1との間に有意差は見られなかった。最後に、動力計装置上で動的ベルト試験を行い(「Dyno試験」)、ベルト耐荷重、動的接着性、耐久性等を評価した。Dyno試験では、幅18mm、歯数140の8mmのGT(登録商標)形ベルトを2つの24−溝プーリ上で19馬力および2000rpmで稼働させ、室温にて213ポンドの静荷重の張力を加えた。有意に異なる結果を示すことが知られている2つの異なる試験機を用いた。各結果から求めた2本のベルトの寿命の平均値は、表2に報告された。
Claims (3)
- ポリウレタンプレポリマーを含み、前記ポリウレタンプレポリマーがパラ−フェニレンジイソシアネートとポリカプロラクトンジオール及びポリカプロラクトントリオールの混合物との反応生成物を含む接着剤組成物を用いて、可撓性エラストマー製品を補強するために用いる繊維束を処理する方法であって、
前記接着剤組成物を溶媒に溶解して浸漬液を形成し、
前記繊維束を前記浸漬液に浸漬し、
前記浸漬した繊維束を乾燥させて前記溶媒を除去し、そして
前記乾燥させた繊維束を水に浸漬することにより、
前記ポリウレタンプレポリマーと水との反応生成物を提供することを含む、処理方法。 - 前記ポリウレタンプレポリマーが溶媒に10〜50重量%の濃度で溶解される、請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 前記ポリウレタンプレポリマーが溶媒に20〜40重量%の濃度で溶解される、請求項1に記載の処理方法。
