Claims (17)
- 式Iの化合物であって、
X2は、C−R2及びNからなる群から選択され;
X3は、C−R3及びNからなる群から選択され;
X4は、C−R4及びNからなる群から選択され;
X5は、C−R5及びNからなる群から選択され;
X6は、C−R6及びNからなる群から選択され;
X7は、C−R7及びNからなる群から選択され;
X8は、C−R8及びNからなる群から選択され;
基A、B、C、及びDは、互いにC−N結合を介して結合しており;
基A、B、C、及びDの少なくとも1つは、カルバゾールではなく;
式中、基Xは、更に置換されていてもよいアリール又はヘテロアリールリンカーであり;
基Y及び基Xは、基Y中の式IIの9位のNと基XのCとの間でC−N結合を介して結合しており;
R1、R2、R3、R4、R5、R6、R7、及びR8は、それぞれ独立して、水素、重水素、ハライド、アルキル、シクロアルキル、ヘテロアルキル、アリールアルキル、アルコキシ、アリールオキシ、アミノ、シリル、アルケニル、シクロアルケニル、ヘテロアルケニル、アルキニル、アリール、ヘテロアリール、アシル、カルボニル、カルボン酸、エステル、ニトリル、イソニトリル、スルファニル、スルフィニル、スルフォニル、ホスフィノ及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され;
式中、基Zは、更に置換されていてもよい、ジベンゾチオフェン、ジベンゾフラン、ジベンゾセレノフェン、アザ−ジベンゾチオフェン、アザ−ジベンゾフラン、及びアザ−ジベンゾセレノフェンからなる群(ただし、2、3−ジアザジベンゾフランを除く)から選択されることを特徴とする化合物。 - Xが下記の構造を有する請求項1に記載の化合物。
R9は、モノ、ジ、トリ、又はテトラ置換を表し;
R9は、独立して、水素、重水素、ハライド、アルキル、シクロアルキル、ヘテロアルキル、アリールアルキル、アルコキシ、アリールオキシ、アミノ、シリル、アルケニル、シクロアルケニル、ヘテロアルケニル、アルキニル、アリール、ヘテロアリール、アシル、カルボニル、カルボン酸、エステル、ニトリル、イソニトリル、スルファニル、スルフィニル、スルフォニル、ホスフィノ及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され;
p、q、r、及びsは、それぞれ、0、1、2、3、又は4であり;
p+q+r+sは、少なくとも1である。) - A、B、C、及びDが3位又は6位の炭素と9位の窒素との間の結合を介して互いに結合している請求項1に記載の化合物。
- Zが2−ジベンゾチオフェニル、4−ジベンゾチオフェニル、2−ジベンゾフラニル、又は4−ジベンゾフラニルである請求項1に記載の化合物。
- A、B、C、及びDがカルバゾールではない請求項1に記載の化合物。
- R1、R2、R3、R4、R5、R6、R7、及びR8が、独立して、フェニル、ビフェニル、トリフェニル、ターフェニル、ナフタレン、フェナレン、フェナントレン、フルオレン、クリセン、ジベンゾチオフェン、ジベンゾフラン、ベンゾフラン、ベンゾチオフェン、ピラゾール、イミダゾール、トリアゾール、オキサゾール、チアゾール、オキサジアゾール、オキサトリアゾール、ジオキサゾール、チアジアゾール、ピリジン、ピリダジン、ピリミジン、ピラジン、トリアジン、インドール、アザインドール、ベンズイミダゾール、インダゾール、ベンゾオキサゾール、ベンゾイソオキサゾール、ベンゾチアゾール、キノリン、イソキノリン、シンノリン、キナゾリン、キノキサリン、ナフチリジン、フタラジン、プテリジン、キサンテン、フェノチアジン、フェノキサジン、ベンゾフロピリジン、フロジピリジン、ベンゾチエノピリジン、及びチエノジピリジンからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の化合物。
- A、B、C、及びDが、独立して、下記からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の化合物。
- 下記からなる群から選択される請求項7に記載の化合物。
- アノードと、
カソードと、
前記アノードと前記カソードとの間に配置された第1の有機層とを含む有機発光デバイスを含む第1のデバイスであって、前記第1の有機層が、下記の式Iの化合物であって、
X2は、C−R2及びNからなる群から選択され;
X3は、C−R3及びNからなる群から選択され;
X4は、C−R4及びNからなる群から選択され;
X5は、C−R5及びNからなる群から選択され;
X6は、C−R6及びNからなる群から選択され;
X7は、C−R7及びNからなる群から選択され;
X8は、C−R8及びNからなる群から選択され;
基A、B、C、及びDは、互いにC−N結合を介して結合しており;
基A、B、C、及びDの少なくとも1つは、カルバゾールではなく;
式中、基Xは、更に置換されていてもよいアリール又はヘテロアリールリンカーであり;
基Y及び基Xは、基Y中の式IIの9位のNと基XのCとの間でC−N結合を介して結合しており;
R’、R’’、R1、R2、R3、R4、R5、R6、R7、及びR8は、それぞれ独立して、水素、重水素、ハライド、アルキル、シクロアルキル、ヘテロアルキル、アリールアルキル、アルコキシ、アリールオキシ、アミノ、シリル、アルケニル、シクロアルケニル、ヘテロアルケニル、アルキニル、アリール、ヘテロアリール、アシル、カルボニル、カルボン酸、エステル、ニトリル、イソニトリル、スルファニル、スルフィニル、スルフォニル、ホスフィノ及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され;
式中、基Zは、更に置換されていてもよい、ジベンゾチオフェン、ジベンゾフラン、ジベンゾセレノフェン、アザ−ジベンゾチオフェン、アザ−ジベンゾフラン、及びアザ−ジベンゾセレノフェンからなる群(ただし、2、3−ジアザジベンゾフランを除く)から選択される化合物を含むことを特徴とする第1のデバイス。 - 第1の有機層が発光層であり、式Iの化合物がホストである請求項9に記載の第1のデバイス。
- 有機層が発光化合物を更に含む請求項10に記載の第1のデバイス。
- 発光化合物が下記からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの配位子を有する遷移金属錯体である請求項11に記載の第1のデバイス。
Ra、Rb、及びRcは、独立して、水素、重水素、ハライド、アルキル、シクロアルキル、ヘテロアルキル、アリールアルキル、アルコキシ、アリールオキシ、アミノ、シリル、アルケニル、シクロアルケニル、ヘテロアルケニル、アルキニル、アリール、ヘテロアリール、アシル、カルボニル、カルボン酸、エステル、ニトリル、イソニトリル、スルファニル、スルフィニル、スルフォニル、ホスフィノ及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され;
Ra、Rb、及びRcの2つの隣接する置換基が結合して縮合環を形成していてもよい。) - 非発光層である第2の有機層を更に含み、式Iの化合物が前記第2の有機層中の材料である請求項9に記載の第1のデバイス。
- 第2の有機層が電子輸送層であり、式Iの化合物が前記第2の有機層中の電子輸送材料である請求項13に記載の第1のデバイス。
- 第2の有機層がブロッキング層であり、式Iの化合物が前記第2の有機層中のブロッキング材料である請求項13に記載の第1のデバイス。
- 有機発光デバイスである請求項9に記載の第1のデバイス。
- 消費者製品である請求項9に記載の第1のデバイス。
