Claims (25)
- 所定形状の水平断面を有して長さ方向に延びたケーブル型二次電池であって、
電解質を含むリチウムイオン供給コア部;
前記リチウムイオン供給コア部の外面を囲んで形成された開放構造の内部電極であり、開放構造の内部集電体と、前記内部集電体の表面に形成された内部電極活物質層と、前記内部電極活物質層の外面に形成された電解質吸収層とを備える内部電極;
前記内部電極の外面を囲んで形成され、電極の短絡を防止する分離層;並びに
前記分離層の外面を囲んで形成され、外部電極活物質層及び外部集電体を備える外部電極;を含み、
前記電解質は、非水電解液またはゲル型高分子電解質であり、
前記開放構造の内部集電体が、巻き取られたワイヤ型集電体であるケーブル型二次電池。 - 前記分離層が、電解質層またはセパレータであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記電解質層が、ポリエチレンオキサイド(PEO)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン‐ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(PVdF‐HFP)、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、ポリアクリロニトリル(PAN)またはポリビニルアセテート(PVAc)を使用したゲル型高分子電解質;および、PEO、ポリプロピレンオキシド(PPO)、ポリエーテルイミン(PEI)、ポリエチレンスルフィド(PES)またはポリビニルアセテート(PVAc)を使用した固体電解質;から選択された電解質を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記電解質層が、リチウム塩をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記リチウム塩が、LiCl、LiBr、LiI、LiClO4、LiBF4、LiB10Cl10、LiPF6、LiCF3SO3、LiCF3CO2、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiAlCl4、CH3SO3Li、CF3SO3Li、(CF3SO2)2NLi、クロロほう酸リチウム、低級脂肪族カルボン酸リチウム、及びテトラフェニルホウ酸リチウムから選択された1種または2種以上であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記セパレータが、エチレン単独重合体、プロピレン単独重合体、エチレン‐ブテン共重合体、エチレン‐ヘキセン共重合体及びエチレン‐メタクリレート共重合体からなる群より選択されたポリオレフィン系高分子から製造された多孔性基材;ポリエステル、ポリアセタール、ポリアミド、ポリカーボネート、ポリイミド、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリフェニレンオキサイド、ポリフェニレンスルファイド及びポリエチレンナフタレンからなる群から選択された高分子から製造された多孔性基材;または、無機物粒子とバインダー高分子との混合物から形成された多孔性基材であることを特徴とする請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 所定形状の水平断面を有して長さ方向に延びたケーブル型二次電池であって、
電解質を含むリチウムイオン供給コア部;
前記リチウムイオン供給コア部の外面を囲んで形成された開放構造の内部電極であり、開放構造の内部集電体と、前記内部集電体の表面に形成された内部電極活物質層と、前記内部電極活物質層の外面に形成された電解質吸収層とを備える内部電極;並びに
前記内部電極の外面を囲んで形成され、外部電極活物質層及び外部集電体を備える外部電極;を含み、
前記電解質は、非水電解液またはゲル型高分子電解質であり、
前記開放構造の内部集電体が、巻き取られたワイヤ型集電体であるケーブル型二次電池。 - 前記外部電極において、
前記外部電極活物質層が、前記分離層の外面を囲んで形成され、かつ前記外部集電体が、前記外部電極活物質層の外面を囲んで形成されるか;
前記外部集電体が、前記分離層の外面を囲んで形成され、かつ前記外部電極活物質層が、前記外部集電体の外面を囲んで形成されるか;
前記外部集電体が、前記分離層の外面を囲んで形成され、かつ前記外部電極活物質層が、前記外部集電体の外面を包み、前記分離層と接するように形成されるか;または、
前記外部電極活物質層が、前記分離層の外面を囲んで形成され、かつ前記外部集電体が、前記外部電極活物質層内に被覆され、前記分離層の外面を離隔した状態で囲んで形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。 - 前記外部電極において、前記外部電極活物質層が、前記電解質吸収層の外面を囲んで形成され、かつ前記外部集電体が、前記外部電極活物質層の外面を囲んで形成されるか;
前記外部集電体が、前記電解質吸収層の外面を囲んで形成され、かつ前記外部電極活物質層が、前記外部集電体の外面を囲んで形成されるか;
前記外部集電体が、前記電解質吸収層の外面を囲んで形成され、かつ前記外部電極活物質層が、前記外部集電体の外面を包み、前記吸収層と接するように形成されるか;または、
前記外部電極活物質層が、前記電解質吸収層の外面を囲んで形成され、かつ前記外部集電体が、前記外部電極活物質層内に被覆され、前記電解質吸収層の外面を離隔した状態で囲んで形成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のケーブル型二次電池。 - 前記外部集電体が、パイプ型集電体、巻き取られたワイヤ型集電体、巻き取られたシート型集電体、またはメッシュ型集電体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記内部集電体が、ステンレススチール、アルミニウム、ニッケル、チタン、焼成炭素、もしくは銅;カーボン、ニッケル、チタンもしくは銀で表面処理されたステンレススチール;アルミニウム‐カドミウム合金;導電材で表面処理された非伝導性高分子;または、伝導性高分子から製造されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記導電材が、ポリアセチレン、ポリアニリン、ポリピロール、ポリチオフェン、ポリ窒化硫黄、酸化インジウムスズ(ITO)、銀、パラジウム、及びニッケルから選択された1種または2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記伝導性高分子が、ポリアセチレン、ポリアニリン、ポリピロール、ポリチオフェン、及びポリ窒化硫黄から選択された1種または2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記外部集電体が、ステンレススチール、アルミニウム、ニッケル、チタン、焼成炭素、もしくは銅;カーボン、ニッケル、チタンもしくは銀で表面処理されたステンレススチール;アルミニウム‐カドミウム合金;導電材で表面処理された非伝導性高分子;伝導性高分子;Ni、Al、Au、Ag、Al、Pd/Ag、Cr、Ta、Cu、BaもしくはITOの金属粉末を含む金属ペースト;または、黒鉛、カーボンブラックもしくは炭素ナノチューブの炭素粉末を含む炭素ペーストから製造されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記電解質が、エチレンカーボネート(EC)、プロピレンカーボネート(PC)、ブチレンカーボネート(BC)、ビニレンカーボネート(VC)、ジエチルカーボネート(DEC)、ジメチルカーボネート(DMC)、エチルメチルカーボネート(EMC)、メチルホルメート(MF)、γ‐ブチロラクトン(γ−BL)、スルホラン、メチルアセテート(MA)またはメチルプロピオネート(MP)を使用した非水電解液;および、ポリエチレンオキサイド(PEO)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン‐ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(PVdF‐HFP)、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、ポリアクリロニトリル(PAN)またはポリビニルアセテート(PVAc)を使用したゲル型高分子電解質;から選択された電解質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記電解質が、リチウム塩をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記リチウム塩が、LiCl、LiBr、LiI、LiClO4、LiBF4、LiB10Cl10、LiPF6、LiCF3SO3、LiCF3CO2、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiAlCl4、CH3SO3Li、CF3SO3Li、(CF3SO2)2NLi、クロロほう酸リチウム、低級脂肪族カルボン酸リチウム、及びテトラフェニルホウ酸リチウムから選択された1種または2種以上であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記内部電極が、負極であり、前記外部電極が正極であるか、または、前記内部電極が、正極であり、前記外部電極が、負極であることを特徴とする請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記内部電極が負極であり、前記外部電極が正極である場合、前記内部電極活物質層は、天然黒鉛、人造黒鉛、もしくは炭素質材料;リチウム含有チタン複合酸化物(LTO)、Si、Sn、Li、Zn、Mg、Cd、Ce、NiもしくはFeを含む金属類(Me);前記金属類の合金類;前記金属類の酸化物(MeOx);ならびに前記金属類と炭素との複合体からなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの活物質またはこれらのうち2種以上の混合物を含み、
前記外部電極活物質層は、LiCoO2、LiNiO2、LiMn2O4、LiCoPO4、LiFePO4、及びLiNi1-x-y-zCoxM1yM2zO2(M1及びM2は互いに独立してAl、Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、V、Cr、Ti、W、Ta、Mg及びMoからなる群より選択され、x、y及びzは互いに独立した酸化物組成元素の原子分率であって、0≦x<0.5、0≦y<0.5、0≦z<0.5、0<x+y+z≦1である)からなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの活物質またはこれらのうち2種以上の混合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。 - 前記内部電極が正極であり、前記外部電極が負極である場合、前記内部電極活物質層は、LiCoO2、LiNiO2、LiMn2O4、LiCoPO4、LiFePO4、及びLiNi1-x-y-zCoxM1yM2zO2(M1及びM2は互いに独立してAl、Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、V、Cr、Ti、W、Ta、Mg及びMoからなる群より選択され、x、y及びzは互いに独立した酸化物組成元素の原子分率であって、0≦x<0.5、0≦y<0.5、0≦z<0.5、0<x+y+z≦1である)からなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの活物質またはこれらのうち2種以上の混合物を含み、
前記外部電極活物質層は、天然黒鉛、人造黒鉛、もしくは炭素質材料;リチウム含有チタン複合酸化物(LTO)、Si、Sn、Li、Zn、Mg、Cd、Ce、NiもしくはFeを含む金属類(Me);前記金属類の合金類;前記金属類の酸化物(MeOx);及び前記金属類と炭素との複合体からなる群から選択されたいずれか1つの活物質またはこれらのうち2種以上の混合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。 - 前記電解質吸収層が、ポリエチレンオキサイド(PEO)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン‐ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(PVdF‐HFP)、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、ポリアクリロニトリル(PAN)またはポリビニルアセテート(PVAc)を使用したゲル型高分子電解質;および、PEO、ポリプロピレンオキシド(PPO)、ポリエーテルイミン(PEI)、ポリエチレンスルフィド(PES)またはポリビニルアセテート(PVAc)を使用した固体電解質;から選択された高分子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記電解質吸収層が、リチウム塩をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜21のいずれか一項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記リチウム塩が、LiCl、LiBr、LiI、LiClO4、LiBF4、LiB10Cl10、LiPF6、LiCF3SO3、LiCF3CO2、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiAlCl4、CH3SO3Li、CF3SO3Li、(CF3SO2)2NLi、クロロほう酸リチウム、低級脂肪族カルボン酸リチウム、及びテトラフェニルホウ酸リチウムから選択された1種または2種以上であることを特徴とする請求項22に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 所定形状の水平断面を有して長さ方向に延びたケーブル型二次電池であって、
開放構造の内部集電体と、前記内部集電体の表面を囲んで形成された内部電極活物質層と、前記内部電極活物質層の外面に形成された電解質吸収層とを備える内部電極が2以上互いに平行に配置され、
この2以上の内部電極の外面を一緒に囲んで形成され、電極の短絡を防止する分離層を有し、
前記分離層の外面を囲んで形成され、外部電極活物質層及び外部集電体を備える外部電極を有し、
前記内部電極は解放構造であり、
前記内部電極は、電解質を含むリチウムイオン供給コア部の外面を囲んで形成されており、
前記電解質は、非水電解液またはゲル型高分子電解質であり、
前記開放構造の内部集電体が、巻き取られたワイヤ型集電体またはメッシュ型集電体であるケーブル型二次電池。 - 所定形状の水平断面を有して長さ方向に延びたケーブル型二次電池であって、
開放構造の内部集電体と、前記内部集電体の表面に形成された内部電極活物質層と、前記内部電極活物質層の外面に形成された電解質吸収層とを備える内部電極が2以上互いに平行に配置され、
この2以上の内部電極の外面を一緒に囲んで形成され、外部電極活物質層及び外部集電体を備える外部電極を有し、
前記内部電極は解放構造であり、
前記内部電極は、電解質を含むリチウムイオン供給コア部の外面を囲んで形成されており、
前記電解質は、非水電解液またはゲル型高分子電解質であり、
前記開放構造の内部集電体が、巻き取られたワイヤ型集電体またはメッシュ型集電体であるケーブル型二次電池。
