Claims (10)
- 加熱チェンバー内の喫煙材を加熱するように構成された加熱チェンバーを含む装置であって、加熱チェンバーの内部と外部の間で気体流が流れるようにする第1の設定で動作可能であり、かつ、加熱チェンバーを密閉封止することによって気体流の流れを妨げる第2の設定で動作可能であり、加熱チェンバーは入り口および出口を含み、装置が第1の設定にある状態では前記入り口および出口が開き前記入り口および出口を介して気体流が流れ、装置が第2の設定にある状態では前記入り口および出口が閉じて加熱チェンバーが密閉封止され前記入り口および出口を介して気体流の流れを妨げ、
加熱チェンバー内で喫煙材を燃焼させずに喫煙材を加熱し、喫煙材の少なくとも1つの成分を揮発させるように構成されているヒーター、
マウスピース、
マウスピースでパフが生じたことを検知し、パフを示す信号を送るように構成されたパフセンサー、
マウスピースでのパフを示す信号に応じて入り口および/または出口を開き、パフが終わったことに応じて入り口および/または出口を閉じるように構成されたコントローラーを含む装置。 - 第1の設定において少なくとも1つの揮発させた煙成分は、吸引のために加熱チェンバーから流れ出て、第2の設定において少なくとも1つの揮発させた煙成分を加熱チェンバー内で封止することを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 入り口は、パフを示すパフセンサーからの信号に応じて開き、パフの終了に応じて密閉封止するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の装置。
- 入り口は、第1の設定で加熱チェンバー内に気体流が流れるようにし、第2の設定で加熱チェンバー内に気体流が流れるのを妨げるように構成された一方向弁を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3いずれか1項記載の装置。
- 入り口は、加熱チェンバーを断熱するように構成された真空断熱材に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4いずれか1項記載の装置。
- 出口は、パフを示すパフセンサーからの信号に応じて開き、パフの終了に応じて密閉封止するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5いずれか1項記載の装置。
- 出口は、第1の設定で加熱チェンバー内に気体流が流れるようにし、第2の設定で加熱チェンバー内に気体流が流れるのを妨げるように構成された一方向弁を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至6いずれか1項記載の装置。
- 出口は、加熱チェンバーを断熱するように構成された真空断熱材に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7いずれか1項記載の装置。
- さらに、喫煙材を圧縮するように構成されたコンプレッサーおよび喫煙材を膨張させるように構成された膨張器を含む請求項1乃至8いずれか1項記載の装置。
- 密閉封止可能な加熱チェンバー内で喫煙材を加熱する方法であって、この方法は、
加熱チェンバー内で喫煙材を燃焼させずに喫煙材を加熱し、喫煙材の少なくとも1つの成分を揮発させる工程と、
マウスピースでパフが生じたことを検知し、パフを示す信号を送る工程と、
マウスピースでのパフを示す信号に応じて加熱チェンバーの入り口および/または出口を開き、入り口および出口を介して気体流が流れるように構成されたコントローラーを使用して、密閉封止できる加熱チェンバーの内部と外部の間で気体流が流れるようにする第1の設定で操作する工程と、
パフが終わったことに応じて加熱チェンバーの入り口および/または出口を閉じ、入り口および出口を介して気体流を妨げるように構成されたコントローラーを使用して、加熱チェンバーを密閉封止することによって気体流の流れを妨げる第2の設定で操作する工程とを含む方法。
