Description
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ16×6.5JJのホイールに組み付けて空気圧を210kPaとして排気量2000ccの試験車両(前輪駆動車)に装着し、氷温が−5℃〜0℃の範囲にある氷路面からなるテストコースにおいて、速度100km/hでの走行状態からブレーキを掛けて車両が停止するまでの制動距離を測定した。評価結果は、測定値の逆数を用い、従来例1を100とする指数値にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど制動距離が短く氷上制動性能が優れていることを意味する。

Claims (8)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備えた空気入りタイヤにおいて、前記トレッド部にタイヤ周方向に延長する複数本の排水溝を設け、これら排水溝により陸部を区画すると共に、該陸部に始点から終点までの旋回角度が90°以上360°未満となるようにループ状に形成された複数本の細溝を同心状に配置し、これら細溝の少なくとも一端を共通の排水溝に開口させ、前記陸部に前記細溝よりも溝幅が広いループ溝を該細溝に沿って形成し、該ループ溝の両端部を前記共通の排水溝に開口させ、前記ループ溝を前記共通の排水溝よりも浅くし、かつ前記細溝に枝分かれ部を設けたことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記細溝の旋回角度が120°以上240°以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記排水溝がタイヤ周方向に蛇行しながら延長することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記細溝の溝幅を0.3mm〜2.0mmとしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記細溝の溝深さを2.0mm以上かつ前記排水溝の溝深さ以下としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記細溝の相互間隔を3.0mm〜10mmとしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記細溝の単位面積当たりの総長さを0.05mm/mm2〜0.5mm/mm2としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記細溝のうち少なくとも一部の細溝については両端を前記共通の排水溝に開口させたことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
