Description
本発明は、ムチン糖タンパク質(MUC-1)ベース製剤を用いた、癌、特に非小細胞性肺癌および前立腺癌をもつ個体の処置に関する。いくつかの例では、MUC-1ベース製剤はBLP25リポソームワクチンである。
本出願は、2004年4月1日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/558,139号および2004年6月4日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/576,804号の優先権を主張し、両出願の開示全体が、参照として本明細書に具体的に組み入れられる。
肺ガンは、北米では男女両方にとって主要な癌関連死亡原因である。2004年には、米国内で約174,000人(男性54%、女性46%)が新たに肺癌と診断された。2004年には、米国のみで、約160,000人がこの疾患により死亡した。
本発明は、MUC-1ベース製剤を提供し、かつそのようなMUC-1ベース製剤を用いてNSCLCまたは前立腺癌のような癌に罹った個体を処置するための方法を提供する。本発明はまた、本明細書に記載されているMUC-1ベース製剤を用いた、NSCLCおよび前立腺癌以外のその他の癌の処置も包含する。
一つの態様では、MUC-1ベース製剤は、一定量のMUC-1リポペプチドBLP25および一定量のアジュバントを含む。このような製剤は、本明細書ではBLPリポソームワクチン(「L-BLP25」)と呼び、これは液剤であっても凍結乾燥製剤であってもよい。例えば、製剤またはワクチンは、単一投与量に約1000μgのMUC-1リポペプチドBLP25と約500μgのリピドAとを含有できる。
SEQ ID NO:1〜8のいずれか一つに示すMUC-1コアリピート配列に替わるものとして、本発明の製剤はこれらMUC-1コアリピートの相同体または変異体を組み入れてもよい。それゆえに本発明は、SEQ ID NO:1〜8のいずれかに示すアミノ酸配列に類似するが同一ではない配列を有するMUC-1コアリピートの使用を包含する。従って、本発明は、SEQ ID NO:1〜8のいずれかの配列と比較して、99%、98%、97%、96%、95%、94%、93%、92%、91%、90%、89%、88%、87%、86%、85%、84%、83%、82%、81%、または80%の配列同一性を有するMUC-1コアリピートの使用を意図する。
SEQ ID NO:1または2の完全長配列、あるいはその変異体を有するMUC-1コアリピートペプチドは、通常は結合していない別のポリペプチドに結合することもできる。そうすることでMUC-1コアリピートペプチドは、そのN末端またはC末端にて、MUC-1コアリピートと実質的に相同でないアミノ酸配列を有する非相同的ポリペプチドと動作可能に結合できる。「動作可能に結合」とは、MUC-1コアリピートペプチドと非相同的ポリペプチドの両方がインフレームであることを示している。
MUC-1コアリピート変異体にはまた、誘導体または類似物が含まれ、その場合、(i)あるアミノ酸が、遺伝コードによってコードされないアミノ酸のアミノ酸残基で置換されている、(ii)成熟ポリペプチドがポリエチレングリコールのような別の化合物に融合している、あるいは(iii)リーダーもしくは分泌配列またはポリペプチド精製のための配列といった追加のアミノ酸がMUC-1ポリペプチドに融合している。
MUC-1コアペプチド、BLP25ポリペプチド、またはBLP25リポソームワクチンを含むMUC-1ベース製剤を個体に与える場合、当業者は、投与量が個体の体重、腫瘍の大きさ、または腫瘍の進行度を含むが、これらに限定されるものではない複数の要因に依存することを了解している。一般的に、本明細書で用いる場合、MUC-1ベース製剤を投与される個体は単一の生物である。ある態様では、個体は哺乳動物であろう。特に、個体は男または女を含むヒトでありうる。多くの態様では、個体は患者、あるいは診療および処置を待っているか、または受けている個体であろう。
上記のように、多くの態様では、MUC-1ベース製剤はリポソームと共に用いられるであろう。リポソームは、水性区画を取り囲む、一つまたは複数の脂質二重層からなる顕微鏡レベルの小胞である。例えば、Bakker-Woudenbergら、Eur. J. Clin. Microbiol. Infect. Dis. 12 (Suppl. 1): S61 (1993)、およびKim, Drugs, 46: 618 (1993)を参照。リポソームは天然の細胞膜にも存在する巨大脂質分子から作ることができるため、リポソームは一般的に安全に投与でき、また生分解性である。ゆえに、リポソームは薬物送達に多く用いられている。
既述したように、多くの態様においてMUC-1ベース製剤は、SEQ ID NO:2の場合のように脂質付加されていてもよい。本明細書では、「脂質」とは官能性の酸素、窒素、またはイオウ基を有するアミノ酸に結合できるミリスチル、パルミトイル、またはラウリル分子でよい。上記のように、このようなアミノ酸としては、スレオニン、セリン、リジン、アルギニン、およびシステインが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。
本MUC-1ベース製剤は、アジュバントを含んでもよい。または、アジュバントを、本発明のMUC-1ベース製剤を投与する前、同時、または後に投与してもよい。
MUC-1ベース製剤がワクチンである場合、ワクチンは薬学的に許容される賦形剤と共に製剤化してもよい。このような賦形剤の特性は当技術分野では周知であるが、典型的には生理学上許容でき、かつ不活性である賦形剤、または本発明の組成物のワクチン特性を高める賦形剤が含まれる。薬学的に許容される賦形剤の非限定例としては、無菌生理食塩水のような液体媒質が挙げられる。賦形剤はリポソームワクチン配合時のいかなる時点で加えてもよく、または完成したワクチン組成物に混合してもよい。賦形剤を加える時点および本発明のワクチンとの使用に適した賦形剤は共に容易に決定できる。
MUC-1ベース製剤による処置の前に、個体をシクロホスファミドで「前処置」してもよい。多くの態様では、シクロホスファミドの投与量は、約50mg/m2、100mg/m2、200mg/m2、300mg/m2、約400mg/m2、約500mg/m2、または約600mg/m2であろう。約300mg/m2の範囲のシクロホスファミド投与量は、低投与量と考える。ある態様では、シクロホスファミドは単回投与で与えられるであろう。別の態様では、シクロホスファミドは、ある期間にわたって複数回の投与で与えられるであろう。
本発明のMUC-1ベース製剤は、ワクチンを含め複数の投与経路に合わせて製剤化できる。具体的な経路としては、筋肉内、皮下、もしくは皮内注射、エアゾール、経皮、肺内、経鼻、もしくは経口投与、またはこれら経路の組合せによるような好適な投与方法が挙げられ、一回もしくは複数回の単位投与量で投与する。
NSCLCまたは前立腺癌と診断されたいかなる個体も、本明細書に記載のMUC-1ベース製剤による処置を受けることができる。または、任意のステージのNSCLCまたは任意のステージの前立腺癌の症状を示すが、正式にはNSCLCまたは前立腺癌であると診断されていない個体もMUC-1ベース製剤による処置を受けることができる。さらにまた、上記したように、個体をNSCLCまたは前立腺癌に罹らないようにするために、MUC-1ベース製剤を予防的に与えることができる。
NSCLCの個体が本発明のMUC-1ベース製剤による処置を受ける場合は、ステージIIIB局所領域性(LR)、悪性の胸膜滲出を伴うステージIIIB、またはステージIVのNSCLCであると診断された個体が特に処置されうる。しかしながら、本発明はまた、ステージIII局所領域性、ステージIII胸膜滲出、およびステージIVの疾患以外の個体の処置も包含する。従って本発明は、ステージIA、ステージIB、ステージIIA、ステージIIB、ステージIIIA、ステージIIIB、ステージIIIB局所領域性、ステージIIIB胸膜滲出、およびステージIVのNSCLCと診断された患者の処置を意図している。参照として本明細書に組み入れられる、Mountain C. F., Chest.; 111(6):1710-7 (1997)を参照。
一般的に、MUC-1ベース製剤をNSCLCの個体に用いる場合には、個体のNSCLCのステージを処置の前、後、または最中に決定できる。肺癌のステージ分類の概要を以下に記載する。
T分類は小分類T1〜T4からできており、これにより数字が1から4に増加するに従い原発性腫瘍のサイズおよび局所浸潤は大きくなる。T1およびT2は主にサイズで区別され、例えばT1は3cm未満であるのに対し、T2は3cmより大きい。T3腫瘍は、一般的に胸壁を含み、上部肺溝、横隔膜、縦隔胸膜、心膜、または近位気管支幹を含むが、これらに限定されるものではなく、また切除可能である。T4腫瘍は、縦隔膜を侵しているために外科的切除はできず、また心臓、大血管、気管、竜骨または食道を含むこともあり、また悪性の胸膜滲出がある場合には、胸膜も関係することがある。
結節ステージは、N1、N2およびN3に分けられる。N1結節は一般的に気管支周辺または同側性の肺門結節を含む。これら結節は胸膜内に位置する。N2結節は、一般的に同側性の縦隔または竜骨下結節を含む。N3結節は、一般的には対側性の肺門、または縦隔、斜角筋結節、または鎖骨上結節を含む。
従ってNSCLCの「ステージ」は、T、NおよびM値の様々な順列に基づいた明瞭なNSCLCの分類である。認められているNSCLCのステージは次の通りである。
多様な処置を受ける進行ステージの肺癌を患う生存率の低い個体と同様に、前立腺切除術後に生化学的障害を経験している前立腺癌を有する男性には殆ど処置選択肢がない。彼らの一つの処置選択は、アンドロゲン剥奪処置(ADT)である。残念なことにこの処置法は、特に長期間用いた場合には、顕著な病的状態をもたらす。
本発明は、本発明のMUC-1ベース製剤を用いた、NSCLC全ステージのNSCLC個体の処置、およびPSA障害をもつ、根治的前立腺切除術後の前立腺癌個体を含む、前立腺癌を有する個体の処置を包含する。「処置する」という語句は、製剤またはワクチンが、病的状態、疾患の進行、疾患病原因子、またはその他異常な状態の悪影響を予防、治癒、逆転、緩和、変更、最小化、抑制、または阻止するために有用であることを意味するのに用いる。
別の態様では、処置対象に選ばれたNSCLL個体は、Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG)のパフォーマンス ステータス<2、好中球数>1.5×109/L;血小板数>100×109/L;WBC>2.5×109/Lおよびヘモグロビン90g/Lである。それでも、ECOGの数値を処置に関する個人の評価に用いてもよいが、処置前、処置中、または処置後に特定のECOG数は必須ではない。
NSCLCを有する個体と同様に、前立腺癌を有する個体もまた試験対象基準および試験除外基準にかけることができる。この場合も、これら基準は単なる指針であり、試験対象基準のいずれかを満たさないか、または試験除外基準のいずれか、またはすべてを満たす前立腺癌罹患個体を、それでも本発明の方法で処置してもよい。前立腺癌を患う個体では、試験対象基準としては次の事項を挙げることができる:(a)根治的前立腺切除術が処置の少なくとも6ヶ月前である、(b)前立腺切除術後の最低値から少なくとも50%の増加を伴い、根治的前立腺切除術後に血清PSA値が3回連続して上昇している、(c)骨盤CTおよび骨スキャンの陰性結果により証明されるように、処置前評価時に悪性疾患の証拠が見られない、(d)ECOGパフォーマンス ステータスが0、1である、(e)血液学検査、肝臓および腎臓機能検査が正常である、(f)書面による同意書を理解し署名している;および(g)前立腺癌のためにホルモン治療(即ちRP前ネオアジュバント療法)を受けたことがある個体については、血清テストステロンが正常範囲内になければならない。上記したように、これらの基準は単なる指針であり、別の基準を示す多くの個体が本発明の方法を用いて処置を受けることができる。例えば、根治的前立腺切除術を受けたことがない前立腺癌を罹患している個体を処置してもよい。さらにまた、増加した血清PSAを示していないか、またはその個体の血清PSAが連続しては増加しないかもしくは前立腺切除術後の最低値に比べて50%を超える増加を示さなかった個体を処置してもよい。
本明細書に記載するMUC-1ベース製剤を用いた処置は、様々な効果をもたらすことができる。NSCLCと診断された個体、特にステージIIIBのNSCLCと診断された個体を、MUC-1ベース製剤を用いて処置することの一つの効果は、生存期間の延長である。同様に、記載のMUC-1ベース製剤を個体に投与することは、その個体の「生活の質」または「健康に関係する生活の質」に影響を与えうる。生存期間の延長、ならびに生活の質への影響は、処置を受けた前立腺癌を有する個体についても見ることができる。さらに、前立腺癌を有するある個体では、MUC-1ベース製剤による処置は、PSAの低下、PSAの安定化、またはPSA倍加速度の減少をもたらすだろう。
本発明のMUC-1ベース製剤を用いてNSCLCまたは前立腺癌の個体を処置することの利点の一つは、個体が、本発明の組成物を用いた処置を受けていない個体に比べ生存時間が長くなりうることである。生存率は、生存者数とMUC-1ベース製剤による処置を開始した時の個体数とを比較することによって決定できる。別の態様では、生存率は特定のタイプの癌について公表されている生存率と比較してもよい。一般に、生存率は処置開始後の任意の時点で測定してよい。
上記したように、NSCLCまたは前立腺癌を患う個体を、本発明のMUC-1ベース製剤を用いて処置する別の利点は、個体の生活の質の維持または向上である。医師および監督機関は、個体の「生活の質」(「QoL」)が癌の臨床試験の重要なエンドポイントであることを認識している。例えば、参照として本明細書に組み入れられる、Plunkettら、Clin. Lung Cancer, 5(1):28-32 (2003)、およびCellaら、J. Clin. Epidemiol., 55(3):285-95 (2002)を参照。
いくつかの態様では、本発明のMUC-1ベース製剤による前立腺癌の個体の処置は、PSA濃度の低下、PSA濃度の安定化、またはPSA倍加時間の短縮をもたらすだろう。一般的に、PSA濃度またはPSA倍加時間へのMUC-1ベース製剤の作用は、任意の時点で測定してよい。例えば、処置後のPSA濃度はベースライン値と比較することができるが、PSA濃度は処置ポイント間、または特定の処置ポイントと処置終了時との間で比較してもよい。ある態様では、PSAの反応は処置中に確認されるだろう。
いくつかの態様では、MUC-1ベース製剤に対する個体の反応は、T細胞増殖反応アッセイのような免疫機能試験を用いて測定されるであろう。いくつかの態様では、T細胞増殖反応アッセイの結果を用いて、MUC-1ベース製剤処置が個体に有効であるか判定するであろう。これらアッセイの結果はまた、処置経過中の様々な時点での製剤に対する個体の反応を判定するのに用いてもよい。
本発明は、本明細書に記載のMUC-1ベース製剤によるNSCLCおよび前立腺癌に加えて、別の癌の処置も包含する。
NSCLC処置に関するリポソームMUC1ワクチンの第II相試験
本実施例は、ステージIIIB局所領域性またはステージIV NSCLCの個体の処置に及ぼすL-BLP25ワクチンの効果を証明する。
対照オープンラベル第IIb相試験には171名の患者を登録した。171例の登録患者のうち65例がIIIBの局所領域性疾患を患っていた。そのうち35例を処置群に、30例を最善な標準的療法に無作為に割り振った。グループは、年齢および人種に関してよくバランスが取られていた。最善の標準療法(BSC)群に比べて、より多くの女性患者およびECOG 0の患者が処置群に割り振られ(51.4%および36.7%、ならびに40.0%および26.7%)、また処置群には、試験登録前の癌処置として化学療法に加えて放射線処置を受けている患者の割合が高かった(91.4対76.7%)。
図2に示すように、ステージIIIB局所領域性患者に観察された2年生存率は、ワクチン群で60%であったのに対し、対照群では36.7%であり、平均余命が23.3%の有意義な延長をすることが証明された。患者集団全体では、2年生存率はワクチン群の43.2%に対し対照群の28.9%であり、平均余命が14.3%延長したことを証明している。図1を参照。最善の標準療法のみを受けたステージIIIB局所領域性患者の生存期間中央値は、最善の標準療法を受けた全グループの全生存期間中央値、13.3ヶ月に近かった。これに対し、L-BLP25による処置を受けたステージIIIB局所領域性患者の全生存期間平均値は、最低平均期間24ヶ月で、まだ最終結論はでていないが、平均余命を少なくとも10.7ヶ月延長することが証明された。このことは、本発明のMUC-1組成物が導入される前は、このカテゴリーの患者にこのような結果をもたらすことができる実行可能な治療選択肢がなかったことから、驚くべきことであると同時に予想外である。
処置患者とBSC単独処置患者の間の、ステージIIIB局所領域性(LR)疾患および悪性胸膜滲出(PE)を伴うステージIIIB/IVサブグループの比較分析を、FACT-L全スコア、各種サブスケール、およびTOIについてT検定を用いて行った。全/TOI変化スコアがマイナスであることは、QoLの悪化を示し、一方、全/TOI変化スコアがプラスであることは改善を示す。サブグループ分析は、L-BLP25で処置したステージIIIBのLR患者についてより良いQoLを示した。このことは、BLP25で処置したステージIIIBのLR患者で生存率が臨床上有意に改善することを証明した先のデータと一致する(p=0.0692)。
2週間前:FACT-L QoLアンケート調査の配布。
2週間前:患者を、L-BLP25に最善の標準的療法を加えたものか、最善の標準的療法単独のいずれかに無作為に割り振った(最善の標準的療法としては、対症放射線処置および/または現在の標準的臨床基準に従った第二選択化学療法が挙げられ、また心理学的支援、鎮痛剤および栄養補給もこれに含めてよい)。
2週間前:処置前評価(病歴調査、身体検査、および臨床検査)。臨床的に正当な根拠がある場合には、その他潜在的疾患部位の評価も実施し、他の領域への疾患の進行を除外した。妊娠の可能性のある女性は、処置前に妊娠検査(HCG)が陰性であることを要求した。
3日前:処置群の患者にシクロホスファミドを300mg/m2単回静脈投与した。
第0〜7週:L-BLP25ワクチン接種#1〜#8(第一処置期間)。L-BLP25群の患者について生命兆候を評価し、さらに各L-BLP25処置の前に前回の注射部位を検査した。各L-BLP25処置の1時間後に生命兆候もモニタリングした。患者には、各ワクチン接種後にダイアリーカードを渡して有害事象を記録してもらい、次回来訪時毎に前回の注射部位を評価した。毒性はCALGB拡大基準(CALGB Expanded Criteria)に従って等級付けした。
第4週:処置群患者に対する処置および安全性の評価、ならびに免疫血液学検査。患者全員にFACT-L QoLアンケート調査。
第8週:処置評価(身体検査、ECOGステータス、生命兆候、L-BLP25群を対象とした処置部位検査、および有害事象評価)。血液試料を採取して標準的な安全性(血液学および化学)ならびに免疫反応についても分析した。患者全員にFACT-L QoLアンケート調査。
第19週+:維持ワクチン接種(6週間隔)および処置評価(12週間隔)。L-BLP25群の患者については、維持ワクチン接種毎に処置の評価および安全性血液検査を実施したのに加え、初回維持ワクチン接種後1週目に免疫学プロフィール試験を実施した。患者全員にFACT-L QoLアンケート調査。
試験対象基準
1. 年齢が18歳を超える、NSCLCを有する男女で、第一選択(first line)標準化学療法終了後にその疾患が安定しているか、または処置に反応した男女。
2. Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG)パフォーマンス ステータス<2、好中球数>1.5×109/L;血小板数>100×109/L;WBC>2.5×109/Lおよびヘモグロビン90g/L。
3. 予想生存期間4ヶ月。
4. 同意書の内容を理解し、署名している。
1. 試験登録前4週間以内の手術または免疫処置。
2. 試験登録前3週間以内の、全身性コルチコステロイドを含む免疫抑制薬投与。
3. 肺癌以外の癌の過去および現在の病歴。
4. 自己免疫疾患または認定されている免疫不全性疾患。
6. 臨床上有意な肝臓または腎臓の機能不全。
7. 顕著な心臓疾患または活動性感染症、または脾臓摘出手術を受けた患者。
T細胞増殖反応アッセイ
本実施例は、本発明のMUC-1製剤が実施例1に示した中央生存値の増加に直接関与することを立証するものである。
根治的前立腺切除術(RP)後のPSA障害例を対象とするリポソームMUC1ワクチンの第II相試験
本実施例は、根治的前立腺切除術後にPSAの増加を示した男性での、PSAレベルに対するL-BLP25ワクチンの免疫処置効果を示すものである。
前立腺切除術後にPSAが3回上昇したことで生化学的障害が証明された男性を登録した。これには16例の患者が含まれ、その年齢中央値は60歳であり、ECOGスコアは0または1、そしてグリーソンスコアの中央値は7であった。一次エンドポイントはMUC1リポソームワクチン(L-BLP25)の効力(PSA反応で測定した)および安全性とした。PSA倍加時間(PSADT)の変化も評価した。患者には、300mg/m2のシクロホスファミド(CTX)を単回、静脈投与し、その後8週間、毎週1回、1,000μgの抗原を含むL-BLP25を皮下ワクチン接種した(処置)。その後、ワクチン接種は6週間隔で49週目まで行った(維持)。処置および維持期間中PSA濃度を測定し、これら期間についてPSADTを計算して登録前のPSADTと比較した。
導入後、評価可能な15例中8例が、PSAの安定化または減少を示した(PSA作業グループの定義による)。試験時の最終PSA測定では、一人の患者は安定したPSAを維持した。15例中6例の患者は試験前のPSADTに比べ、PSADTが>50%延長した。
−16例中8例の個体が第一次処置期間後にPSAの安定を得た;
−16例中1例の個体が、維持期間終了までPSAの安定を維持した;および
−PSADTは、15例中の14例の被験者においてワクチン使用により延長した;16例中の6例の個体が>50%のPSADT延長を得た。
2週間前:処置前評価(身体検査、PSA濃度測定、骨盤CT、および骨スキャン)。
3日前:シクロホスファミド前処置。
第0〜7週:L-BLP25ワクチン接種#1〜#8(第一次処置期間)。
第8週:PSA反応を含む第一次処置期間の評価。
第13週:PSA反応の確認。
第13、19、25、31、37、43、および49週:L-BLP25ワクチン接種#9〜#15(維持期間)。
第43週:PSA反応の評価。
第49週:PSA反応の確認。
第50週:維持処置の評価。
試験対象基準
1. 根治的前立腺切除術が試験登録より少なくとも6ヶ月前である。
2. 根治的前立腺切除術後の最低値から少なくとも50%の増加を伴い根治的前立腺切除術後に血清PSA値が3回連続して上昇している。
3. 骨盤CTおよび骨スキャンの陰性結果により証明されるように、処置前評価時に悪性疾患の証拠が見られない。
4. ECOGパフォーマンス ステータスが0、1である。
5. 血液学、肝臓および腎臓機能検査が正常である。
6. 書面による同意書を理解し、署名している。
7. 前立腺癌のためにホルモン治療(即ちRP前ネオアジュバント療法)を受けたことのある全患者については、血清テストステロンが正常範囲内である。
1. 試験登録前6ヶ月以内のホルモン治療。
2. 試験登録前4週間以内の免疫治療。
3. 試験登録前1年以内の前立腺床への放射線治療。
4. シクロスポリンまたは副腎皮質刺激ホルモン(ACTH)のような免疫抑制薬を用いた処置またはコルチコステロイドによる所要の慢性処置。
5. 公知自己免疫疾患または免疫不全性疾患。
6. 臨床上有意な心臓疾患または活動性感染症。

Claims (17)
- ステージIIIB局所領域性の非小細胞肺癌を処置するための医薬の製造における、SEQ ID NO:1または2のアミノ酸配列を含む少なくとも一つのポリペプチドを含んだリポソームを含むMUC-1ベース製剤の使用。
- MUC-1ベース製剤が少なくとも一つのアジュバントをさらに含む、請求項1記載の使用。
- アジュバントが、リピドA、ムラミルジペプチド、ミョウバン、およびサイトカインからなる群より選択される、請求項2記載の使用。
- リピドAが、モノホスホリルリピドAまたはリピドA合成模倣物である、請求項3記載の使用。
- サイトカインがインターロイキン2である、請求項3記載の使用。
- 製剤が、(i)SEQ ID NO:1または2の配列を含むMUC-1ペプチドと(ii)アジュバントと(iii)一つまたは複数の追加のリポソーム脂質とを含んだBLP25リポソームワクチンを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項記載の使用。
- BLP25リポソームワクチンがキットにて提供されている、請求項6記載の使用。
- MUC-1ベース製剤が、注射、エアゾール、経鼻送達、または経口送達によって投与するためのものであり、該注射は、筋肉内注射、皮下注射、結節内、腫瘍内、腹腔内、または皮内注射である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項記載の使用。
- ステージIIIB局所領域性の非小細胞肺癌と診断された個体の生活の質を向上または維持するための医薬の製造における、(i)SEQ ID NO:1または2の配列を含むMUC-1ペプチドと(ii)アジュバントと(iii)一つまたは複数の追加のリポソーム脂質とを含むBLP25リポソームワクチンを含むMUC-1ベース製剤の使用。
- MUC-1ペプチドの用量が1000μgであり、かつアジュバントの用量が500μgである、請求項7または9記載の使用。
- MUC-1Lペプチドの量が300μgである、請求項7または9記載の使用。
- アジュバントがリピドAである、請求項7または9記載の使用。
- リピドAの量が150μgである、請求項12記載の使用。
- 追加のリポソーム脂質の量が15mgである、請求項7または9記載の使用。
- MUC-1ペプチドがSEQ ID NO:1に記載の配列を含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項記載の使用。
