Description

このような第1デバイス3(熱電変換素子)において、そのZT値(無次元性能指数)は、例えば、0.3以上である。
図6は、実施例1において用いた発電システムの概略構成図である。
図8は、実施例2において用いた発電システムの概略構成図である。
(考察)
実施例1および2からわかるように、このような発電システムによれば、温度が経時的に上下する(周期的に変化する)熱源から、電力を、その変化に応じて変動する波形として取り出すことができる。
薄膜型のピエゾ素子(構造:Pb(Zr,Ti)O3、製番:VSB50EWH0301B、タイプ:丸型フライングリード、トーンタイプ:外付けドライブ、寸法:直径50mm、静電容量:600nF[120Hz]、インピーダンス:300Ω[1kHz]、共振周波数:400 Hz、振動周波数帯:250Hz〜20kHz、村田製作所製)を、電圧計(入力抵抗:10MΩ)に接続した。
バルク型のピエゾ素子(構造:NbおよびSn添加PZT(Nb/Sn/Pb(Zr,Ti)O3)、製番:H5C、住友金属エレクトロデバイス製)を、電圧計(入力抵抗:10MΩ)に接続した。

Claims (3)
- 温度が経時的に上下する熱源と、
前記熱源の温度変化により電気分極する第1デバイスと、
前記第1デバイスから電力を取り出すための第2デバイスと
を備え、
前記熱源が、
多気筒型のエンジンと、前記エンジンの各気筒に接続される複数の分岐管、および、前記分岐管の下流側において各前記分岐管を統合する集気管を備える排気多岐管とを備える内燃機関であり、
前記第1デバイスが、前記分岐管に配置されており、
前記第1デバイスは、焦電素子および/またはピエゾ素子であり、
前記第1デバイスのキュリー点が、−77℃以上1300℃以下であり、
前記第1デバイスの比誘電率が、1以上であること
を特徴とする、発電システム。 - 前記熱源が、周期的に温度変化することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の発電システム。
- 前記第2デバイスが、電力を、周期的に変動する波形として取り出すことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の発電システム。
