例えば図1に図示された電気化学的装置に、Ir、Ru、及びSnの酸化物を基調とする触媒被膜で活性化されたチタン製平坦陽極と、ニッケル製非活性陰極とを含む、非分離電解セルを装備した。全陽極表面は、全陰極表面と等しく、600cm2であった。供給容器は、1g/リットルのNaC1及び2、5g/リットルのKClを含有するpHが中性の溶液で満たされ、サービス容器は、流速が下流のUVプローブにより制御される水道水の流れで満たされた。なお、UVプローブは、散布段階で0.10〜0.15g/リットルの値に濃度を調整する292nmにおける吸光度により、次亜塩素酸の出口濃度を検出するように較正されている。サービス容器への電解セルの流出は流速20リットル/時に調整された。
ヴァルサ・キャンカー及びネクトリア・キャンカーに冒されたグラニィ・スミス品種のリンゴの木の栽培に、殆ど等価の条件で実施例1の装置を操作した。各キャンカーは、真菌剤のヴァルサ属セラトスペルマ及びネクトリア属ガリゲナにより引き起こされる病変であり、縁部にギザギザがなく深い亀裂のあるキャンカーとして、枝、大枝、及び幹に現れる。前記事例の試験と対比すると、サービス容器には水道水が供給されず、等価の酸化性溶液を得るために、電解セルの出口流速を45リットル/時に高めた。処理前に、処理される病変部分を数層のガーゼで包帯巻きした。30日の間、1日1回、幹、大枝、及び枝に散布処理を行った。このサイクルの終わりには、処理されたキャンカーの全ての事例で、干上がって境界線が引かれることが判明し、病変部分と反対側の幹部分に新鮮な木質の成長が見られた。

前記酸化性溶液の組成及び選択的にその温度を制御する制御システムを更に含み、前記制御システムは、散布段階中に、前記散布手段の上流の次亜塩素酸濃度を0.01〜2g/リットルの範囲に保持するのに適する、態様1又は2に記載の電気化学的装置。

更に、前記散布手段の上流のpHを6〜9の範囲に保持するのに適した制御装置であって、前記溶液の酸性度を制御する制御システムを含む、態様3に記載の電気化学的装置。

前記アルカリ塩化物溶液が塩化ナトリウム及び塩化カリウムの混合物を含み、その全体の濃度が1〜50g/リットルであり、pHが6〜8である、態様1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の電気化学的装置。

Claims (1)
- 現場で電気化学的に生成された酸化性溶液を散布することにより野菜種における微生物誘発性病変を治癒又は予防する方法であって、
陽極及び陰極を備え、濃度が1〜50g/リットルでpHが6〜8の塩化カリウム溶液を有する電解セルを装着する工程と、
前記陽極と前記陰極との間に電位を印加して、0.01〜2g/リットルの濃度の次亜塩素酸を含む酸化性溶液を生成する工程と、
処理される野菜種に前記酸化性溶液を現場で散布する工程と、を備え、
微生物が、エルウィニア属アミロヴォラ、ヴァルサ属セラトスペルマ、ネクトリア属ガリゲナ、及びシュードモナス属シリンガエのうち少なくとも1つを含む、方法。
