Claims (3)
- 内燃機関から排気通路に排出された排気の一部をEGRガスとして吸気通路に循環させる内燃機関の排気循環装置であって、
前記排気通路と前記吸気通路とを連通するEGR通路が形成されたEGR管と、
前記EGR通路に設けられ前記EGRガスを冷却するEGRクーラと、
前記EGRクーラよりも前記排気通路側に設けられ、開状態と閉状態との間で駆動されるとともに、前記閉状態の場合に前記EGRガスが前記EGR通路に流入するのを遮断する第1の弁と、
前記EGRクーラよりも前記吸気通路側に設けられ、前記EGRガスを前記吸気通路に流入する量を調整する第2の弁と、
前記内燃機関に冷却水を供給するための冷却水路を有する冷却水回路と、
前記冷却水回路に冷却水を吐出するウォーターポンプと、を備え、
前記EGRクーラおよび前記第2の弁は、熱伝導性を有する金属により形成され、EGRガスの通路外周部に冷却水配管が形成された筐体をそれぞれ有し、前記各筐体が前記EGR管を介さず互いに熱伝導可能となる締結部により固定され、
前記冷却水回路は、前記ウォーターポンプから前記内燃機関、前記EGRクーラの冷却水配管、前記第2の弁の冷却水配管の順に前記冷却水が供給され前記ウォーターポンプに戻る第1経路と、冷却水温を調整するサーモスタットを有し、前記第1経路から分岐して前記内燃機関から流出した冷却水の一部をラジエータに供給し、前記ウォーターポンプに戻す第2経路と、を有し、
前記第1経路は、前記締結部に前記冷却水が供給されないように前記冷却水路が形成されており、
前記サーモスタットは、前記冷却水の温度が所定の閾値温度よりも低い場合は、前記ラジエータと前記ウォーターポンプとの間の経路を遮断し、前記冷却水の温度が前記閾値温度よりも高い場合は、前記冷却水の温度が高いほど、前記ラジエータと前記ウォーターポンプとの間の経路を流れる冷却水量が増加するように制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気循環装置。 - 前記第1の弁は、前記冷却水の温度が所定値未満の場合に前記閉状態を取ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気循環装置。
- 前記所定値は、前記内燃機関の暖機が終了し前記第2の弁が開弁される温度に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関の排気循環装置。
