Description
パイロット規模のプログラマブル論理制御による膜生物反応槽システム(Petro(登録商標)MBRパイロットユニット(Siemens Water Technologies、ロスチャイルド、ウィスコンシン、アメリカから販売))において曝気槽を無酸素部と共に設け、容量をおよそ1,000ガロン(パイロット規模のため)とし、市販の膜生物反応槽システムに相当する膜動作システムを、本発明中記載の粒状活性炭の付加に対応できるように改変した。混合液を曝気槽から膜動作システムへと移送するポンプの入口に、ウェッジスクリーンを設けた。
Claims (24)
- 処理された廃水中の生物学的に難溶性の物質および/またはバイオ抑制化合物の濃度を低減するための膜生物反応槽産業廃水処理システムであって、
産業廃水ストリームを曝気するための曝気槽であって、前記槽は廃棄物排出ポートを含む、曝気槽と、
前記曝気槽中の一つ以上の廃棄物を消化する細菌性微生物の集団と、
前記曝気槽内に粒状活性炭を導入するための、前記曝気槽と連結した一つ以上の粒状活性炭入力場所と、
前記曝気槽中の、曝気された粒状活性炭の懸濁液であって、前記曝気された粒状活性炭の懸濁液は、前記廃水ストリームからの生物学的に難溶性の物質および/またはバイオ抑制化合物をその表面上に吸着させ、かつ、廃棄物を消化する活性の細菌性微生物をその細孔内に保持する、曝気された粒状活性炭の懸濁液と、
前記曝気槽の下流に配置された一つ以上の膜を含む膜動作システムタンクであって、前記膜動作システムタンクは、前記曝気槽からの混合液を受け入れ、処理された廃水を排出する、膜動作システムタンクと、
前記曝気槽内に配置された細篩または分離サブシステムであって、前記細篩または分離サブシステムは、前記曝気槽内の前記粒状活性炭を前記混合液と共に維持し、かつ、前記粒状活性炭の少なくとも大部分が前記膜動作システムタンクへと通過するのを回避する、細篩または分離サブシステムと、

生物学的に難溶性の物質および/またはバイオ抑制化合物を除去するための前記粒状活性炭の有効性が、前記処理システムの要求と関連付けられた順守レベルに近いレベルまで低下した場合には、前記廃棄物排出ポートは、前記曝気槽から粒状活性炭を除去するように動作するシステム。 - 処理された廃水中の生物学的に難溶性の、及び/又は、バイオ抑制化合物の濃度を低減するための廃水処理システムであって、
混合液を備えた前記曝気槽中で粒状活性炭を維持するために構成され配置された分離サブシステムと、生物学的に難溶性の物質および/またはバイオ抑制化合物を除去するための前記粒状活性炭の有効性が、前記処理システムの要求と関連付けられた順守レベルに近いレベルまで低下した場合には、前記曝気槽から前記粒状活性炭を取り除くために構成され配置された廃棄物排出ポートと、粒状活性炭入力場所と、を含む曝気槽と、
前記曝気槽の下流に配置され、前記曝気槽から混合液を受け取り、かつ前記処理された廃水を放出するために構成され配置された膜動作システムタンクと、を含むシステム。 - 前記一つ以上の粒状活性炭入力場所のうち少なくとも一つは、前記曝気槽の上流にあるか、前記曝気槽と直接連通するか、または、前記膜動作システムタンクから排出される返送活性スラッジストリームと連通する請求項1または2に記載のシステム。
- 前記粒状活性炭の有効顆粒サイズは、少なくとも0.3ミリメートルである請求項1または2に記載のシステム。
- 前記粒状活性炭の有効顆粒サイズは、0.5ミリメートル〜1.4ミリメートルである請求項1または2に記載のシステム。
- 前記粒状活性炭は、生物学的に難溶性の有機物質、バイオ抑制化合物、無機化合物及びそれらの組み合わせ、からなるグループから選ばれた前記廃水ストリームからの化合物を吸着する請求項1または2に記載のシステム。

- 前記粒状活性炭は、木材、ココナツ、バガス、おがくず、泥炭、パルプ工場廃棄物、および他のセルロース由来の物質からなる群から選択された物質から由来する、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のシステム。
- 生物学的に難溶性の物質および/またはバイオ抑制化合物を含む産業廃水ストリームを浄化するプロセスであって、
前記廃水ストリームを種バクテリア培養物と共に曝気槽内に導入して、混合液を生成するステップと、
前記曝気槽内に粒状活性炭を導入するステップと、
前記曝気槽内の懸濁液中で前記粒状活性炭を維持するステップと、
前記粒状活性炭の細孔内の成熟微生物が成長するのに十分な期間だけ、前記粒状活性炭を前記曝気槽内に残留させるステップであって、前記成熟微生物は、前記粒状活性炭によって吸着される前記生物学的に難溶性の物質および/またはバイオ抑制化合物の処理において有効である、ステップと、
前記曝気槽内のまたは前記曝気槽の下流のスクリーンまたは分離システムを通じて前記曝気槽からの混合液廃水を送って、実質的に粒状活性炭を含まない前記混合液廃水を膜動作システムタンクに導入するステップと、
前記粒状活性炭の有効性が、所定のレベルに低下した場合には、前記曝気槽から前記粒状活性炭の一部を除去するステップと、
前記曝気槽へより大きな有効性がある追加の粒状活性炭を導入するステップと、
を含むプロセス。 - 廃水ストリームを浄化するプロセスであって、
混合液を生成するために、種バクテリア培養物と共に曝気槽へ前記廃水ストリームを導入し、
前記曝気槽へ粒状活性炭を導入し、
前記粒状活性炭によって吸着される、前記生物学的に難溶性の、及び/又は、バイオ抑制化合物を処理するのに有効である、前記粒状活性炭の細孔内の成熟微生物が成長するのに十分な期間だけ前記曝気槽内に前記粒状活性炭を残留させ、
前記曝気槽から実質的に粒状活性炭を含まない混合液廃水を膜動作システムタンクに通し、
前記粒状活性炭の有効性が、所定のレベルに低下した場合には、前記曝気槽から前記粒状活性炭の一部を除去し、
前記曝気槽へより大きな有効性がある追加の粒状活性炭を導入する、ことを含むプロセス。 - 前記曝気槽から排出された前記混合液をスクリーニングすることにより、前記曝気槽内に前記粒状活性炭を維持または保持する請求項13または14に記載のプロセス。
- 前記実質的に粒状活性炭を含まない前記曝気槽からの混合液廃水を通す工程は、
前記曝気槽から放出した前記混合液をスクリーニングすることを含む請求項13または14に記載のプロセス。 - 前記粒状活性炭の一部の除去工程は、粒状活性炭を含む混合液の廃棄を含む請求項13または14に記載のプロセス。
- 前記粒状活性炭の有効性が順守要求レベルに近いレベルまで低下した場合に前記粒状活性炭の一部を前記曝気槽から廃棄するステップと、より高い吸着能を有するさらなる粒状活性炭を前記曝気槽内に導入するステップとをさらに含む請求項13または14に記載のプロセス。
- 前記粒状活性炭の一部の廃棄は、粒状活性炭を含む混合液の廃棄を含む請求項18に記載のプロセス。
- 前記粒状活性炭は、水中で20℃において、1.05〜1.10の比重を有する請求項13〜19のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
- 前記粒状活性炭は、木材、ココナツ、バガス、おがくず、泥炭、パルプ工場廃棄物、および他のセルロース由来の物質からなる群から選択された物質から由来する、請求項13〜19のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
- 膜生物反応槽によって処理される産業廃水ストリームを処理するプロセスであって、
曝気槽内に含まれる混合液中で粒状活性炭を懸濁させるステップと、
スクリーンまたは分離システムを通じて前記混合液を送って、前記曝気槽内の前記粒状活性炭を保持した後、前記混合液と、前記曝気槽の下流の膜動作システムの膜とを接触させ、これにより、前記混合液は、前記膜を摩耗し得る粒状活性炭を実質的に含まない、ステップと、
を含むプロセス。 - 廃水ストリーム処理する方法であって、
曝気槽に含まれる混合液中の粒状活性炭を懸濁させ、
分離された廃水を形成するために、前記曝気槽中の前記粒状活性炭を保持するために前記曝気槽にある分離システムを通して前記混合液を通し、
処理された廃水を形成するために膜動作システムタンクの入口に前記分離された廃水を導入し、
入口の廃水ストリーム及び前記処理された廃水の少なくとも1つの特性に応じて、前記曝気槽からの粒状活性炭を含む前記混合液の少なくとも一部を除去する、ことを含むプロセス。 - 前記曝気槽の上流、前記曝気槽中、及び、返送活性スラッジストリームの中、を含む1以上の場所で追加の粒状活性炭を導入することをさらに含む請求項23に記載のプロセス。
