Description
Claims (4)
- 水素含有燃料を用いてセルスタックにより発電するとともに熱媒体を用いて前記セルスタックの排熱を回収する燃料電池システムに用いられる脱硫装置であって、
脱硫触媒を収容した脱硫流路を有し、前記水素含有燃料を流体入口から流体出口まで延びる前記脱硫流路に流通させて脱硫する脱硫部と、
前記脱硫流路の内部に収容され、前記セルスタックの排熱を回収した後の前記熱媒体を流通させて前記熱媒体と前記脱硫部とを熱交換させる螺旋状の流路である脱硫系熱交換部と、を備え、
前記脱硫系熱交換部の流体流通方向及び前記脱硫流路の流体流通方向が対向流となるように形成されており、
前記脱硫流路の内部において、前記流体入口側に前記流体の流れを変更する邪魔板が設けられ、
前記流体入口側の前記邪魔板は、前記流体入口から離間して、前記脱硫触媒が収容されている部分の内部に配置され、
前記脱硫流路には、前記流体入口から一方側へ流通する前記水素含有燃料を一方側とは反対の他方側へ流通させる折返し部が形成され、前記流体入口から前記折返し部までの前記脱硫流路内部に前記脱硫系熱交換部が収容されており、
前記流体入口から前記折返し部までの前記脱硫流路の流体流通方向と、前記脱硫系熱交換部の流体流通方向及び前記折返し部から前記流体出口までの前記脱硫流路の流体流通方向とが、対向流となるように形成され、
前記脱硫流路の内部において、前記折返し部に前記流体の流れを変更する邪魔板が設けられていること、を特徴とする脱硫装置。 - 前記流体入口から前記折返し部までの前記脱硫流路は、前記脱硫部の内部に設けられた内壁によって画成され、
前記折返し部から前記流体出口までの前記脱硫流路は、前記脱硫部の外周壁及び前記内壁によって画成され、
前記内壁は、前記流体入口から前記折返し部までの前記脱硫流路と、前記折返し部から前記流体出口までの前記脱硫流路とが同一の体積となるように設けられている請求項1に記載の脱硫装置。 - 前記脱硫部は、円筒を呈し、前記脱硫部の半径と前記脱硫部に収容される所定の触媒量とに基づいて求まる表面積が最小値となるように設定された半径を有する請求項1又は2に記載の脱硫装置。
- 請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の脱硫装置を備え、脱硫後の水素含有燃料を用いて発電する燃料電池システム。
