Description
はじめに、本発明に好適な車両用前照灯の基本構成について説明する。
第1の実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯70は、光源の発光面が下方に向くように配置されている。本実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯は、光源の発光面が車幅方向に向くように配置されている点が異なる。
Claims (4)
- 少なくとも一辺が直線状の発光面を有する光源と、
前記光源が出射した光を反射して、互いに角度を持つ第1カットオフラインおよび第2カットオフラインを有するホットゾーン用配光パターンを形成するホットゾーン形成部、並びに、前記ホットゾーン用配光パターンよりも水平方向に長い拡散配光パターンを形成する拡散領域形成部、とを有するリフレクタと、を備え、
前記ホットゾーン形成部は、前記光源までの平均距離が前記拡散領域形成部から前記光源までの平均距離よりも短くなるようように配置されており、
前記ホットゾーン形成部は、光軸を中心に車幅方向の左側の領域の面積と右側の領域の面積とが異なる形状であり、前記発光面の反射像の直線状の一辺で第1カットオフラインを形成する複数の第1反射部と、前記発光面の反射像の直線状の一辺で第2カットオフラインを形成する複数の第2反射部と、を有し、
前記光源は、前記複数の第1反射部および前記複数の第2反射部が、前記左側の領域および前記右側の領域のうち面積の大きい領域に位置するように、前記直線状の一辺が光軸に対して斜めに配置されていることを特徴とする車両用前照灯。 - 前記光源は、発光面が下方に向くように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 少なくとも一辺が直線状の発光面を有する光源と、
前記光源が出射した光を反射して、互いに角度を持つ第1カットオフラインおよび第2カットオフラインを有する配光パターンを形成するリフレクタと、を備え、
前記リフレクタは、光軸を中心に上側の領域の面積と下側の領域の面積とが異なる形状であり、前記発光面の反射像の直線状の一辺で第1カットオフラインを形成する複数の第1反射部と、前記発光面の反射像の直線状の一辺で第2カットオフラインを形成する複数の第2反射部と、を有し、
前記光源は、前記複数の第1反射部および前記複数の第2反射部が、前記上側の領域および前記下側の領域のうち面積の大きい領域に位置するように、前記直線状の一辺が光軸に対して斜めに配置されていることを特徴とする車両用前照灯。 - 前記光源は、発光面が車幅方向に向くように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の車両用前照灯。
