Description
繊維分析
繊維サンプルの取り付け:試験される各サンプルについて、10〜12本の繊維を準備した。繊維は無作為に選択し、束から分ける。その後、該繊維を長方形の紙枠にテープで固定し、テープ及び繊維の末端部を確実に枠の裏側まで巻きつける。決して繊維を伸ばしたり又は変形させたりしないよう注意する。
不織手抄きシートの製造:以下の手順を使用して、ポリオレフィン組成物を不織手抄きシートサンプルに加工する:
初めに、純材料又は複合材料を、2つの押出成形機システムを用いて、繊維(単一成分又は二成分)に溶融紡糸する(ここで各押出成形機は、水平型シングルスクリュー押出成形機(horizontal single-screw extruder)である)。各押出成形機からスピンパックへの押出速度は、4穴スピンパック(ヒルズ社(Hills Incorporated)、フロリダ州ウェストメルボルン)に送り込む計量溶融ポンプ(metering melt pump)により制御される。全ての実施例において、スピンパックは、丸穴には紡糸口金、及び鞘部−芯部横断面には分配プレート(distribution plates)が取り付けられる。単一成分繊維の場合、約50:50の鞘部:芯部比には、両押出成形機で同じ樹脂が使用される。押出成形機/溶解ポンプ/スピンパックシステムは、高さ調節可能な台に取り付けられる。紡糸線長は、約177.8cm(約70インチ)の一定距離に維持され、質量処理量は約0.4g/分/穴、及び溶融押出成形温度は約230℃に維持される。溶融フィラメントは、紡糸口金から出て、スピンパックの真下に位置する冷却キャビネットに入り、フィラメントを取り囲んで引張る空気流を高圧圧縮空気を用いて生み出す高さ調節可能な空気抵抗装置にて延伸される。集積された繊維直径が約20〜25ミクロンになるように空気圧を調節する。
スパンボンド不織布ウェブの製造:ポリオレフィン組成物は、スロットジェット減衰システム(slot jet attenuation system)及び熱カレンダー(calendar)接着システムを備えた、試験的規模のスパンボンド不織布ラインにて、スパンボンド不織布ウェブに加工される。ウェブは、質量処理量0.3g/分/穴にて製造され、約25g/平方メートルの坪量を得るようにライン速度を調節する。
Claims (4)
- 少なくとも伸張度80%を有し、直径5〜50ミクロンの範囲を有する多成分繊維を含み、
a.100〜2000g/10分のメルトフローレートを有するポリプロピレンからなり、溶融温度が140℃を越える第一構成成分、及び
b.ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン−ポリプロピレン混合物、及びポリエチレン−ポリプロピレンコポリマーからなる群から選択されるポリマーであって、10〜80g/10分のメルトフローレートを有するポリマーを含む第二構成成分
を含む多成分繊維を含む不織布ウェブであり、
前記第二構成成分が前記第一構成成分から空間的に離れた形状を有し、前記空間的に離れた形状は、前記第一構成成分が鞘部であり前記第二構成成分が芯部である鞘部−芯部型、セグメントパイ、リボン型、又は海島型の形状から選択され、前記第一構成成分が多成分繊維表面の少なくとも50%含まれることを特徴とする不織布ウェブ。 - 請求項1に記載の不織布ウェブを含むことを特徴とする使い捨て物品。
- 前記ウェブが、婦人衛生パッド、おむつ、及び/又は成人用失禁製品のトップシート(top sheet)、おむつ用伸縮性耳部、硬質表面又は皮膚の清掃用拭き取り用品並びにこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される物品であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の不織布ウェブ。
- a.100〜2000g/10分のメルトフローレートを有するポリプロピレンからなり、溶融温度が140℃を越える第一構成成分、及び

前記第二構成成分が前記第一構成成分から空間的に離れた形状を有し、前記空間的に離れた形状は、前記第一構成成分が鞘部であり前記第二構成成分が芯部である鞘部−芯部型、セグメントパイ、リボン型、又は海島型の形状から選択され、前記第一構成成分が前記多成分繊維表面の少なくとも50%含まれる多成分繊維。
