Description
−少なくとも第1の成分及び第2の成分を有する多成分繊維を敷設する工程であって、第1の成分は、第2の成分とは異なる色を有し、第2の成分は、多成分繊維の外側表面の20%未満又は10%未満を形成し、又は第2の成分は、多成分繊維の外側表面に含まれなくてもよい、という工程と、
−結合パターンにより多成分繊維を互いに結合する工程と、を含み、
結合領域は第1の色を有し、及び、非結合領域は第1の色とは異なる第2の色を有する。結合領域の第1の色と非結合領域の第2の色との間の差異は、実質的に多成分繊維の成分の色における差異によって誘発される。結合領域と非結合領域との間のデルタE*は、少なくとも0.5、又は少なくとも1.0、又は少なくとも2.5、又は少なくとも3.0、又は少なくとも4.0、又は少なくとも5.0、又は少なくとも10、又は少なくとも15である。
「吸収性物品」とは、身体排泄物を吸収し、封じ込める装置を、より具体的には、身体より排泄される様々な排泄物を吸収及び封じ込めるための、着用者の身体に接して、又はこれと近接するように配置された装置を指す。吸収性物品は、おむつ(乳幼児用おむつ又は成人用失禁おむつ)、パンツ、生理用ナプキン又は生理用パッド等の女性用衛生用品、胸パッド、介護用マット、涎掛け、拭き取り用品等を含み得る。本明細書で使用するとき、用語「排出物」には、尿、血液、膣排泄物、母乳、汗、及び糞便が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。本発明の好ましい吸収性物品には、おむつ、パンツ、生理用ナプキン、生理用パッド、及び個人衛生用ウェットシートのような拭き取り用品がある。
本発明の不織布ウェブを含む典型的な使い捨て吸収性物品をおむつ20の形態で図1に示す。
本発明は、二成分繊維等の多成分繊維を含む又はこれからなる不織布ウェブに関する。
a)第1の成分が、第2の成分の顔料とは異なる顔料を含むこと、又は
b)第1の成分が、顔料の異なる組み合わせを含むこと、又は
c)第1の成分が、第2の成分に対して同じ顔料の異なる量を含むこと、例えば、第1の成分が、第2の成分の少なくとも5倍、又は少なくとも10倍の量の同じ顔料を有してもよいこと、又は、
d)選択肢a)〜c)の任意の組み合わせを意味する。
多成分繊維は、敷設される。多成分繊維は、互いに色が異なる少なくとも第1の成分及び第2の成分を有する。第2の成分は、多成分繊維の外側表面の20%未満を形成する。多成分繊維は、少なくとも第1の成分及び第2の成分を有する、多成分繊維とは異なる一成分繊維又は多成分繊維等のその他の繊維と共に敷設されてもよく、これは互いに色が異なり、第2の成分は、多成分繊維の外側表面の20%未満を形成する。繊維は、概してベルトやドラム等の支持部材上に敷設される。不織布ウェブが複数の層を含む場合、異なる層の繊維は、引き続き積み重ねられて敷設される。1つの、1つ以上又は全ての層はその後、少なくとも第1の成分及び第2の成分を有する多成分繊維を含むか、又は多成分繊維からなってもよく、これは互いに色が異なり、多成分繊維の外側表面の20%未満を形成する第2の成分を持つ。
デルタE*の測定
結合領域と非結合領域の色差分析
結合パターンの色差の測定は、CIE L*a*b*表色系(CIELAB)に基づく。1200dpiで24ビットカラーの最小値を走査することが可能で、カラーマネジメントの手動制御機能を有する、フラットベッドスキャナ(好適なスキャナは、Long Beach CA、Epson America Inc.製のEpson Perfection V750 Proである)を使用して画像を取得する。スキャナを、カラーマネジメントソフトウェア(好適なパッケージは、Grand Rapids,MI、X−Riteから入手可能なMonacoEZColorである)を使用してANSI方式IT8.7/2−1993に準拠したカラー反射ターゲットに対して校正し、スキャナプロファイルを構築する。校正したスキャナプロファイルを、CIE L*a*b*におけるサンプリングをサポートするイメージングプログラム(好適なプログラムは、San Jose,CA、Adobe Systems Inc.から入手可能なPhotoshop S4である)内で開き、結合及び非結合領域を測定する。

面積及び距離の測定を、反射モードにおいて少なくとも4800dpiの解像度でスキャン可能なフラットベッドスキャナを使用して、生成された画像上で実施する(好適なスキャナは、米国、EpsonのEpson Perfection V750 Proである)。分析は、ImageJ software(米国、National Institutes of HealthのVs.1.43u)を使用して実施し、NISTによって認定された定規に対して校正される。
結合領域の縁部を明確に判別することができるように、対象の領域を拡大する。エリアツールで、手動で結合領域の外周をトレースする。面積を0.001mm2の単位まで計算及び記録する。全試料にわたって無作為に選択された合計10個の隣接していない結合領域に対して、繰り返す。サンプルセット毎に、合計3つの実質的に同一の不織布ウェブサンプルを測定する。全30の結合領域の平均と標準偏差を計算する。
結合領域と非結合領域との単一の反復パターンを特定し、その反復パターンがフィールドを埋めるように画像を拡大する。ImageJで、反復パターンを包含するボックスを描画する。結合パターンが結合領域の反復パターンを含まない場合は、結合領域率が、これらのサンプルの平均値として求められるよう、満足のいくまでの複数の異なるサンプルを取り、測定する。必要なサンプル数は、結合パターンがどの程度不均一であるかに依存し得る。(サンプル数は10から100又はそれ以上であってもよい)。ボックスの面積を計算し、0.01mm2の単位まで記録する。次に、面積ツールでボックス内の個々の結合領域又はそれらの部分を全体になぞり、ボックス内の全結合領域又はその部分の面積を計算する。0.01mm2の単位まで記録する。以下の通りに計算する。
材料の不透明度とは、その材料によって遮断される光の度合いである。より高い不透明度値は、その材料がより高度に光を遮断することを示す。不透明度は、0°照明/45°検出、周辺の光学的形状、HunterLab LabScan XE running Universal Software(Hunter Associates Laboratory Inc.(Reston,VA)から入手可能)等のコンピュータインターフェースを有する分光光度計を使用して測定することができる。計器校正及び測定は、販売元による標準白黒校正プレートを使用して行う。全ての試験を約23℃±2℃及び約50%±2%の相対湿度に維持された室内で実施する。標準に設定されたUVフィルタと共に、分光光度計を、XYZカラースケール、D65光源、10°標準観測者に対して構成する。計器を、製造者の手順に従い、3.0センチメートル(1.20インチ)のポート寸法及び2.5センチメートル(1.00インチ)の視野域を使用して標準化する。校正後、ソフトウェアをY不透明度手順に設定する。
不透明度=Y値[(黒色裏材)/Y値[(白色裏材)×100
不織布ウェブの色堅牢度を、「Colorfastness to Crocking:Roatary Vertical Crockmeter Method」と称する試験方法AATCC(米国繊維化学技術・染色技術協会)116〜2005に従って測定する。試験方法の項目1.2に関しては、乾燥サンプルを採取して色堅牢度を測定する。試験試料のサイズは6.5センチメートル2(1インチ2)未満であってもよく、これは試験方法の項目7に示されている。例えば、サンプルは、長さ25mm、幅10mm程に小さくてもよい。
Claims (13)
- 多成分繊維を含む不織布ウェブであって、
該多成分繊維は、少なくとも、白色顔料を含む第1の成分及び非白色顔料を含む第2の成分を有し、該第2の成分は、該多成分繊維の外側表面の20%未満を形成し、該第1及び第2の成分は、互いに色が異なり、
該不織布ウェブは、パターン結合されており、結合領域は第1の色を有し、及び、非結合領域は該第1の色とは異なる第2の色を有し、該結合領域の該第1の色と、該非結合領域の該第2の色との間の差異は、該多成分繊維の該成分の色における差異によって誘発され、
該結合領域と該非結合領域との間のデルタE*は、少なくとも0.5である、不織布ウェブ。 - 前記第1の成分は、前記多成分繊維の前記外側表面の少なくとも50%を形成する、請求項1に記載の不織布ウェブ。
- 前記第1の成分は、30%超の不透明度を有する、請求項1または2に記載の不織布ウェブ。
- 前記第1の成分は、前記多成分繊維の40重量%以上を構成する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の不織布ウェブ。
- 前記第2の成分は、前記多成分繊維の40重量%以上を構成する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の不織布ウェブ。
- 前記多成分繊維は、1つ以上の追加の成分を含み、該1つ以上の追加の成分は、前記繊維の前記外側表面の少なくとも30%を形成し、かつ前記第1の成分と同じ色を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の不織布ウェブ。
- 前記多成分繊維は、1つ以上の追加の成分を含み、該1つ以上の追加の成分は、前記繊維の前記外側表面の20%未満を形成し、かつ前記第2の成分と同じ色を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の不織布ウェブ。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の不織布ウェブを含む、使い捨て吸収性衣類。
- 前記使い捨て吸収性衣類は、おむつ、パンツ、生理用ナプキン、及び、おむつ又はパンツ用の吸収性挿入部材、からなる群から選択され、
当該不織布ウェブは、前記使い捨て吸収性物品のトップシート、バックシート、後方耳部、前方耳部、ランディングゾーン、伸縮性レッグカフ及び/又はバリアレッグカフを形成する、請求項8に記載の不織布ウェブ。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の不織布ウェブを含む、使い捨て清掃用物品。
- 不織布ウェブを作製する方法であって、該方法は、
a)少なくとも、白色顔料を含む第1の成分及び非白色顔料を含む第2の成分を有する多成分繊維を敷設する工程であって、該第1の成分は、該第2の成分と異なる色を有し、該第2の成分は、該多成分繊維の外側表面の20%未満を形成する、という工程と、
b)該多成分繊維を結合パターンにより互いに結合する工程と、を含み、
結合領域は第1の色を有し、及び、非結合領域は該第1の色とは異なる第2の色を有し、該結合領域の該第1の色と、該非結合領域の該第2の色との間の差異は、該多成分繊維の該成分の色における差異によって誘発され、
該結合領域と該非結合領域との間のデルタE*は、少なくとも0.5である、方法。 - 前記繊維は、カーディングプロセス、スパンレイドプロセス、メルトブローンプロセス、及び、これらのプロセスの組み合わせ、からなる群から選択されるプロセスによって敷設される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 複数の繊維の層が、引き続き積み重ねられて敷設され、これらの層のうちの1つ以上は、少なくとも前記第1の成分及び前記第2の成分を有する前記多成分繊維を含むか、又は前記多成分繊維からなり、
