Claims (26)
- 触覚感覚をサウンドデータに関連付けて、前記サウンドデータのナビゲーションおよび編集を支援するための方法において、該方法が、
前記サウンドデータの少なくとも一部分をコンピュータのメモリにロードするステップと、
前記メモリにロードした前記サウンドデータの少なくとも一部分を用いて前記サウンドデータを処理して、前記サウンドデータのサウンド特徴を触覚感覚に指定するステップと、
前記サウンドデータを再生して、オーディオ装置からサウンドを出力するためにオーディオ信号を生成して使用するステップであって、前記サウンドデータのナビゲーションの間、前記コンピュータによってユーザより入力されたユーザ入力によって前記サウンドデータの前記再生が、制御されるように構成されたステップと、

- 前記ユーザが、前記サウンドデータの前記再生の方向を制御することができ、前記方向が順方向および逆方向を含む、請求項20に記載の媒体。
- 前記触覚感覚が前記サウンドデータの前記再生中に連続的に出力され、出力される触覚感覚が、現在再生されている前記サウンドデータの振幅に基づく大きさを持つ、請求項20に記載の媒体。
- 予め定められた特徴を有する前記サウンドデータの特徴が再生されたときにだけ前記触覚感覚が出力される、請求項20に記載の媒体。
- 前記サウンドデータの前記再生中に、前記サウンドデータ中の特定の位置に対して事前に格納されたマーカに達した場合に、前記触覚コマンドの一つが生成され、触覚感覚が出力される、請求項20に記載の媒体。
- 前記触覚感覚は一つ以上の特徴に対応しており、
前記サウンドデータの一部分を二次バッファに格納し、前記サウンドデータの前記再生中に、前記サウンドデータの前記一部分を処理して、前記サウンドデータ内の前記一つ以上の特徴を実時間で見出すステップをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の媒体。
