Description
特許協力条約に基づく本出願は、2015年3月8日に出願され、「Compressible Seal for Rotatable and Translatable Input Mechanisms」と題された、米国仮特許出願第62/129,953号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、その内容は、参照により全体が本明細書内に組み込まれる。

Claims (19)
- 電子デバイスのための入力機構アセンブリであって、
筐体の開口内に少なくとも部分的に配置されているシャフト、及び
前記シャフトに結合されており、隙間によって前記筐体から離隔された操作構造体を含む、
回転可能かつ並進可能な部材と、
前記開口への汚染物の通過を阻止し、前記回転可能かつ並進可能な部材が並進した時につぶれるように構成されている、前記隙間に配置された圧縮可能な封止と、
を備え、前記回転可能かつ並進可能な部材の回転は、前記電子デバイスへの第1の入力を発生し、
前記回転可能かつ並進可能な部材の並進は、前記電子デバイスへの第2の入力を発生し、
前記圧縮可能な封止はベース部分で接続された第1のアームと第2のアームとを含み、
前記第1のアームと前記第2のアームとは、前記回転可能かつ並進可能な部材が並進した時に、互いに向かって移動するように動作可能である、
電子デバイスのための入力機構アセンブリ。 - 前記圧縮可能な封止は、シリコーン、ポリウレタン、水素化ニトリルブタジエンゴム、又はフルオロエラストマのうちの少なくとも1つで形成される、請求項1に記載の入力機構アセンブリ。
- 前記第1のアームは、第1の端部及び第2の端部を有し、
前記第2のアームは、第3の端部及び第4の端部を有し、
前記第1の端部及び前記第3の端部は接続しておらず、
前記第2の端部及び前記第4の端部は接続している、請求項1に記載の入力機構アセンブリ。 - 前記圧縮可能な封止は、前記操作構造体とは異なる材料で形成されているか又は前記操作構造体とは異なる表面処理を有するかの少なくとも1つである、少なくとも1つの構成要素を覆い隠す、請求項1に記載の入力機構アセンブリ。
- 前記回転可能かつ並進可能な部材の回転は、前記圧縮可能な封止には伝達されない、請求項1に記載の入力機構アセンブリ。
- 前記汚染物は、静水圧がかからない液体を含む、請求項1に記載の入力機構アセンブリ。
- 装着型電子デバイスであって、
開口を含む本体と、
クラウンであって、
ノブ、
前記ノブに結合されており、前記開口内に少なくとも部分的に配置された心棒、
前記クラウンの並進により作動可能である、前記クラウンに接続された触知構造体、及び
前記クラウンと前記本体との間に配置されており、前記ノブを前記本体に向かって移動させるように前記クラウンが並進した時に屈曲するように構成された弾性材Yリングを含む、
クラウンと、を備え、
前記弾性材Yリングは、前記ノブとは異なる視覚的見掛けを有する少なくとも1つの構成要素を覆い隠す、装着型電子デバイス。 - 前記弾性材Yリングは、前記本体又は前記クラウンから自由に移動するように動作可能である、請求項7に記載の装着型電子デバイス。
- 前記クラウンの回転は、前記弾性材Yリングに伝達される、請求項7に記載の装着型電子デバイス。
- 前記クラウンと前記本体との間に配置されたガスケットであって、圧縮時に前記ガスケットがその中で拡張するように構成された窪みを規定するように整形される、ガスケットを更に備える、請求項7に記載の装着型電子デバイス。
- 前記弾性材Yリングにより、前記クラウンの前記並進による前記触知構造体の作動に対応する力曲線の形状が変化しない、請求項7に記載の装着型電子デバイス。
- 前記弾性材Yリングは、光の通過を防止するように構成されている、請求項7に記載の装着型電子デバイス。
- 前記弾性材Yリングの仕上げ又は色は、光の通過を防止するように構成されている、請求項12に記載の装着型電子デバイス。
- システムであって、
エンクロージャを含む装着型デバイスと、
前記エンクロージャの開口に結合されたカラーであって、前記カラーは、外側及び内側を有する、カラーと、
第1の部分及び第2の部分を有し、前記カラーに移動可能に接続された入力機構と、
前記エンクロージャと前記入力機構との間に配置された圧縮構造体と、
を備え、前記第1の部分は、少なくとも1つのブッシングを介して前記カラーの前記外側に移動可能に結合されており、
前記第2の部分は、前記入力機構が前記カラーに対して回転及び並進するように動作可能であるように、前記カラーの前記内側内に配置され、
前記圧縮構造体はベース部分で接続された第1のアームと第2のアームとを含み、
前記第1のアームと前記第2のアームとは、前記入力機構が並進した時に、屈曲するように動作可能である、
システム。 - 前記圧縮構造体は、前記エンクロージャ又は前記入力機構のうちの少なくとも1つに固定されている、請求項14に記載のシステム。
