ここで、下記の例を参照しながら、本発明をより詳細に説明する。これらの例は、本発明を説明するためにのみ記載するのであって、本発明の範囲及び精神を制限するものではない。

例1〜7及び比較例1で調製したニッケル-コバルト-マンガン複合遷移金属前駆物質を、Li2CO3と1:1(w/w)の比で混合した。各混合物を昇温速度5℃/分で加熱し、920℃で10時間焼結させ、Li[Ni0.55Co0.2Mn0.25]O2のカソード活性材料粉末を調製した。
例8〜14及び比較例2で調製したコイン電池におけるカソード活性材料の電気的特性を、電気化学的分析装置(Toyo System, Toscat 3100U)を使用し、電圧範囲3.0〜4.25Vで評価した。
Li副生成物値を、例8〜14及び比較例2で調製したリチウム-遷移金属複合酸化物のpH滴定により、確認した。
Claims (7)
- 遷移金属前駆物質であって、
下記式1により表される、複合遷移金属化合物を含んでなり、
リチウム−遷移金属複合酸化物の製造に使用される、遷移金属前駆物質。

[上記式中、Mが、(Ni 0.55 Co 0.2 Mn 0.25 )である。] - 上記式1中、前記Mの酸化数が、前記リチウム−遷移金属複合酸化物中の遷移金属の酸化数に近似するものである、
請求項1に記載の遷移金属前駆物質。 - 上記式1中、前記Mの酸化数が+3に近似する、
請求項2に記載の遷移金属前駆物質。 - 前記複合遷移金属化合物の含有量が、前記遷移金属前駆物質の総重量に対して30重量%以上である、
請求項1に記載の遷移金属前駆物質。 - 前記複合遷移金属化合物の含有量が、前記遷移金属前駆物質の総重量に対して50重量%以上である、
請求項4に記載の遷移金属前駆物質。 - 請求項1に記載の遷移金属前駆物質を使用して製造される、
リチウム−遷移金属複合酸化物。 - 請求項6に記載のリチウム−遷移金属複合酸化物をカソード活性材料として備えてなる、
リチウム二次バッテリー。
