Description
基材上にマスクを設ける工程と、
マスクが形成された前記基材に触媒層用ペーストを塗布した後、前記触媒層用ペーストを仮乾燥する工程と、
前記仮乾燥の後、前記触媒層用ペーストが溶媒を含んで湿潤状態である最中に、前記マスクを除去するとともに、前記触媒層用ペーストの外周縁部の一部を前記マスクに同伴して前記基材から除去する工程と、
前記触媒層用ペーストを本乾燥し、その外周縁部が、厚み方向寸法が変化することに伴って縁部先端になるにつれて、前記基材に接しながら先細りする電極触媒層を前記基材上に得る工程と、
前記電極触媒層を前記基材から前記固体高分子電解質膜に転写する工程と、
前記電極触媒層に対してガス拡散層を積層して前記アノード電極又は前記カソード電極を得る工程と、
を有することを特徴とする。

Claims (2)
- アノード電極とカソード電極が固体高分子電解質膜を挟んで構成される電解質膜・電極構造体を有する固体高分子形燃料電池の製造方法において、
基材上にマスクを設ける工程と、
マスクが形成された前記基材に触媒層用ペーストを塗布した後、前記触媒層用ペーストを仮乾燥する工程と、
前記仮乾燥の後、前記触媒層用ペーストが溶媒を含んで湿潤状態である最中に、前記マスクを除去するとともに、前記触媒層用ペーストの外周縁部の一部を前記マスクに同伴して前記基材から除去する工程と、
前記触媒層用ペーストを本乾燥し、その外周縁部が、厚み方向寸法が変化することに伴って縁部先端になるにつれて、前記基材に接しながら先細りする電極触媒層を前記基材上に得る工程と、
前記電極触媒層を前記基材から前記固体高分子電解質膜に転写する工程と、
前記電極触媒層に対してガス拡散層を積層して前記アノード電極又は前記カソード電極を得る工程と、
を有することを特徴とする固体高分子形燃料電池の製造方法。 - 請求項1記載の製造方法において、前記アノード電極又は前記カソード電極の少なくともいずれか一方の電極触媒層の外周縁部を、傾斜部として形成することを特徴とする固体高分子形燃料電池の製造方法。
