Description

光出射表面20は、光導波路体18を通って導かれた光源24の光を、少なくとも一部は透明なフィルム16内部に結合し、その結果、光表示素子10の関連するリング14が照明される。
Claims (8)
- 共通軸(12)を中心として同心円状であり、選択的に活性化されるようになされた関連する光源(24)からの光を内部に結合する光入射表面(22)を有する光導波路体(18)それぞれの光出射表面(20)により得られる複数の選択的に照明可能なリング(14)からなる光表示素子(10)であって、前記光入射表面(22)は、前記共通軸(12)に関して、前記光出射表面(20)よりも大きな半径範囲を有し、前記光導波路体(18)は、直接半径方向に隣接する遮光性のある側部表面(30)を有し、
前記光導波路体(18)の前記光出射表面(20)は、前記光入射表面(22)に向かって広がる側部表面(30)により前記光入射表面(22)に接続されている、光表示素子(10)。 - 請求項1に記載の光表示素子(10)において、前記光導波路体(18)の前記光入射表面(22)は共通平面内にあり、前記光源(24)は、前記光入射表面(22)に対向して前記光入射表面(22)からわずかに離れた距離に位置するプリント回路板(26)上に配置されている、光表示素子(10)。
- 請求項2に記載の光表示素子(10)において、前記光導波路体(18)は、光障壁(28)により隣り合う光導波路体(18)の光源(24)からの光に対して遮蔽されている、光表示素子(10)。
- 請求項1に記載の光表示素子(10)において、より一層外側に位置する光導波路体(18)の前記側部表面(30)は、より一層内側に位置する光導波路体(18)の前記側部表面(30)よりも大きく広がる、光表示素子(10)。
- 請求項1または4に記載の光表示素子(10)において、前記光導波路体(18)の前記側部表面(30)は互いに直接隣接した状態にあり、前記光出射表面(20)に隣接して、前記照明可能なリング(14)の半径方向距離を決定するくさび形のギャップ(34)それぞれが、隣り合う側部表面(30)間に残る、光表示素子(10)。
- 請求項5に記載の光表示素子(10)において、隣り合う照明可能なリング(14)間の前記半径方向距離は、0.1mmと0.3mmの間となる、光表示素子(10)。
- 請求項6に記載の光表示素子(10)において、隣り合う照明可能なリング(14)間の前記半径方向距離は約0.2mmとなる、光表示素子(10)。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の光表示素子(10)において、前記光導波路体(18)の前記側部表面(30)は遮光性のあるコーティング(32)を有することを特徴とする、光表示素子(10)。
