Description
複数の分割領域及び導電性ビアホールを有する基板と、前記複数の分割領域のそれぞれの分割領域において、それぞれが複数のLEDを含む、複数のクラスタと、前記複数の分割領域は行列構造を有し、一つの行ごとに一つずつ形成され、かつ、前記一つの行のはじの分割領域の端面に配置されたコネクタと、前記基板の上面において前記複数の分割領域内のそれぞれで、前記複数のクラスタを直列に連結する第1リードパターンと、前記基板の下面に形成された第2リードパターンと、前記複数のLEDの下部に設けられた、前記基板の上面と下面を貫通する複数の放熱用ビアホールと、前記基板の下面に接して配置された絶縁性放熱パッドと、を備え、前記複数のクラスタは、それぞれの前記分割領域において行列方向にマトリクス状に配置され、前記第2リードパターンは、前記導電性ビアホールを通して前記一つの行のはじの分割領域を除くそれぞれの分割領域における前記第1リードパターンと、当該分割領域の行における前記コネクタとを電気的に連結し、前記導電性ビアホールは、前記一つの行のはじの分割領域を除く前記分割領域ごとに設けられ、前記コネクタと隣接する分割領域の前記第1リードパターンは、前記コネクタと直接連結されることを特徴とする。

Claims (4)
- 複数の分割領域及び導電性ビアホールを有する基板と、
前記複数の分割領域のそれぞれの分割領域において、それぞれが複数のLEDを含
む、複数のクラスタと、
前記複数の分割領域は行列構造を有し、一つの行ごとに一つずつ形成され、かつ、
前記一つの行のはじの分割領域の端面に配置されたコネクタと、
前記基板の上面において前記複数の分割領域内のそれぞれで、前記複数のクラスタ
を直列に連結する第1リードパターンと、
前記基板の下面に形成された第2リードパターンと、
前記複数のLEDの下部に設けられた、前記基板の上面と下面を貫通する複数の放
熱用ビアホールと、
前記基板の下面に接して配置された絶縁性放熱パッドと、
を備え、
前記複数のクラスタは、それぞれの前記分割領域において行列方向にマトリクス状
に配置され、
前記第2リードパターンは、前記導電性ビアホールを通して前記一つの行のはじの
分割領域を除くそれぞれの分割領域における前記第1リードパターンと、当該分割領
域の行における前記コネクタと、を電気的に連結し、
前記導電性ビアホールは、前記一つの行のはじの分割領域を除く前記分割領域ごと
に設けられ、
前記コネクタと隣接する分割領域の前記第1リードパターンは、前記コネクタと直
接連結されることを特徴とするバックライト。 - 前記複数のクラスタの各々のクラスタは、赤色LED、青色LED、および、緑色
LEDを含み、
前記複数のクラスタの各々のクラスタにおいて、前記赤色LED、青色LED、お
よび、緑色LEDは正三角形および逆正三角形の各頂点に配置されており、
行方向において隣接するクラスタが互いに正三角形と逆正三角形の関係にあり、
列方向において隣接するクラスタが互いに同一の正正三角形または同一の逆三角形の
関係にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライト。 - 前記基板はFR4からなり、前記絶縁性放熱パッドはSiからなることを特徴とす
る請求項1又は2に記載のバックライト。 - 請求項1又は3に記載のバックライトを備えることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
