Description
実施例1、2、3及び4は、25mmの共回転ベルストルフ(Berstorff)ZE25型2軸成形機(ベルストルフUSA(Berstorff USA)(ケンタッキー州フローレンス(Florence))から入手可能)を用いて製造した。押出成形機は10箇所のバレルゾーンを備えており、それぞれ別個に加熱した。溶解ポンプを押出成形機の末端部にて使用して、ポリマー溶解物を30.5cm(12インチ)のコートハンガーダイ(ウィスコンシン州チペワフォールズ(Chippewa Falls)のエクストルージョン・ダイズ社(Extrusion Dies, Inc)から入手可能)へ供給した。前記ダイは、調整可能なリップを備えた、公称1.27mm(0.050インチ)のダイ開口部を有した。フィルムダイを通して押し出されたフィルムを、続いて、キャスティングロールで支持される非付着性非シリコーン非フルオロポリマー紙製ライナー上にキャストした。フィルム厚さは、ダイ中のダイボルトにより、かつ巻き取り速度の維持により制御した。
実施例5及び6では、反応性コーティングについて説明する。反応性コーティングでは、モノマーを混合し、2枚の非付着性非シリコーン非フルオロポリマー剥離ライナー間にコーティングした。次いで、モノマーを熱硬化して、ポリマーフィルムを作製した。ポリオール又はポリアミンモノマーを、任意に触媒と共に、25mLのポリエチレンカップ内で予備混合した。この混合物にイソシアネート(デスモジュールW(Desmodur W))を加え、混合した。次いでこの反応混合物を、0.05又は0.10mm(2又は4ミル)厚の剥離ライナー上に速やかに注いだ。更なる剥離ライナーを反応混合物の上部に置いて、サンドイッチ構造を作製した。次いでこの作製物を、コーティングナイフセットの下部で予め定められた厚さで引いて均一な厚さのフィルムを作製し、続いて70℃で1時間加熱して硬化させた。
実施例1、2及び3のフィルムを、300keVの最大加速電圧、かつ単一経路で20kGyの量を放出するのに十分な電流にて操作したESIの「エレクトロカーテン(Electrocurtain)」CB−300を用い、eビーム照射により架橋した。
フィルムの架橋が成功したかどうかを判断するために、サンプルをヒートガンにさらした。容易に融解されなかったものを、架橋の成功とした。具体的には、eビームが照射され、かつ容易に融解されなかったもので、同じフィルムの非照射サンプルが溶解したものを、架橋されたとした。
7.6cm(3インチ)×20.3cm(8インチ)のアルミニウムパネルに、Deft02−Y−40A(規格MIL−PRF−23377j)エポキシプライマーを塗り、続いてDeft 99−GY−001(規格MIL−PRF−85285D)ミリタリーグレー塗料を塗ることにより準備を行った。塗布済みのパネルに、7.6cm×7.6cm(3インチ×3インチ)角の試験される実施例テープ、並びに7.6cm×7.6cm(3インチ×3インチ)角のPPT 8681 HS、PPT 8673、及びPPT 8667 HSから選択された比較テープを貼付した。このパネルを周囲条件で24時間放置し、湿度チャンバ内で、45℃、95%RHで7時間調湿した。パネルを湿度チャンバから取り出し、直ちに125℃に設定したホットプレート上に置いた。サンプルを5分間加熱し、取り除いた。
実施例1のフィルムを押出成形で製造した。クリスタルグラン(Krystalgran)ポリウレタンペレット及びCN996をブレンドし、ポリエチレンコート紙製ライナー上に押し出し、0.66mm(26ミル)の公称厚さのフィルムに成形した。押出成形機内への材料流量は、ポリウレタンが1.51g/秒(12.0lb/時)、灰色顔料が0.06g/秒(0.5lb/時)、CN996が0.13g/秒(1.0lb/時)であった。続いてこのフィルムの開放面を16Mradでeビーム照射し、次いで紙製ライナー側から4Mradで照射し、両方とも速度は0.112m/秒(22ft/分)とした。このフィルムは架橋されたと判定された。
実施例2のフィルムを反応性押出成形で製造した。実施例2で使用したポリオール溶液の組成を表IIIに示す。イソシアネート及びポリオール溶液の両方に対する供給速度及びポンプ設定を表IVに示す。ポリマーを、ポリエチレンコート紙製ライナー上に0.76mm(30ミル)の公称厚さのフィルムとして押し出した。
実施例3のフィルムを反応性押出成形で製造した。実施例3で使用したポリオール溶液の組成を表IIIに示す。イソシアネート及びポリオール溶液に対する供給速度及びポンプ設定を表IVに示す。ポリマーを、ポリエチレンコート紙製ライナー上に0.64mm(25ミル)の公称厚さのフィルムとして押し出した。
実施例4のフィルムを反応性押出成形で製造した。実施例4で使用したポリオール溶液の組成を表IIIに示す。イソシアネート及びポリオール溶液に対する供給速度及びポンプ設定を表IVに示す。ポリマーを、ポリエチレンコート紙製ライナー上に0.89mm(35ミル)の公称厚さのフィルムとして押し出した。
実施例5のフィルムを、0.05mm(2ミル)厚の非付着性非シリコーン非フルオロポリマーPET製剥離ライナーを用いて反応性コーティングで製造して、0.15mm(6ミル)厚のフィルムを作製した。用いた組成を表Vに示す。
実施例6のフィルムを、0.10mm(4ミル)厚の線状低密度ポリエチレン製剥離ライナーを用いて反応性コーティングで製造して、0.25mm(10ミル)厚のフィルムを作製した。用いた組成を表VIに示す。

- a)i)外部表面を有する航空機外板セグメントと、
ii)65℃超の温度まで前記外部表面を加熱可能な、前記航空機外板セグメントと組み合わさった除氷機構と、
を備える航空機の要素と、
b)i)架橋されたアクリルポリマーと、ポリウレタン、ポリ尿素、及び混合ポリウレタン/ポリ尿素ポリマーからなる群から選択される非架橋ポリマーと、を含む半相互貫入ポリマーネットワークを含む少なくとも1つの層と、
ii)接着剤層と、
を含むテープと、
を含む構成体であって、
前記テープが、前記航空機外板セグメントの前記外部表面に前記接着剤層により接着される、耐浸食性構成体。
