Description
射出成形、ガス射出成形、押出及び押出吹込成形などの技術による成形を目的とした熱可塑性物質の場合に制御することが望まれる場合が多い特性としては、剛性、衝撃強度、特に比較的高温での寸法安定性、低い成形後収縮性、様々な方法による被覆能力、外観及び密度が挙げられる。これらの特性は、重合体を選択することや重合体に様々な性質の化合物を添加することによって所定の制限なしに制御できる。後者の添加の場合には、重合体組成物という用語を使用する。所定の用途のための材料の選択は、一般に、所定の特性に対して要求される性能レベルと、そのコストとに左右される。その目的は、常に、性能及び/又はコストの観点から基準を満たすことのできる新規な材料を獲得することである。ポリアミドは、例えば、特に自動車産業の部門で幅広く使用されている材料である。
出願人は、従来のポリアミド組成物と比較して増加したメルトフローと同等又は優れた機械的性質とを示し、かつ、高レベルの充填剤を含んでいても優れた外観を有する物品を製造することを可能にするポリアミド組成物を公開する。さらに、これらの組成物は、対象の成形プロセス、特に射出成形において処理加工するのが容易であると考えられる。
(a)カルボン酸官能基又はアミン官能基を有する一官能性化合物及び/又は二官能性化合物の存在下でポリアミドPA−6,6の単量体を重合させる方法によって得られたPA−6,6型のポリアミド;
(b)該組成物の総重量に対して45重量%以上の補強充填剤含有量;
(c)次の関係に従う見掛け溶融粘度(Pa.s):

・PA1:4.5g/10分のMFI(基準法ISO1133に従い325gの負荷下において275℃で測定)及び135mL/gのVI(基準法ISO307に従う)を有するポリアミド6,6。次の末端基の含有量:TAG=50meq/kg、TCG=80meq/kg。
・PA2:30g/10分のMFI及び98mL/gのVIを有するポリアミド6,6。次の末端基の含有量:TAG=30meq/kg、TCG=93meq/kg。重合開始時に0.5mol%の酢酸を添加することにより得られた。
・PA3:27g/10分のMFI及び101mL/gのVIを有するポリアミド6,6。次の末端基の含有量:TCG=65meq/kg、TAG=50meq/kg。重合開始時に0.6mol%の酢酸及び0.4mol%のヘキサメチレンジアミンを添加することによって得られた。
・ガラス繊維:Vetrotex995。
・熱安定剤:CuI及びKI(それぞれ、<0.02%及び<0.1重量%の割合)。
・添加剤:EBSワックス及びFerroplast社が54/1033という商品名で販売するニグロシン。
Claims (10)
- 少なくとも:
(a)一官能性化合物としての酢酸の他に、任意にカルボン酸官能基又はアミン官能基を有する二官能性化合物の存在下でポリアミドPA−6,6の単量体を重合させる方法によって得られたPA−6,6型のポリアミド;
(b)該組成物の総重量に対して45重量%以上の補強充填剤含有量;
(c)次の関係に従う見掛け溶融粘度(Pa.s):
η100≦30(X)−800
η1000≦11(X)−280
(式中、ηは、275℃の温度で、100s-1の剪断速度(η100)又は1000s-1の剪断速度(η1000)のいずれかで測定された該ポリアミド組成物の見掛け溶融粘度であり、Xは、該組成物の総重量に対する補強充填剤の重量割合に相当する。)
を有し、該ポリアミドが、ISO1133基準法に従い275℃の温度、325gの負荷で測定される、10g/10分以上のメルトフローインデックスを有する、組成物。 - 前記ポリアミドが3000〜17000g/molの分子量Mnを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記補強充填剤が繊維充填剤及び/又は非繊維充填剤よりなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- 前記充填剤が、ガラス繊維、炭素繊維及び/又は天然繊維よりなる群から選択される繊維充填剤であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記充填剤が、微粒子充填剤、層状充填剤及び/又は剥離性若しくは非剥離性ナノ充填剤よりなる群から選択される非繊維充填剤であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記微粒子充填剤、前記層状充填剤及び/又は前記剥離性若しくは非剥離性ナノ充填剤がアルミナ、カーボンブラック、クレー、リン酸ジルコニウム、カオリン、炭酸カルシウム、銅、珪藻土、グラファイト、マイカ、シリカ、二酸化チタン、ゼオライト、タルク、ウォラストナイト、重合体充填剤、ガラスビーズ及びガラス粉末から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 補強充填剤の含有量が前記組成物の総重量に対して50〜80重量%の補強充填剤であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が衝撃改質剤を含まない、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の組成物を射出成形装置に導入し、次いで成形操作を実施する、射出成形方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の組成物を含む成形物品。
