Description
―物品の表面に付着する少なくとも1種の結合剤で結合されたナノ粒子を含む第1層と、
―前記第1層の少なくとも一部を被覆する防汚トップコートである第2層と
を含むナノ構造膜である。
a) 少なくとも一つの表面を有する物品を用意し、
b) 物品の前記表面の少なくとも一部の上に、物品の前記表面に付着する少なくとも1種の結合剤で結合されたナノ粒子を含む第1層を形成し、
c) 前記第1層の少なくとも一部の上に防汚トップコートの層をデポジットし、
d) 静的水接触角が少なくとも115°に等しくなるような表面粗さを有する超高疎水性ナノ構造膜で少なくとも部分的に被覆された表面を有する物品を回収する
工程を含む。
b1) 物品の前記表面の少なくとも一部の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットし、
b2) 工程b1)でデポジットしたばかりの層の上にナノ粒子を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットし、
b3) デポジットした各層を硬化させる
工程を含む。
b4) 物品の前記表面の少なくとも一部の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤とナノ粒子とを含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットし、
b5) デポジットした各層を硬化させる
工程を含む。
A) 工程b2)または工程b4)で得られた層に対して工程b1)およびb2)を1回以上行なうか、
B) 工程b2)または工程b4)で得られた層に対して工程b4)を1回以上行なうか、または
C) 工程b2)または工程b4)で得られた層に対して、実施形態A)およびB)の操作を任意の順序で組み合わせて1回以上行なう。
工程b2)または工程b4)で得られた層に対して工程b’1)およびb’2):
b’1) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程、および
b’2) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上にナノ粒子を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程
を1回以上行なう方法
と言うことができる。
工程b2)または工程b4)で得られた層に対して工程b’4):
b’4) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤とナノ粒子とを含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程
を1回以上行なう方法
と言うことができる。
工程b2)または工程b4)で得られた層に対して、
i) 工程b’1)およびb’2)と、
ii)工程b’4)と
を任意の順序で組み合わせて1回以上行なう方法
と言うことができ、その際工程b’1)、b’2)およびb’4)は先に規定したとおりである。
その際、被覆された本発明の物品の光透過率Tは少なくとも可視スペクトル波長域において85%より高く、より好ましくは90%より高く、さらに好ましくは92%を越え、曇り度は0.8未満、好ましくは0.5未満である。
グラフティングを施されるナノ粒子は、反応性基を有していてもいなくてもよい。
CF3CH2CH2SiCl3;
測定用の試料は三つずつ用意した。報告するデータは三つのデータの平均として算出したものである。対照試料として、市販レンズを防汚トップコート(Optool DSX)で直接被覆したものを用いた。
結合剤(Glymo: 1、3または10%)、0.1N HCl(0.23%)、「1034A」と呼称されるSiO2ナノ粒子の水溶液(粒径15nm; 1.45%)、SiO2ナノ粒子の水溶液(粒径100nm; 2.50%; 乾燥粒子で1%)、2−ブタノン(0.17%)、硬化触媒のAl(AcAc)3(0.07%)、界面活性剤(0.005%)、およびメタノールを質量に基づき記載した比率で含有する被覆溶液をAirwearTM眼科用レンズにスピンコーティングまたはディップコーティングによってデポジットした。上記被覆溶液において、1034Aナノ粒子は被膜の硬度および耐摩耗性の改善のためにのみ用いられている。
下記の実験で用いた物品は、商品名AirwearTMの下に販売されている、ポリカーボネート(PC)基体を含む眼科用レンズ製品か、または商品名T&L(Thin and Lite)の下に販売されている、高屈折率ポリウレタン基体を含む眼科用レンズ製品であった。
**:これらの測定は摩耗試験後に行なった。
Glymo、HClおよび1034Aを攪拌下に12時間混合し、次いで混合物に、メタノール(溶媒)、SiO2Cナノ粒子(粒径100nm)を分散させた水溶液、2−ブタノン、Al(AcAc)3、および界面活性剤(FC−430)を添加することによって被覆溶液を調製した。
**:特に断らないかぎり、スピンコーティング速度は500/1000rpmとした。
***:スピンコーティング速度500/1500rpm。
**:これらの測定は摩耗試験後に行なった。

Claims (47)
- 少なくとも一つの表面を有する物品であって、
前記表面は少なくとも115°に等しい静的水接触角を示すような表面粗さを有する超高疎水性膜で少なくとも部分的に被覆され、前記膜は、
エポキシアルコキシシラン化合物の加水分解物を含み、前記物品の表面に付着する少なくとも1種の結合剤で結合された、前記結合剤と少なくとも1種の共有結合を形成することができる反応性基を有するナノ粒子であって、その表面が前記エポキシアルコキシシラン化合物の加水分解物を含む結合剤と共有結合を形成するシラノール基を含むナノ粒子を含む第1層と、
前記第1層の少なくとも一部を被覆する、少なくとも1種のフッ素化化合物を含む液状被覆材料から作製される防汚トップコートである第2層と
を含むナノ構造膜である物品。 - 前記ナノ粒子の粒径が150nm以下である、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記第1層が粒径20〜100nmのナノ粒子を含む、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 静的水接触角が少なくとも120°に等しい、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 静的水接触角が150°以下である、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記膜のRMS表面粗さが5〜50nmである、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記防汚トップコートがパーフルオロプロピレン部分を有するフッ素主体の樹脂を含む、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記防汚トップコートが、フッ素化炭化水素、パーフルオロカーボン、フッ素化ポリエーテルおよびパーフルオロポリエーテルの中から選択される少なくとも1種の基を有する1種以上のシランまたはシラザンを含む、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記防汚トップコートが物品の表面エネルギーを20mJ/m2未満に低下させる、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記防汚トップコートが物品の表面エネルギーを14mJ/m2未満に低下させる、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記防汚トップコートが物品の表面エネルギーを12mJ/m2未満に低下させる、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記結合剤が架橋可能な化合物である、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記結合剤が物品表面の基と少なくとも1種の共有結合を形成し得る化合物である、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記結合剤がナノ粒子表面の基と少なくとも1種の共有結合を形成し得る化合物である、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記結合剤がナノ粒子表面の基とも物品表面の基とも共有結合を形成し得る化合物である、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 被覆された前記物品の光透過率Tが少なくとも可視スペクトル波長域において85%より高い、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 被覆された前記物品の光透過率Tが少なくとも可視スペクトル波長域において90%より高い、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の物品。
- 被覆された前記物品の可視域反射が3%未満である、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記ナノ粒子が金属もしくは半金属の酸化物、窒化物、フッ化物、またはこれらの混合物の中から選択される無機質のナノ粒子である、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記無機質のナノ粒子が酸化アルミニウム、酸化ケイ素、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化チタン、酸化アンチモン、酸化タンタル、酸化亜鉛、酸化スズ、酸化インジウム、酸化セリウム、Si3N4、MgF2、またはこれらの混合物のナノ粒子の中から選択される、請求項19に記載の物品。
- 前記結合剤および前記ナノ粒子が前記第1層に、結合剤対ナノ粒子の質量比が2:1〜1:15となるような量で含まれる、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記結合剤および前記ナノ粒子が前記第1層に、結合剤対ナノ粒子の質量比が1:1〜1:15となるような量で含まれる、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記結合剤および前記ナノ粒子が前記第1層に、結合剤対ナノ粒子の質量比が1:1.1〜1:10となるような量で含まれる、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記結合剤および前記ナノ粒子が前記第1層に、結合剤対ナノ粒子の質量比が1:1.2〜1:10となるような量で含まれる、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記膜が多様な長さスケールの粗さを示す、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記第1層が多様な粒径範囲のナノ粒子を含む、請求項25に記載の物品。
- 前記第1層の付着する物品の表面がナノ構造化表面である、請求項25に記載の物品。
- 前記膜の物理的厚みが50〜700nmである、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記第1層の物理的厚みが30〜250nmである、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 物品が金属、合金、セラミック、ガラス、木材、模造木材、複合材、塗料面、合成ポリマー、石材の中から選択された材料から成る、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 物品が光学品である、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 物品が眼科用レンズまたはレンズブランクである、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 少なくとも一つの表面の少なくとも一部を超高疎水性膜で被覆された前記物品が最も外側の被覆層で被覆された基体を含み、前記最も外側の被覆層は耐摩耗性および/または耐引掻き性被膜、耐衝撃性被膜、または単層もしくは多層反射防止被膜の中から選択される、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 請求項1から33のいずれかに記載の被覆された物品を得る方法であって、
a) 少なくとも一つの表面を有する物品を用意し、
b) 物品の前記表面の少なくとも一部の上に、物品の前記表面に付着する少なくとも1種の結合剤で結合されたナノ粒子を含む第1層を形成し、
c) 前記第1層の少なくとも一部の上に防汚トップコートの層をデポジットし、
d) 静的水接触角が少なくとも115°に等しくなるような表面粗さを有する超高疎水性ナノ構造膜で少なくとも部分的に被覆された表面を有する物品を回収する工程を含む方法。 - 前記第1層の形成が、
b1) 物品の前記表面の少なくとも一部の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットし、
b2) 工程b1)でデポジットしたばかりの層の上にナノ粒子を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットし、
b3) デポジットした各層を硬化させる
工程を含む、請求項34に記載の方法。 - 前記第1層の形成が、
b4) 物品の前記表面の少なくとも一部の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤とナノ粒子とを含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットし、
b5) デポジットした各層を硬化させる
工程を含む、請求項34に記載の方法。 - 工程b2)で得られた層に対して工程b’1)およびb’2):
b’1) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程、および
b’2) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上にナノ粒子を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程
を1回以上行なう、請求項35に記載の方法。 - 工程b4)で得られた層に対して工程b’1)およびb’2):
b’1) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程、および
b’2) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上にナノ粒子を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程
を1回以上行なう、請求項36に記載の方法。 - 工程b2)で得られた層に対して工程b’4):
b’4) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤とナノ粒子とを含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程
を1回以上行なう、請求項35に記載の方法。 - 工程b4)で得られた層に対して工程b’4):
b’4) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤とナノ粒子とを含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程
を1回以上行なう、請求項36に記載の方法。 - 工程b2)で得られた層に対して、
i) 工程b’1)およびb’2)と、
ii)工程b’4)と
を任意の順序で組み合わせて1回以上行ない、工程b’1)、b’2)およびb’4)はb’1) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程、および
b’2) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上にナノ粒子を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程、
b’4) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤とナノ粒子とを含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程
である、請求項35に記載の方法。 - 工程b4)で得られた層に対して、
i) 工程b’1)およびb’2)と、
ii)工程b’4)と
を任意の順序で組み合わせて1回以上行ない、工程b’1)、b’2)およびb’4)はb’1) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程、および
b’2) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上にナノ粒子を含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程、
b’4) 先行工程でデポジットしたばかりの層の上に少なくとも1種の結合剤とナノ粒子とを含む被覆溶液の層をデポジットする工程
である、請求項36に記載の方法。 - ナノ粒子が多様な粒径範囲のナノ粒子の混合物である、請求項34から42のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1回の工程b’2)で用いられるナノ粒子の粒径範囲が最初にデポジットされたナノ粒子と同じでない、請求項37、38、41または42のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1回の工程b’4)で用いられるナノ粒子の粒径範囲が最初にデポジットされたナノ粒子と同じでない、請求項39から42のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 用意された物品の表面がナノ構造化表面である、請求項34に記載の方法。
- 前記ナノ構造化表面が型押し、成形、またはトランスファー成形によって作られたものである、請求項46に記載の方法。
