Description
本願での使用に望ましいジウレア化合物は、次式で表されるものである。
R1NH-CO-HH-C6H4-P-CH2-C6H4-P-NH-CO-NHR2
(式中、R1,R2:炭素数8〜20の脂肪族の炭化水素基。R1とR2は同一でも異なっても良い)
ポリウレア化合物は、例えば、ジイソアネートとモノアミン、ジアミンとの反応で得られる。ジイソシアネート、モノアミンとしては、ジウレア化合物の生成に用いられるものと同様のものが挙げられ、ジアミンとしては、エチレンジアミン、プロパンジアミン、ブタンジアミン、ヘキサンジアミン、オクタンジアミン、フェニレンジアミン、トリレンジアミン、キシレンジアミン、ジアミノジフェニルメタン等が挙げられる。
表2の各実施例、参考例および比較例は、いずれも実施形態で構造を説明したボールが8個のアンダーカットフリータイプの固定型等速自在継手である。
増ちょう剤は、実施例2および実施例3では、R1、R2が脂肪族の炭化水素基であるジウレア化合物でR1およびR2が炭素数8のものである。実施例1、参考例1〜参考例4および比較例1〜比較例4では、R1、R2が脂肪族の炭化水素基であるジウレア化合物でR1が炭素数8およびR2が炭素数18のものである。
表中のポリ−α−オレフィンは40℃動粘度420mm2/sのものを使用した。エステル系オイルは、トリメリット酸トリアルキルエステル(流動点:-50℃、40℃の動粘度:53mm2/s)である。
冷時異音を計測する試験機を図5に示す。冷時異音の試験条件は、各実施例、参考例および比較例ともに次のとおりである。

冷蔵温度:−40℃で6時間以上冷蔵
内側継手部材に貼り付けた熱電対により、試験直前の継手内部温度を計測し、継手内部
温度が−30℃のときの異音レベルを集音マイクにて計測した。その測定結果を表2に示
す。
表中の評価基準は次のとおりである。
◎:優れる、○:良好、△:やや劣る、×:不良
ラフィン系鉱物油80質量%からなる基油を同じ条件として、R1が炭素数8およびR2が炭素数18の脂肪族ジウレア化合物とした増ちょう剤の配合量のみを変化させた参考例1、参考例3、参考例4、比較例3および比較例4の冷時異音の計測結果および初期ちょう度を比較した。その結果、増ちょう剤配合量8質量%の参考例1、同6質量%の参考例3および同3質量%の参考例4は冷時異音の評価結果が良好で、かつ、初期ちょう度の面
でも問題ないことが分かった。この結果より、増ちょう剤の配合量は3〜8質量%が望ま
しいことが分かった。
冷時異音の抑制において優れているのは、実施例1、実施例2、実施例3、参考例3および参考例4であることが分かった。
参考例1および参考例2の冷時異音の抑制効果は、上記の実施例1〜3、参考例3、参考例4のレベルにはないが、良好であった。また、グリースの初期ちょう度、ブーツの膨潤性、コスト面でも良好であった。
実施例1および実施例2は、ブーツの膨潤性という面でやや劣るという結果になったが、実用上問題のないレベルであった。
比較例2および比較例4は冷時異音の抑制という面では優れるが、グリースの初期ちょう度の不足やコスト面で問題があった。比較例1および比較例3は、冷時異音の抑制効果が劣っていた。
また、参考例2の結果より、基油として含まれる潤滑油成分の全質量に対し、パラフィン系鉱物油と合成炭化水素油であるポリ−α−オレフィンを80質量%含有すれば、冷時異音の抑制において良好であることが分かった。
上記参考例2の結果より、パラフィン系鉱物油を潤滑油成分の全質量に対し70質量%、
合成炭化水素油であるポリ−α−オレフィンを10質量%含有するというコスト的に有利
な基油でも、冷時異音の抑制において良好であることも分かった。

Claims (8)
- 内径面に複数のトラック溝が形成された外側継手部材と、外周面に複数のトラック溝が形成された内側継手部材と、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と内側継手部材のトラック溝との間に介在してトルクを伝達する複数のボールと、このボールを保持するケージとを備え、継手内部にグリースを封入した固定型等速自在継手において、前記グリースは、基油として含まれる潤滑油成分の全質量に対して、パラフィン系鉱物油、又はパラフィン系鉱物油と合成炭化水素油の混合油を95質量%以上含有すると共に、前記パラフィン系鉱物油と合成炭化水素油の混合油の場合にパラフィン系鉱物油が潤滑油成分の全質量に対し90質量%以上を占め、増ちょう剤量をグリース組成物の全質量に対して3〜8質量%含有し、冷時異音を抑制したことを特徴とする固定型等速自在継手。
- 前記基油として含まれる潤滑油成分の全質量に対し、エステル系オイルを0〜5質量%含有したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固定型等速自在継手。
- 前記基油として含まれる潤滑油成分の全質量に対し、ナフテン系鉱物油を0質量%としたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の固定型等速自在継手。
- 前記グリースの増ちょう剤をウレア化合物とし、ちょう度を0号から2号としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の固定型等速自在継手。
- 前記外側継手部材および内側継手部材の各トラック溝を軸方向において円弧部のみで形成したことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の固定型等速自在継手。
- 前記外側継手部材および内側継手部材の各トラック溝を軸方向において円弧部とストレート部で構成したことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の固定型等速自在継手。
