また、ボールの表面粗さと、ボールの表面粗さのパラメータSK値と、ボールの表面積に対する多数の微小凹部の合計面積の比率を上記のように設定したことにより、ボール表面の微小凹部に潤滑剤を適度に侵入させて保持することができ、ボールと案内溝との間に潤滑剤による油膜層を形成することができる。これにより、ボールと案内溝相互間の摩擦を効果的に低減させることが可能となる。

Claims (6)
- 球形内周面に軸線方向に延びる案内溝を形成すると共に、内部に潤滑剤を充填した外側継手部材と、当該外側継手部材の内径側に設けると共に、球形外周面に軸線方向に延びる案内溝を形成した内側継手部材と、前記両継手部材の互いに対向した案内溝間に転動自在に介装したトルク伝達ボールと、各ボールを保持した保持器を備えた固定式等速自在継手において、
前記ボールの表面に微小凹部をランダムに多数形成し、
前記微小凹部を多数形成したボールの表面粗さの下限値をRa0.03μmとすると共に、前記表面粗さの上限値をRa0.6μmに設定し、前記ボールの表面粗さのパラメータSK値の上限値を−1.0と設定し、前記ボールの表面積に対する前記多数の微小凹部の合計面積の比率の下限値を10%とすると共に、前記比率の上限値を40%と設定したことを特徴とする固定式等速自在継手。 - 前記潤滑剤の摩擦係数の上限値を0.07としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記潤滑剤をウレアグリースとし、そのウレアグリースの稠度の下限を0号とすると共に、前記ウレアグリースの稠度の上限を2号としたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記微小凹部を多数形成したボールの表面粗さの下限値をRa0.05μmとすると共に、前記表面粗さの上限値をRa0.15μmに設定し、前記ボールの表面粗さのパラメータSK値の下限値を−4.9とすると共に、前記パラメータSK値の上限値を−1.0と設定したことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記外側継手部材及び内側継手部材の各案内溝を8本とし、両継手部材の互いに対向した案内溝間に転動自在に介装したトルク伝達ボールを8個とし、前記外側継手部材及び内側継手部材の各案内溝に対し前記ボールを2点でアンギュラコンタクトさせたことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記外側継手部材及び内側継手部材の各案内溝と前記ボールとの接触点とボール中心とを通る直線と、ボール中心と継手中心とを通る直線が成す接触角の下限値を30°とすると共に、前記接触角の上限値を38°と設定し、前記両側継手部材の互いに対向した案内溝と前記ボールとの各接触点における軸線方向の2接線が成す挟み角の下限値を8.5°とすると共に、前記挟み角の上限値を12.5°と設定したことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
