Description
Mg6Si4O10(OH)8 + 4CH3OSi(CH3O)3・・・(1)
である。このようにアルコキシ基が、アスベストの水酸基と反応して、アスベストが分解して、酸化マグネシウムトリシリケート(2MgO・3SiO2),酸化ケイ素(SiO2)と、アルキルアルコール(メチルアルコール)等が生じる。なお、これらは、加熱してアルキルアルコールを回収する温度まで上昇させない場合の生成物である。
この分離は分留により行い、流動物質を沸点の違いにより、分けて回収する。なお、分留は減圧下で行ってもよい。なお、分離は遠心分離によってもよい。

さらに、析出したフッ化マグネシウムと酸化マグネシウムを塩酸で処理して分離する。

塩化マグネシウム(MgCl2)は水に溶け出し、フッ化カルシウム(MgF2)を分離できる。
なお、処理の開始から3日後の顕微鏡写真である。

Claims (4)
- アルコキシシランと、フッ化カルシウムを含む2種類以上のカルシウム塩と、を含有するアスベスト処理剤を準備するアスベスト処理剤準備手順と、
前記アスベスト処理剤をアスベストに加えて、前記アスベストの水酸基と前記アルコキシシランとを反応させてアルコールを生成し、前記アスベストのマグネシウムと前記カルシウム塩のカルシウムとを置換して、前記アスベストが分解したアスベスト処理物を得るアスベスト処理手順と、
前記アスベスト処理物から前記生成したアルコールと固形物質とを分離する分離手順と、
を備え、
前記生成したアルコールまたは前記固形物質を資源として利用することを特徴とするアスベスト利用方法。 - 前記フッ化カルシウムを含む2種類以上のカルシウム塩が、フッ化カルシウムおよび硫酸カルシウムであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアスベスト利用方法。
- 前記アスベスト処理手順において、前記アスベストの水酸基と前記アルコキシシランとが反応して生成したアルコールを除去して反応を進めるために、加熱をすることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のアスベスト利用方法。
- 前記アスベスト処理剤が、更に水と、前記アルコキシシランのアルコキシ基に対応するアルキル基を有するアルコールと異なる水溶性の有機溶媒と、を含有することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のアスベスト利用方法。
