Claims (4)
- 電解質の両側に一対の電極を配設した電解質・電極構造体と金属セパレータとが積層されるとともに、電極面方向に沿って燃料ガス、酸化剤ガス及び冷却媒体であるそれぞれの流体を流通させる複数の流体流路が形成されるセルユニットを備え、複数の前記セルユニットが積層される燃料電池であって、
前記電解質・電極構造体の外周には、樹脂枠部材が一体に設けられ、前記樹脂枠部材には、積層方向に貫通して各流体を流通させる複数の流体連通孔と、
同一の前記流体を流通させる前記流体連通孔及び前記流体流路を連通させる複数の連結流路と、
が形成されるとともに、
前記積層方向に互いに隣接する前記セルユニットは、一方の前記連結流路と他方の前記連結流路とが前記積層方向に互いに重なり合わない位置にオフセットして配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記連結流路は、前記樹脂枠部材に形成される複数の溝部により構成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 請求項2記載の燃料電池において、前記金属セパレータは、一対の前記樹脂枠部材間に配置されるとともに、
前記溝部は、一方の前記樹脂枠部材に設けられる第1溝部と、
一方の前記樹脂枠部材に積層される他方の前記樹脂枠部材に設けられる第2溝部と、
を有し、
前記第1溝部と前記第2溝部とは、端部同士が連通することを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池において、前記金属セパレータの外形は、前記樹脂枠部材の前記流体連通孔よりも内方に位置することを特徴とする燃料電池。
