Claims (3)
- 電解質膜の両側に電極が設けられる電解質膜・電極構造体とセパレータとが積層されるとともに、一方のセパレータには、燃料ガス又は酸化剤ガスの一方の反応ガスをセパレータ面に沿って一方向に流通させる反応ガス流路と、前記反応ガス流路に連通して前記一方の反応ガスをセパレータ積層方向に流通させる反応ガス連通孔とが形成される燃料電池であって、
前記反応ガス連通孔は、前記反応ガス流路の流れ方向に交差する流路幅方向に延在する長方形状を有し、前記反応ガス連通孔の開口部短辺側の幅寸法は、前記流路幅方向の端部側から中央側に向かって大きくなるように構成され、
前記一方のセパレータは、前記反応ガス流路の入口側及び前記反応ガス流路の出口側に連なってそれぞれ三角形状のバッファ部を設けるとともに、
前記反応ガス連通孔の開口部の一辺は、前記三角形状の一辺に平行するように構成され
ることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記反応ガス連通孔の前記開口部短辺側の幅寸法は、前記流路幅方向の端部側から中央側に向かって連続的に大きくなるように構成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池において、前記反応ガス連通孔は、少なくとも前記反応ガス流路に前記反応ガスを供給する反応ガス入口連通孔であり、
前記反応ガス流路から前記反応ガスを排出する反応ガス出口連通孔の開口断面積は、前記反応ガス入口連通孔の開口断面積よりも大きく設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
