これにより、目標電圧を設定する際に要する処理負荷を低減することができる。
各PDU14,15は、例えばトランジスタなどのスイッチング素子を複数用いてブリッジ接続してなるブリッジ回路を具備するパルス幅変調(PWM)によるPWMインバータを備えて構成されている。
DC/DCコンバータ16は、例えば、バッテリ(BATT)17の端子間電圧を所定の電圧まで昇圧あるいは降圧して各PDU14,15に印加可能であると共に、各PDU14,15の端子間電圧(直流側電圧)を所定の電圧まで降圧あるいは昇圧してバッテリ17を充電可能である。
また、例えば内燃機関12の動力により発電用モータ13が発電する場合には、第2PDU15は発電用モータ13から出力される交流の発電電力を直流電力に変換して、DC/DCコンバータ16を介してバッテリ17を充電または走行用モータ11の第1PDU14に電力供給する。
なお、各磁石温度検出部35,36は、永久磁石の温度を直接的に検出する代わりに、予め実行される試験などによって得られる所定のマップ(例えば、各モータ11,13の冷却媒体の温度と、永久磁石の温度との対応関係を示すマップなど)を参照して、他の温度検出値(例えば、各モータ11,13の冷却媒体の温度の検出結果など)に応じて、永久磁石の温度を取得してもよい。
また、所定の保護温度は、例えば図3に示すように、走行用モータ11および第1PDU14の組み合わせ(回転電機制御部41)と、発電用モータ13および第2PDU15の組み合わせ(回転電機制御部42)とに対して同一の値であってもよい。
そして、メモリ21に記憶されている所定マップ、例えば、各モータ11,13の回転数とトルクと運転損失が最小となる電源電圧(つまり各PDU14,15の直流側電圧であって、損失最小電圧)との対応関係を示すマップ(モータ損失最小電圧マップ、発電機損失最小電圧マップ)を参照して、各モータ11,13の目標回転数および目標トルクに対応する電源電圧(損失最小電圧)を取得する。そして、取得した各損失最小電圧を走行用モータ11のモータ電圧Vmotおよび発電用モータ13の発電機電圧Vgenとする。
次に、ステップS02においては、各モータ11,13に対する目標回転数および目標トルクを算出する。
次に、ステップS03においては、後述する熱平衡電圧Vtarの算出処理を実行する。
次に、ステップS04においては、熱平衡電圧Vtarによって目標電圧Vを設定し、エンドに進む。
先ず、例えば図6に示すステップS11においては、モータ損失最小電圧マップを参照して、走行用モータ11の目標回転数および目標トルクに対応する電源電圧(損失最小電圧)を取得し、取得した損失最小電圧を走行用モータ11のモータ電圧Vmotとする。
同一の運転特性を有する各モータ11,13に対しては、何れか1つを対象として損失最小電圧を算出し、この損失最小電圧に基づき各モータ11,13および各PDU14,15が熱平衡状態であるときの熱平衡電圧Vtarを算出したとしても、各モータ11,13および各PDU14,15の全体での運転損失は、何れのモータを対象として損失最小電圧を算出するかに応じて変化しないとみなすことができる。
これにより、目標電圧Vを設定する際に要する処理負荷を低減することができる。
なお、上述した実施の形態において、温度判定部25は、発電機余裕温度ΔTgenを磁石余裕温度ΔTgen1とチップ余裕温度ΔTgen2の和としたが、さらに、コイル温度を加えてもよい。
これらにより、電圧変化に伴う弱め界磁電流の影響を考慮することができる。
次に、ステップS22においては、各モータ11,13に対する目標回転数および目標トルクを算出する。
次に、ステップS23においては、上述したステップS11〜S15の処理を実行し、熱平衡電圧Vtarを算出する。
次に、ステップS24においては、後述する電圧Vtの算出処理を実行する。
次に、ステップS25においては、必要に応じて電圧Vtまたは熱平衡電圧Vtarを選択して、目標電圧Vを設定し、エンドに進む。
先ず、例えば図8に示すステップS31においては、走行用モータ11の目標回転数および目標トルクに基づき、所定の演算処理によって電源電圧(つまり、第1PDU14の直流側電圧)を算出し、この算出結果をモータ電圧Vmとする。
次に、ステップS32においては、発電用モータ13の目標回転数および目標トルクに基づき、所定の演算処理によって電源電圧(つまり、第2PDU15の直流側電圧)を算出し、この算出結果を発電機電圧Vgとする。
次に、ステップS33においては、モータ電圧Vmまたは発電機電圧Vg(例えば、何れか大きい方など)を選択して、電圧Vtとし、リターンに進む。
なお、モータ電圧Vmおよび発電機電圧Vgは、例えば、各モータ11,13の各損失最小電圧や、各モータ11,13の弱め界磁電流を最小とする制御(つまり、最大電圧ベクトル制御)などにより得られる電源電圧などである。
なお、上述した実施の形態において、ハイブリッド車両1はシリーズ型に限定されず、例えばシリーズ型およびパラレル型の両方の機能を有するハイブリッド車両、あるいはパワースプリット型ハイブリッド車両などであってもよい。
また、回転電機制御装置10は、ハイブリッド車両1に限定されず、例えば走行用モータ(MOT)11が駆動輪Wに連結された電動車両に搭載されてもよい。

Claims (5)
- 回転電機および該回転電機の通電制御を行なう通電制御手段により回転電機制御手段を構成し、負荷が異なる2つの前記回転電機制御手段と、
2つの前記回転電機制御手段の直流側電圧に対する目標電圧を前記2つの前記回転電機制御手段が熱平衡状態であるときの前記直流側電圧である熱平衡電圧によって設定する目標電圧設定手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする回転電機制御装置。 - 前記目標電圧設定手段は、前記熱平衡状態に対する前記回転電機制御手段毎の温度余裕度に基づき前記熱平衡電圧を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転電機制御装置。
- 前記回転電機制御手段毎に前記回転電機の回転数およびトルクに基づき運転損失が最小となる状態であるときの前記直流側電圧である損失最小電圧を算出する損失最小電圧算出手段を備え、
前記目標電圧設定手段は、前記回転電機制御手段毎の前記損失最小電圧を前記回転電機制御手段毎の電圧とし、該電圧と前記温度余裕度とに基づき、前記熱平衡電圧を算出することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の回転電機制御装置。 - 複数の前記回転電機は、同一の運転特性を有することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れか1つに記載の回転電機制御装置。
- 前記回転電機制御手段は、2つとされ、
一方の回転電機制御手段の回転電機は電動機とされ、
他方の回転電機制御手段の回転電機は発電機とされることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4の何れか1つに記載の回転電機制御装置。
