Description
Claims (14)
- カソード層、前記カソード層上に位置する電解質層、及び前記電解質層上に位置するアノード層を具備する第1セルと、
カソード層、前記カソード層上に位置する電解質層、及び前記電解質層上に位置するアノードを具備する第2セルと、
均一な厚さを具備し、且つ、前記第1セルと前記第2セルの間に配設されたセラミック相互接続層であって、前記第1セルと前記セラミック相互接続層の間の界面領域に沿って第1高温結合領域を、前記第2セルと前記セラミック相互接続層の間の界面領域に沿って第2高温結合領域を具備するセラミック相互接続層と、を有し、
前記第1及び第2高温結合領域は、前記セラミック相互接続層と前記第1セルの間の拡散結合と、前記セラミック相互接続層と前記第2セルの間の拡散結合を含むものであり、
前記セラミック相互接続層は、100ミクロン以下の厚さを具備し、そして、
前記セラミック相互接続層は、5.0容積%以下の気孔率を具備する一体化されたSOFC積層体。 - 前記セラミック相互接続層は、クロムを含む請求項1記載のSOFC積層体。
- 前記セラミック相互接続層は、LaSrCrO3を含む請求項1記載のSOFC積層体。
- 前記第1高温結合領域及び第2高温結合領域は、前記セラミック相互接続層の材料及び前記第1及び第2セルそれぞれの前記セラミック相互接続層に隣接する層からの材料を含む請求項1記載のSOFC積層体。
- 一体化されたSOFC積層体を形成する方法において、
第1セル構造を形成する段階であって、前記第1セル構造は、第1電極層、前記第1電極層上に位置する電解質層、及び前記電解質層上に位置する第2電極層を具備する、段階と、
前記第1セル構造上に位置するセラミック相互接続層を形成する段階と、
第2セル構造を形成する段階であって、前記第2セル構造は、第1電極層、前記第1電極層上に位置する電解質層、及び前記電解質層上に位置する第2電極層を具備する、段階と、
前記第1セル構造、前記相互接続層、及び前記第2セル構造を共にホットプレスすることにより、前記第1セル構造、前記相互接続層、及び前記第2セル構造を一体に結合して、前記第1セル構造及び前記第2セル構造の間に配設された均一な厚さのセラミック相互接続層を具備する一体化されたSOFCセル積層体を形成する段階と、を有し、
前記第1及び第2高温結合領域は、前記セラミック相互接続層と前記第1セルの間の拡散結合と、前記セラミック相互接続層と前記第2セルの間の拡散結合を含むものであり、
前記セラミック相互接続層は、100ミクロン以下の厚さを具備し、そして、
前記セラミック相互接続層は、5.0容積%以下の気孔率を具備する、前記一体化されたSOFC積層体の形成方法。 - 前記ホットプレスする段階は、前記第1セル構造、前記相互接続層、及び前記第2セル構造を共にプレスすることにより、1つの熱サイクルにおいて、一体に結合された構造を形成する段階を含む請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記ホットプレスする段階は、少なくとも0.5MPa以上の圧力において実施される請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記ホットプレスする段階は、0.5MPa〜10MPaの範囲の圧力において実施される請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記ホットプレスする段階は、少なくとも1,050℃以上で、且つ、1,800℃以下の温度において実施される請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記セラミック相互接続層は、前記第1セル構造及び前記第2セル構造が電気的に接続されている請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記ホットプレスする段階は、前記セラミック相互接続層と前記第1セル構造内の隣接する電極層の間に第1高温結合領域を、そして、前記セラミック相互接続層と前記第2セル構造内の隣接する電極層の間に第2高温結合領域を形成する段階を含む請求項5記載の方法。
- 一体化されたSOFCコンポーネントを形成する方法において、
第1グリーン電極層、前記第1グリーン電極層上に位置するグリーン電解質層、及び前記グリーン電解質層上に位置する第2グリーン電極層を具備する第1グリーンセル構造を形成する段階と、
第1グリーン電極層、前記第1グリーン電極層上に位置するグリーン電解質層、及び前記グリーン電解質層上に位置する第2グリーン電極層を具備する第2グリーンセル構造を形成する段階と、
前記第1グリーンセル構造と前記第2グリーンセル構造の間に配設されたグリーンセラミック相互接続層を形成する段階と、
前記第1グリーンセル構造、前記グリーンセラミック相互接続層、及び前記第2グリーンセル構造を1つの熱サイクルにおいて共にホットプレスすることにより、前記第1グリーンセル構造、前記グリーンセラミック相互接続層、及び前記第2グリーンセル構造を一体に結合して、一体化された高密度SOFCセル積層体を形成する段階と、を有し、
前記ホットプレスは、100ミクロン以下の厚さと5.0容積%以下の気孔率を具備する緻密なセラミック相互接続層を形成する段階を含み、
前記ホットプレスは、前記セラミック相互接続層と前記第1セルの間の拡散結合とを含む第1の高温結合領域と、前記セラミック相互接続層と前記第2セルの間の拡散結合を含む第2の高温結合領域との形成段階を含む、
一体化されたSOFCコンポーネントを形成する前記方法。 - 前記ホットプレスする段階は、1,050℃以上の温度において実施される請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記ホットプレスする段階は、第1焼結セル構造と第2焼結セル構造の間に配設された均一な厚さを具備する高密度セラミック相互接続層を形成する段階を含む請求項12記載の方法。
