Claims (11)
- 複数の画素を有する表示装置であって、
前記複数の画素に対応する複数の画素電極と、
前記複数の画素電極に、それぞれスイッチング素子を介して接続された複数の信号線と、を備え、
前記複数の画素電極は、第1画素電極と第2画素電極を含み、
前記複数の信号線は、前記第1画素電極に接続された第1信号線と、前記第2画素電極に接続された第2信号線とを含み、
前記第1画素電極の前記第1信号線の側の下方にはシールド電極が形成されており、前記第2画素電極の前記第2信号線側の下方にはシールド電極が形成されていない、
もしくは、前記第1画素電極の前記第1画素電極を挟んで前記第1信号線に隣り合う信号線側の下方にはシールド電極が形成されており、前記第2画素電極の前記第2画素電極を挟んで前記第2信号線に隣り合う信号線側の下方にはシールド電極が形成されておらず、
前記複数の画素は、異なる複数の色を表示する画素を含み、前記第1画素電極のXYZ色度表示におけるY値は前記第2画素電極のY値よりも大きい、表示装置。 - 前記第1画素電極を含む画素の開口率と、前記第2画素電極を含む画素の開口率とが、実質的に等しい、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の色の1繰り返し単位中に、前記第1画素電極と前記第2画素電極を含む、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の色の1繰り返し単位中の全ての画素の開口率が、実質的に等しい、請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の色の1繰り返し単位中に含まれる画素の構造は2種類存在し、
前記画素の構造は、前記第1画素電極に対応する第1画素構造を含み、
前記第1画素構造をもつ画素が表示する色は、前記複数の色の1繰り返し単位中に1色のみ存在する、請求項3または4に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1画素構造をもつ画素は、前記複数の色のうち、XYZ色度表示において最もY値の高い色に対応する画素である、請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の画素は、赤色を表示する赤画素と、緑色を表示する緑画素と、青色を表示する青画素からなり、前記第1画素構造をもつ画素は、前記緑画素の画素である、請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の画素は、赤色を表示する赤画素と、緑色を表示する緑画素と、青色を表示する青画素と、白色を表示する白画素からなり、前記第1画素構造をもつ画素は、前記白画素の画素である、請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の色の1繰り返し単位中に含まれる画素の構造は2種類存在し、
前記画素の構造は、前記第1画素電極に対応する第1画素構造と、前記第2画素電極に対応する第2画素構造とを含み、
前記第1画素構造をもつ画素が表示する色は、前記複数の色の1繰り返し単位中に2色以上存在する、請求項3または4に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1画素構造をもつ画素は、前記複数の色のうち、XYZ色度表示において最もY値の高い色に対応する画素を含む、請求項9に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の画素は、赤色を表示する赤画素と、緑色を表示する緑画素と、青色を表示する青画素と、白色を表示する白画素からなり、前記第1画素構造をもつ画素は、前記白画素の画素、前記緑画素の画素である、請求項9に記載の表示装置。
