・基部モジュールm0の底部(m0a)は、バッフル25により制限されている、磁石デバイスの回転する区画を有している。この図におけるバッフル25の間の空間13は、培養液の排出口である。これは、磁石デバイスの回転により生じるサイフォンにより吸い込まれた培養液が、バッフル25の間の開口部13を介して、バッフル25により区切られている区画の外側27(実質的な円形区画)へと放出されるからである。
・基部モジュールm0の上部(m0b)は、実質的な管状の形状である培養液流入口11を有している。これらの流入口11は、本発明に係る装置1における第4培養液移動区画5からもたらされる培養液を、磁石デバイス7の回転により生じたサイフォンに導く。磁石デバイスが回転するとき、実質的な円形領域27に位置している培養液は、穿孔26に流入する。上記の穿孔26は、本発明に係る装置における第1培養液移動区画3(特に、第1培養液移動区画における実質的な筒部)に流通させる区画30に培養液を送出する。

Claims (10)
- 基本的に細胞を含まない培養液の移動区画である少なくとも1つの第1の区画(3)および細胞培養区画である少なくとも1つの第2の区画(5)を有している、カバー(19)を備えた培養容器(2)と、
下部の壁(15)および上部の壁(16)を備えており、かつ、各々の壁(15、16)が基本的に細胞を含まない培養液の移動を可能にする開口部(17)を有する培養区画(5)を通って、培養液を循環させる培養液循環手段と、を備えている細胞培養装置(1)であって、
いずれもが基本的に細胞を含まない培養液移動区画である、少なくとも1つの第3の区画(4)および少なくとも1つの第4の区画(6)をさらに備えており、
上記第3の区画(4)は、上記第1の区画(3)および上記第2の区画(5)との間において培養液を流通させ、上記第4の区画(6)は、上記第2の区画(5)(上記培養区画(5))との間において培養液を流通させると共に、上記培養液循環手段を介して、上記第1の区画(3)(上記培養液移動区画(3))との間において培養液を流通させ、

上記第1の培養液移動区画(3)から第3の培養液移動区画(4)へ培養液(M)をオーバーフローさせることにより移動させる第3の培養液移動工程と、
第3の培養液移動区画(4)から第2の細胞培養区画(5)に培養液(M)を移動させる第2の培養液移動工程と、
上記第2の細胞培養区画(5)から第4の培養液移動区画(6)へ培養液(M)をオーバーフローさせることにより移動させる第4の培養液移動工程とを含む、培養液循環機構を有する培養容器(2)における細胞培養方法であって、
上記第2の培養液移動工程では、上記第2の細胞培養区画(5)において培養液(M)を下から上に向かって移動させることを特徴とする細胞培養方法。 - 1度以上の上記移動工程の間に、上記培養液に対して酸素添加する工程をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の細胞培養方法。
