Claims (4)
- ハブ輪と複列の転がり軸受と等速自在継手とがユニット化され、前記等速自在継手の外側継手部材は内側継手部材が内装されるマウス部を備え、前記外側継手部材のマウス部の底壁のハブ輪対応面とハブ輪の端部加締部とが凹凸嵌合構造を介して一体化され、かつ、ハブ輪の端部が加締られてハブ輪に外嵌される転がり軸受の内輪に対して予圧が付与された車輪用軸受装置であって、
前記外側継手部材のマウス部のハブ輪対応面に、径方向に延びる複数の凸条と径方向に延びる複数の凹条とが周方向に沿って交互に配設されるフェーススプラインを形成し、このフェーススプラインの径方向に延びる凸条を前記凹凸嵌合構造の凸部とし、この凸の硬度をハブ輪の端部加締部の硬度よりも高め、凹凸嵌合構造の凸部が嵌合する凹部を有さない状態の前記端部加締部に対する前記凸部の押圧により、この端部加締部に前記凸部に密着嵌合する径方向に延びる凹部を形成して、外側継手部材とハブ輪とをねじ固定により凸部と凹部との嵌合接触部位全域が密着するトルク伝達手段としての前記凹凸嵌合構造を構成したことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記凹凸嵌合構造の凸部は、その頂部がシャープエッジとなる断面三角形状体にて構成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 外側継手部材のマウス部の底壁に、マウス部側の凸部によるハブ輪の端部加締部への押圧状態においてハブ輪の孔部に嵌入する軸合わせ用突起部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材のマウス部のハブ輪対応面の凹凸嵌合構造の凸部の硬度を、ハブ輪の端部加締部の硬度よりも、HRCで30ポイント以上高くしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
