Claims (6)
- 軸部嵌合孔を有する中空状をなし、ホイールに結合されるフランジを外周に有するハブ輪と、2つの外側軌道面、外側軌道面に対向する2つの内側軌道面、および対向する外側軌道面と内側軌道面との間に配置された転動体を有する複列の転がり軸受と、外側継手部材を有する等速自在継手とを備え、外側継手部材がマウス部と軸部とを有し、ハブ輪と、ハブ輪の軸部嵌合孔に挿入された外側継手部材の軸部とがトルク伝達可能に連結され、ハブ輪、転がり軸受、および外側継手部材がユニット化された車輪用軸受装置であって、
外側継手部材のマウス部の内周に、第1外側トラック溝と第2外側トラック溝とが周方向に沿って交互に所定ピッチで配設されており、
前記等速自在継手は、さらに、第1内側トラック溝と第2内側トラック溝とが周方向に沿って交互に所定ピッチで配設される内側継手部材と、外側継手部材の第1外側トラック溝とこれに対応する内側継手部材の第1内側トラック溝とで構成される第1ボールトラック内を転動する第1ボールと、外側継手部材の第2外側トラック溝とこれに対応する内側継手部材の第2内側トラック溝とで構成される第2ボールトラックを転動する第2ボールと、外側継手部材と内側継手部材との間に介在されて前記第1ボール及び第2ボールを保持するケージとを備え、
トルク伝達ボールを第1ボールの4個と第2ボールの4個の合計8個とし、かつ、第1ボールトラックと第2ボールトラックの各トラック溝の曲率半径を、継手中心平面に対して軸方向に反対方向に等距離だけずらせて、前記第1ボールトラックでは第1ボールを開口側へ押圧し、前記第2ボールトラックでは第2ボールを反開口側へ押圧するように構成し、
前記外側継手部材の軸部の外径面および前記ハブ輪の内径面のうち、何れか一方に設けられた軸方向に延びる凸部を軸方向に沿って他方に圧入し、他方に、凸部の圧入により凹部を形成することで、凹部が凸部で削り取られた部分を有し、かつ凸部と凹部の嵌合接触部位全体が密着する凹凸嵌合構造を構成して、ハブ輪と外側継手部材とを連結したことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記ハブ輪と外側継手部材を、軸方向の引き抜き力の付与で分離可能にした請求項1記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ハブ輪および等速自在継手の外側継手部材のうち一方に設けた凸部を熱処理により硬化させ、他方の凹部形成面を未硬化状態とした請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材の軸部に凸部を形成し、凸部にて形成される凹部からの材料のはみ出しで形成されたはみ出し部を収納するためのポケット部を軸部に形成した請求項1〜3何れか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凸部の突出方向中間部位の周方向厚さを、周方向に隣り合う前記凸部間の溝幅よりも小さくした請求項1〜4何れか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凸部の突出方向中間部位の周方向厚さの総和を、周方向に隣り合う前記凸部間の溝幅の総和よりも小さくした請求項1〜5何れか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
